About: They say grief is love with no place to go, so since my senior Belgian Malinois passed away, I've been fostering dogs and would like to get into dog walking. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I have pet-sat for family and friends as well. I currently have a very flexible schedule. I am generally available during daylight hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and 5 PM or later Tuesday and Thursday. Before or at the start of our first walk, I'd like to get to know your dog's preferences, triggers, and typical walking habits and routes. I suggest treats for positive reinforcement if working on socialization and a slip lead to reduce pulling. A safe, enjoyable outing is my priority for your dog.

She stayed and made sure all of them were fed. One has anxiety, the other takes a long time to eat. She was kind and all 3 liked her right away and were comfortable with Melinda. She really put our minds at ease and made us feel more comfortable leaving them in her care.”

About: I have had pets since I was around 8 years old. Became a Vet Tech in 2006 taking care of mainly dogs and cats, giving medications and monitoring their health, as well as helping pet owners and working with Veterinarians. I take care of every pet as if they were my own. I have been in rescue and TNR since the year 2000 when my husband and I discovered our own feral colony. I have had pets of my own since 1999.

About: I was raised as a child with pets - fish, cats and of course dogs. Growing up we had 2 Irish Setters a Chihuahua and multiple cats. As an adult I started off with just having multiple cats and then began to have dogs enter my life again. I had a very loving Pit Bull for a short period of time and a few years later I adopted a Boston Terrier who is now 13 years old. In addition to my senior dog, I now also have a 1 ½ year old Boston and 1 senior cat. I never had children so these are my kids and my extended family. I do everything I can to ensure they have a loving home and are well cared for and I will do the same for your four-legged kids :) With a lot of patience I have been able to do a few simple commands with my dogs. I have experience with potty training a puppy and also have extensive experience with senior dogs as my senior is currently half blind, has incontinence issues (at times) and has trouble walking. I currently can be home during the day and am usually home in the evenings and on weekends. When I know im pet sitting i stay home so my focus is on your pet. I spend a lot of time playing, walking and giving love to my pets. I will do the same for yours. I have a large unfenced yard but also have a dog park nearby that i utilize. My pets are on a regualr feeding schedule and I will adhere to any directions or special needs you may have,

About: As a child and teen, I helped my mom breed, raise, and train golden retrievers. As an adult and family man, I cared for my dog "Beyoncé" and cat "Kitty." The house is kept clean and because of my pet history I keep things off the floor and food safe from pets. There’s a nice yard but no fence. I have my three boys staying here every other week/end. They're animal lovers too, but in case separation is needed, my bedroom, enclosed sunroom, and finished barn space can be used to contain a pet when the kids are around. For pet sitting and dog walking, I have a leash and a fanny pack. As a runner, it's a joy to take energetic dogs on the trail. For runs & walks, I use my own private access to the little gunpowder falls river woods with a long walkable waterfall, the local NCR trail, or the cemetery across the street (1/4mi laps).

About: I've always loved animals and am fascinated with their care. I have trained my own German Shepherd Husky as well as dog-sitted for a variety of restricted breeds.
