I work M-F as a nurse but I’m usually done by 3:00 in the afternoon. I’ve found I really need something to do in my free time and I couldn’t think of anything better than taking care of some pets! About: I’ve had my own dog for 15 years now. I have done favors for many friends/family/neighbors of mine helping them with their animal while away. I can go on daily walks with your dog. Weekends are my ideal availability, but I can accommodate through the week if necessary, even if it’s just to check in on a cat to make sure they have food and water. I have a fenced backyard for my older dog. We do go on walks daily when cognitively he is able too. I can crate the dog if necessary. I give baths monthly and always make sure to have treats for him.

The career opportunity of a lifetime presented with a surge of panic. My mind began racing… how could I possibly make this business meeting in NYC if my sweet pup didn’t have proper care during the day? And I mean PROPER care. Like that of a new mother holding her infant babe to her bosom for the first time… like that of a blade of grass, caressing the first fallen leaves of autumn… like that of a truly obsessive dog owner for her yeasty old hound. But alas, I scrolled the options here on Rover and to my surprise landed on the page of a beautiful stallion… Danielle. With the locks of an Elvin Queen and kindness of a Hobbit, she accepted my drop in request and saved the day. My only regret? My furry love was swooned by her grace and surely yearns for her presence over my own. 10/10.
Our dog, Allie, liked Toni before she was even out of her car on the day of our meet & greet. We felt completely comfortable while away because of Toni’s commitment and great communication. We look forward to working with Toni again. I am so glad our first experience with Rover was with her.
Caroline is so sweet! Her love for animals is apparent and she takes special care of your furry friend. My dog Obi adores Caroline and they have so much fun playing together. There is plenty of love and snuggles given as well! She does a fantastic job giving a summary of the visit and I love seeing the photos. Dylan was fantastic with my dog Mattie while I was out of town. Right away when he arrived for our meet and greet his calm demeanor put her (and me!) at ease. He was very communicative the whole time I was gone and when I came home she was happy and calm. He even sprinkled some cinnamon to deter ants he noticed on my front porch. It worked! I highly recommend Dylan she will definitely be reaching out again!
Nick did a fantastic job taking care of my buddy. He took time and care to win my dog’s friendship. I received daily reports and felt comfortable having him and Katie in my home. I was nervous about using Rover and in home care in general and it turned out to be a very positive experience. I will be using Nick again in the future.
Let me tell you, if Shanisa has time to take care of your pet, you should jump at the chance. She has worked with my pups for months now and the improvement in my little dogs social skills have improved significantly! She takes so much pride in their improvements and I’m so grateful!
