About: Hi! I’m Cass, a lifelong dog lover and proud pet parent to our gentle Great Pyrenees, who truly believes he’s a 100-lb lap dog. We’ve also been lucky enough to share our lives with two other amazing pups—a loyal German Shepherd and a sweet Lab mix—who have since passed but left us with so much love and experience. Dogs are a huge part of our family. Our Pyrenees goes everywhere with us, and he’s wonderful with other dogs—calm, friendly, and happy to make new buddies. My kids also love playing with dogs and are always excited to have furry guests around. What you can expect from me as your sitter: 🐶 A safe, loving, homey environment 🚶♂️ Daily walks and plenty of exercise (it’s really important to me!) 💛 Lots of affection, attention, and updates 🏡 A family that truly enjoys having dogs around 🐾 A dog-friendly resident pup who helps make visitors feel at ease Your dog will be treated like part of our family—because that’s truly how I care for them. Whether we’re out on a walk, playing in the yard, or relaxing inside, I make sure each dog feels loved, comfortable, and well cared for. I’d love to meet your pup and give them a home-away-from-home experience! Let me know if you’d like to chat or set up a meet-and-greet. 🐾💛 I work in the evenings and my husband works during the day so your pet will always have someone with them. We also have two kids My dog and kids will keep your pet company. Have about an acre of land surrounded by woods. Our dog runs free but we can offer leash service as well

About: I've been providing house sitting and pet care for the past three years, caring for both dogs and cats while giving owners peace of mind when they're away. During that time, I've looked after pets of all ages, including senior animals and pets with medical needs, so I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions and maintaining their routines. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own home, and I treat every home and every animal with the same care and respect I would my own. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care so you can travel knowing your pets are in good hands. Pet care is a meaningful part of my daily routine. I make time each day to provide attention, play, feeding, and care to ensure pets feel comfortable and happy. I am able to work pet care into my schedule by prioritizing consistency, communication, and making sure each pet receives the time and attention they deserve. I provide pet care with a focus on safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment. I have a cat of my own who I spend plenty of time playing with and caring for, while making sure his needs are always met. I keep my home clean, organized, and free of hazards, with anything potentially unsafe kept out of reach. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully, respect their space and belongings, and treat their home and pets with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

About: Hello! I have loved animals since I was a child, I grew up on a farm in rural Pennsylvania. As a kid, I got to see three litters of puppies be born. As an adult, I have two cats (one we found in our backyard at just a week old. I got into dog walking by accident, I was helping a lady in the community and her dog she rescued from India really liked me. She said her dog doesn’t like many people and asked if I would like to walk her some days. From then on (Dimple) and I were good friends. She was a fun companion during the day and I felt special because she took to me. I hope your dog likes me too! We live in a townhome community with great sidewalks for walking. We also have a dog park! Your pup is welcome to sleep and be wherever they feel comfortable in our house. We have 3 children who will keep your pup entertained!

I also have personal experience with seniors, puppies, special needs and x-large large dogs. I also have much understanding and experience with cats and kittens as well I'm currently Part-Time, which means I will have more time to watch over and love on your babies. I believe (and have experienced it with my own pets) that pets are more comfortable in their own home, and that's why I offer to come and house/pet sit in the safe haven that is your house. About: Hours of availability on the weekends, Friday 5pm-Sun 9pm. Possibly before 5 on fridays depending on location. I Love dogs, and have had 3 jack Russell terriers and 2 German short haired pointers and now 2 Labrador retrievers. I want to make it easy for pet owners to do things and not have to worry about their pet. I have also been in charge of the grooming(nails, bathing etc) since I was young. I feel I can tell how/what dogs want, they call me the dog whisperer. Just want all dogs/animals to love me :) We now adopted 3 kittens in the last 6 years since they always find us. Let me care for your dog/cat while you enjoy yourself. I have had other animals, not just dogs, as I care for animals in general(fish, guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits, birds, cats). I have always been the dependable Neighbor and was always asked to watch the neighbors animals while they were away. I know how hard it is to find a caring person to watch your pet, instead of a kennel. I also have had to give my first dog insulin shots 2xs a day, also have given her medicine daily. Also give medicine/supplements to my current pets. Let me be that person.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Windsor
I can’t thank Sam enough for stepping in this weekend! I needed a last minute dog walker for my two pups, and she was incredibly accommodating. She took the time to do a meet & greet, which I really appreciated, and the dogs loved her instantly (my toddler did too!). Sam is so pleasant and clearly cares - she gave my fur babies tons of attention and nice long walks, even in bitter cold weather. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
