Love the photos! This was our first time using anyone for a pop in visit. This was totally last minute! Asked Paul and his fiance last night at 7pm to please help us, and without hesitation they came right over and met our boys. They did a pop in visit today and they were wonderful!!! Will definitely use them again :) They were great!!!! Thank you both so much !

Ashley was amazing with our two dogs! They can be very particular with meeting new people but they loved Ashley and she was so good with them. She followed all the instructions we left for her and was so communicative during her sitting. We would absolutely love to have Ashley look after our dogs again!

About: I’ve grown up in a home with dogs, and worked briefly in an animal shelter, caring for dogs from newborn puppies to seniors, responsible for their daily care and enrichment. My shifts are short consistent, allowing me to have a concrete schedule to work around to best meet the needs of all dogs and cats. As the seasons change, so do my hours, allowing me more availability for bookings. I have knowledge on animal enrichment and training, and know how to handle different pets with all different temperaments. I know how to crate dogs, walk them, and bond with all sorts of dogs and cats.

About: I have cared for and loved all range of animals from dogs, cats, and rodents! I have been caring for animals since I was 10 years old for family and friends. I can work with all dog breeds and sizes as I have personally owned and cared for all kinds from chihuahuas to cane corsos! Cats have always been a pet of mine as well and cared for multiple family members felines. I currently assist in fostering dogs and took up dog trainings for a few years. I’m currently working full time - however - I spend my evenings caring for my foster dog and in the weekends I will do drop ins for a family or neighbors hospice pet. I have a fenced in yard as well as a large variety of food for certain nutritional diets depending on the foster dog at that time. I ensure safe environments to ensure the animal is in the best care and comfortability.

About: Hi there! My name is Kelsie, and caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am. With over 15 years of both professional and personal pet care experience, I bring a deep understanding of animals of all kinds and the love they deserve. I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of pets, from dogs and cats to birds, fish, and small animals. In fact, my own home is full of furry (and feathery!) family members—I currently have four dogs, a bird, a fish, and a chinchilla. Because of this, I’m very familiar with different temperaments, routines, and care needs. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a senior who needs extra patience, or has medical needs that require special attention, you can trust that they’ll be in capable and compassionate hands. I have experience caring for pets of all ages and am attentive, reliable, and detail-oriented when it comes to following care instructions. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I treat every animal like they’re my own and strive to make sure they feel loved and secure while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I have a busy schedule but I always make time for my clients and their pets. And they always have my focus while I am spending time with them. My husband helps me with my services and between the two of us someone is almost always home! I believe that care should be tailored to each specific pet, so I do not have a set care plan until I meet you and your pets

Christine checked on our two dogs and three cats 3x/day for 9 days. She was always on time and spent an hour each time with them. She provided so many great pictures and messages that we looked forward to seeing while on vacation. She showed the pets lots of love and took such great care of them all. She took the time to also come twice to our house to meet our pets before we left. I highly recommend Christine. She treated our pets as if her own and we returned to happy pups and kitties!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 836 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Willowstone. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Willowstone. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 93% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
