“Alexa is the absolute best!! She was very transparent and communicative and took such great care of our Finley ❤️. Every photo and video we received, our pup was smiling ear to ear. Even when there was a small house-related crisis (suspected water leak), she calmed our anxiety while we were out of town and handled it with ease and professionalism. We are so grateful to have found her and will absolutely be booking again!!!!”

“Chelsea was fantastic! Took great care of our dog and sent updates with pictures each day. We were able to enjoy our weekend away without having to worry about a thing. Would highly recommend!”

“Kylee was so incredible!!! She watched 4 dogs for a whole week and took such good care of them. She was super responsive and gave me updates! It also was super rainy the last few days and with 4 dogs and our yard is super muddy/ floors not good with mud and dog fur, we fully expected to walk into a filthy house but to our surprise the house was spotless. About: Growing up, I was surrounded by animals and always had cats in the home, along with guinea pigs. When I moved into my own place, I adopted my first dog, Leela, and later welcomed a chinchilla into my family as well. Through these experiences, I discovered how much I truly love caring for pets, which led me to adopt a second dog, Millie (pictured in my profile). I adopted Millie as a puppy, so I am very comfortable with puppy care, training basics, and the patience young dogs require. Since then, life has brought some changes. Following a move from Omaha, Nebraska to South Carolina and becoming a new mother, my personal pets are no longer in my care—Leela now lives with my former partner, and Millie was lovingly rehomed with another family when balancing a newborn became overwhelming. My chinchilla was also adopted by a new home due to the relocation. I am currently a stay-at-home mom without pets of my own, which allows me to be flexible, attentive, and fully present when caring for your pets. I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment. My schedule is very flexible, as pet care through Rover is my full-time gig. This allows me to accommodate a wide range of needs, including weekday, weekend, and last-minute requests. I’m able to adjust my availability to fit your pet’s routine and provide consistent, attentive care, whether that means drop-ins, extended visits, or customized schedules. Since I have no pets of my own, your pets will receive all of the attention and care they deserve. My home has a big unfenced yard.
“Amy is fantastic! She watched our cat, Black Fury, for a week and did an incredible job. She’s a “cat whisperer” who managed to win over our shy boy, and her daily photos/updates, kept us smiling. She also went above and beyond by keeping the house tidy, taking out the trash and bringing in our deliveries. Coming home to a clean house and a happy cat was the perfect end to our trip. Highly recommend!”

About: I have a Dog of my own name little Sammy. I’m used to taken care of Labrador and retrievers. I also feel more comfortable taken care of bigger dogs than smaller dog due to the fact that’s usually what I’ve taken care of. I try to go for running or the dog park at least once daily and take them out for walks at least three times a day. We usually eat in the morning, lunch and dinner and sometimes I provide treats. Sammy loves playing with dogs and it’s supper friendly for when I have dogs over. I’ve had dogs my whole entire life since I could remember. Always remember dog loves you more than they love themselves so treat them kindly and love them unconditionally. I currently work from home and my job is flexible. I also have a dog that needs daily walks, take him to the park and daily food. So, I’m used to doing pet care on a daily basis. I live in an apartment with minimum furniture so dogs can be safe with no worries. I also have a balcony with metal railing for railing.

Windmill Harbor pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kimberly was wonderful with our 2 spoiled goldendoodles. She played with them, kept them company and kept us well informed with pictures and updates. We had a worry-free trip and when we arrived home all was clean and ready for us to relax. We definitely would ask her again when the situation arises.

Morgan was the best! She took such great care of Hank and Wednesday and kept us updated the whole time. She was super sweet and communicated effectively throughout. Our HVAC broke right before our trip, and she was incredibly flexible — even watching the dogs at my boyfriend’s parents’ place to keep them comfortable. We’ll definitely be using her for all our future pet-sitting needs!

We recently booked Teresa for 6 days to care for our 2 golden retrievers, 2 cats, and our house. Our usual dog and house sitters were unavailable, so we tried Rover for the first time. We couldn't have been more pleased. We had a meet and greet one week before we left and reviewed all the care instructions. We were immediately comfortable with Teresa. While we were gone, she communicated daily about the animals. We had an unexpected security alarm problem and she managed it well. We were comfortable with her care of the animals and will definitely book her again. It was so nice to enjoy our time away and not worry about the care of our animals.
