About: Hey, pet parents! I’m a proud Animal Science student at Penn State with years of experience caring for all animals great and small including dogs, cats, horses, cows, and more! With 2 dogs and 3 cats of my own, I totally get how much love our pets bring into our lives. Whether your pup needs a walk or your cat needs cuddles, I bring knowledge, reliability, and lots of tail wags. I treat every animal like family because that’s exactly what they are! As a dedicated pet owner and Animal Science student, pet care is already a major part of my daily routine! I care for my own 2 dogs and 3 cats every day, which includes feeding, walking, grooming, playtime, and managing any health or behavioral needs. I naturally structure my schedule around animal care, and it’s something I truly enjoy and prioritize. Whether it’s early morning feedings, mid-day walks, or evening cuddle sessions, caring for animals is second nature to me and I’m always happy to make space in my week to care for others’ pets with the same love and attention I give my own. When caring for pets in my own home or a client’s, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and engaging environment that matches each animal’s personality and routine. In client homes, I always follow their care instructions closely whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, preferred walking routes, or favorite toys. I keep pets on their normal routines to reduce stress and make them feel comfortable while their owners are away. For cats, I make sure litter boxes are clean, water is fresh, and they have a mix of playtime and quiet time, depending on their temperament. For dogs, I provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection along with structured potty breaks and walks. I’m also experienced with senior pets and those needing medication or extra TLC. Whether I’m staying overnight, dropping in for visits, or out for a walk, I care for every pet like they’re my own attentively, gently, and with lots of love and respect!

About: While we are new to Rover, we are certainly no strangers to the world caring for pets. We are a husband & wife team with a combined total of over 50 years of animal care experience. From bottle feeding babies, to senior pet care to exotic animal husbandry, we have seen it all. Being pet parents ourselves, we have had several dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, & fish. Our American Bull dog mix, Jack, our King Charles Cavalier, Castle, our Chow Chow mix, CBJ, and our Labrador/Husky mix, Crichton, have all left muddy paw prints on our hearts long after they've all gone. We currently have 6 cats, 3 of which are siblings we adopted a year ago and are loving all the chaos that they bring to our days. We can't forget our 2 ferrets, Mongo and Princess Donut- 2 of the sweetest little trouble makers we've ever had. From providing dog walks, play times, medicating, cleaning, cuddles, & kisses, we want to continue your dedication to helping your family pets live happier, healthier lives. Brian has worked as a manager in the pet retail industry for over 30 years, in a variety of settings. He has had cats and dogs his entire life, as well as keeping fresh and saltwater aquariums and building large vivariums for tree frogs. He has experience volunteering in wildlife rehab as well as handling reptiles and raptors at Zoo America in Hershey. He worked as a licensed pet sitter for many years in his twenties. Tanya has worked at several zoos and small animal veterinarian clinics. She started out as a veterinary technician, which she loved doing for 11 years. She then transitioned to being a veterinary receptionist in 2017, moving her focus from purely pet care to client care as well. Attending a variety of pet care continuing education every year and owning several pets needing daily, weekly, and monthly medications, Tanya has a wide skill range allowing her to help you keep your pet feeling their best. We both work full time, but with differing hours, allowing for availability morning, noon, & night. Brian is an early riser, so early morning walks or medication administration would be easy to accommodate. We are more than happy to follow whatever instructions you might have when visiting & caring for your pets in your home. We are open to having some exotics, or very low key dogs, in our own home for boarding. We do have six cats that run our house, so whoever is staying with us would need to get along with them.

About: I’m experienced in caring for large and giant-breed puppies and adult dogs, fear-reactive dogs, and senior dogs who benefit from calm, low-stress environments. I personally own Cane Corso's, so I’m comfortable handling the size, strength, and energy that come with powerful breeds. I also have a small Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix with fear-based aggression, and for the past 16 years, I’ve learned how to recognize his triggers, respect his boundaries, and manage his behavior with patience and consistency. That experience has taught me that every dog deserves to be understood as an individual and cared for in a way that helps them feel safe and secure. Experienced with resource guarding behaviors and knowledgeable in the proper use of martingale collars, prong collars, and e-collars. I’m comfortable following each owner’s established handling and management routine while providing calm, attentive care. For me, caring for dogs is about more than meeting their basic needs. It’s about earning their trust and making them feel safe, happy, and loved. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages, from playful puppies full of energy to senior companions who need patience, gentleness, and attentive care. Every dog is different, and I approach each one with the care and understanding they deserve. Caring for animals is already a regular part of my everyday life, so adding pet care to my schedule comes naturally. I’m accustomed to planning my day around mealtimes, exercise, potty breaks, medications, and quality time. I’m comfortable adjusting my routine for puppies needing extra attention, active dogs needing exercise, seniors requiring a slower pace, or pets who simply do best with calm, predictable care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine and creating a calm, low-stress environment. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any established training or handling routines.

About: I am compassionate, caring and loving to all cats. My cat is my best friend because she listens better than humans. Cats are my go to for unjudgmental opinions I work full time, so I would be available to care for your furbabies after 4pm. I would also be available on the weekends to provide checkin n needed care. I have 1 cat , our apartment is cat friendly and quiet with 2 adult caretakers. I have had 3 cats previously. They can be such good companions. She eats 3 meals, has regular water changes and litter box changes and plays good solo .

About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for animals and have had four dogs of my own. I currently have two 8-month-old German Shepherd siblings, so I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs, puppy behavior, playtime, exercise, and maintaining a consistent routine. I’m also comfortable caring for senior pets and administering medications when needed. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision, attention, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I have a fenced-in yard, a crate, and a pool for dogs who enjoy swimming. My experience also includes caring for guinea pigs, ducks, and chickens, so I’m comfortable with a variety of pets and their individual needs. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while they’re in my care. I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and allows me to provide plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. I can accommodate regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and downtime based on your pet’s normal routine. I’m happy to work with you on your pet’s schedule and keep their routine as consistent as possible while they’re in my care. My home has a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, play, and potty breaks. I also have a crate available for dogs who are crate-trained or prefer their own comfortable space. I currently have two friendly, high-energy 8-month-old German Shepherds, so I understand the importance of supervised introductions and making sure every dog feels comfortable in a new environment. Because my home is located along a main highway, I want to be transparent that dogs who are frequent escape artists or known to climb, dig, or jump fences may not be the best fit for my home. Safety is my top priority, and I want every pet I care for to be secure, comfortable, and well supervised.

About: I have taken care of dogs, my whole life whether they were my own or somebody else’s I absolutely love animals your animal will always be safe in my care and have the best time. I’m currently a stay at home mom so if I leave the house, I only leave to go to the grocery store or to grab the little one something to eat if they want it I have a huge backyard my house backs up against the woods. We are not close to the road at all. You’re dog would never be let outside alone my kids would run around in the backyard with them 💕

About: I’ve been a devoted dog owner for 10 years, and I’m passionate about both dogs and staying active. As a schoolteacher, I’m excited to continue doing what I love while earning extra income to help pay off my student loans and purchase supplies for my classroom. I can walk dogs Monday through Friday after 3:30 pm. If you’re running late and need someone to help out in a pinch, I'm happy to assist. I’m available on Saturday and Sunday to walk your furry friend three times a day, or more if needed. Our dog is incredibly spoiled and loved. Whenever I come home, she brings me her ball, and we play fetch before anything else. She is groomed monthly, walked several times daily, and receives constant attention. When we have salmon, we cook her a plain fillet, which she loves.

Upon my arrival home kitty was calm, very content , and had an extensive grooming! My home was exceptionally clean with the removal of litter and cat food cans. Jen met me before the sitting dates and she was extremely knowledgeable . She has tons of common sense--- You will not need to give her pages of instruction. She GETS IT ! In addition, my plants were watered during this 94 degree weather , mail was placed neatly inside, and trash cans were taken to the curb . Photos are sent to you at each visit. About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since my high school days. I love caring for and building relationships with dogs because they are truly like your best friend when they get to know and love you. Currently I work from home and for the most part make my own schedule every day. I am looking to build loving relationships with every pet that I care for so every owner can confidently put their trust in me to bring their furry friends back to me anytime they need me to take care of them. Me and my husband love dogs! We have a doggy park inside of our residence as well as a lovely community of people who walk their dogs everyday I’m sure your pet will meet some friends as we go out for walks and play at the park. Please let me know if you have any special food or any other request that you need me to accommodate to ensure that your furry baby is okay so I can be prepared as much as I can to welcome them into our home. I make my own schedule every day so i am pretty much free Monday through Sunday each week. I will make sure I update the time slots that are booked as clients start scheduling their appointments. All small and medium-sized dogs will be more than welcomed to roam freely around my living room kitchen area and are allowed to sit and lay on the couches as well. The floors are hardwood so even if they have an accident of pooping or peeing on the floor it will be alot easier for me to clean up on the hard floors than the carpeted areas. They will be allowed to come into my bedroom or any other room as long as I am in the room supervising them. I will take them outside to potty every 2 hours timed from the time they arrive until their scheduled time of leaving. You can feel free to bring their favorite toys they love to play with but I will also be purchasing brand new toys that I'm sure your dogs/cats will love to play with.

About: I’ve spent years caring for and training dogs, including raising and training four Australian Cattle Dogs—a breed known for its intelligence and high energy. Through that experience, I’ve learned how to read canine body language, reinforce good behaviors, and confidently handle dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I’ve also walked dogs for several of my mom’s clients throughout the Hockessin and Wilmington area. My focus is on providing safe, reliable, and personalized care while treating every dog as if they were my own. I’m currently home full-time, allowing me to provide attentive, personalized care throughout the day. Dogs in my care receive plenty of potty breaks, exercise, playtime, enrichment, affection, and supervision rather than being left alone for long periods. Your dog will be welcomed into a safe, loving home and treated like one of my own. I have a fully fenced 0.5-acre yard with plenty of room to run, play, and explore under supervision, as well as three friendly, well-socialized dogs for those who enjoy canine companionship. I also do my best to maintain each dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special instructions you provide. My goal is simple: for you to have peace of mind while you’re away and for your dog to feel safe, happy, and loved while they’re with me. I’m a Registered Nurse with a background in cardiac care and high-stress open-heart surgery, where being dependable, attentive, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented was essential every single day. After years of caring for my patients’ hearts, I’ve now been able to channel that same compassion into one of my greatest passions—dogs. I like to think I’ve gone from caring for my patients’ hearts to caring for my clients’ whole hearts—their dogs. ❤️🐾 My nursing background has shaped the way I care for animals. I take safety seriously, pay close attention to changes in behavior or well-being, follow instructions carefully, and understand the importance of medications and routines. Most importantly, I want owners to know they are leaving their dog with someone who is responsible, reliable, professional, and genuinely invested in their care.
