About: While we are new to Rover, we are certainly no strangers to the world of caring for pets. We are a husband & wife team with a combined total of over 50 years of animal care experience. From bottle feeding babies, to senior pet care, to exotic animal husbandry, we have seen it all. Being pet parents ourselves, we have had several dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, & fish. Our American bulldog, Jack, our King Charles Cavalier, Castle, our Chow Chow mix, CBJ, and our Labrador/Husky mix, Crichton, have all left muddy paw prints on our hearts long after they've all gone. We currently have 6 cats, 3 of which are siblings we adopted a year ago and are loving all the chaos that they bring to our days. We can't forget our 2 ferrets, Mongo and Princess Donut- 2 of the sweetest little trouble makers we've ever had. From providing dog walks, play times, medicating, cleaning, cuddles, & kisses, we want to continue your dedication to helping your family pets live happier, healthier lives. Brian has worked as a manager in the pet retail industry for over 30 years, in a variety of settings. He has had cats and dogs his entire life, as well as keeping fresh and saltwater aquariums and building large vivariums for tree frogs. He has experience volunteering in wildlife rehab as well as handling reptiles and raptors at Zoo America in Hershey. He worked as a licensed pet sitter for many years in his twenties. Tanya has worked at several zoos and small animal veterinarian clinics. She started out as a veterinary technician, which she loved doing for 11 years. She then transitioned to being a veterinary receptionist in 2017, moving her focus from purely pet care to client care as well. Attending a variety of pet care continuing education every year and owning several pets needing daily, weekly, and monthly medications, Tanya has a wide skill range allowing her to help you keep your pet feeling their best. We both work full time, but with differing hours, allowing for availability morning, noon, & night. Brian is an early riser, so early morning walks or medication administration would be easy to accommodate. We are more than happy to follow whatever instructions you might have when visiting & caring for your pets in your home. We are open to having some exotics, or very low key dogs, in our own home for boarding. We do have six cats that run our house, so whoever is staying with us would need to get along with them.

About: I’m experienced in caring for large and giant-breed puppies and adult dogs, fear-reactive dogs, and senior dogs who benefit from calm, low-stress environments. I personally own Cane Corso's, so I’m comfortable handling the size, strength, and energy that come with powerful breeds. I also have a small Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix with fear-based aggression, and for the past 16 years, I’ve learned how to recognize his triggers, respect his boundaries, and manage his behavior with patience and consistency. That experience has taught me that every dog deserves to be understood as an individual and cared for in a way that helps them feel safe and secure. Experienced with resource guarding behaviors and knowledgeable in the proper use of martingale collars, prong collars, and e-collars. I’m comfortable following each owner’s established handling and management routine while providing calm, attentive care. For me, caring for dogs is about more than meeting their basic needs. It’s about earning their trust and making them feel safe, happy, and loved. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages, from playful puppies full of energy to senior companions who need patience, gentleness, and attentive care. Every dog is different, and I approach each one with the care and understanding they deserve. Caring for animals is already a regular part of my everyday life, so adding pet care to my schedule comes naturally. I’m accustomed to planning my day around mealtimes, exercise, potty breaks, medications, and quality time. I’m comfortable adjusting my routine for puppies needing extra attention, active dogs needing exercise, seniors requiring a slower pace, or pets who simply do best with calm, predictable care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine and creating a calm, low-stress environment. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any established training or handling routines.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life! I’m a pre-veterinary medicine major at the University of Delaware so I’ve been studying animal behavior, nutrition, and welfare for a year now. I work as an ER veterinary assistant back home and a large animal hospital when I’m at school so I’ve gathered over 800 hours dogsitting, volunteering, shadowing vet clinics, and working. I’m passionate about taking care of your pet. :) I’m living at college which gives me a very decent amount of availability! As long as you book with me 1-2 weeks in advance, I’m available almost everyday. When caring for your pets in your home, I will follow any specials instructions or routines you give regarding feeding, exercise, and medications. I always make sure all pets feel loved, comfortable, and safe with me. I can also check the home for any issues, water the plants if needed, bring in mail/packages, and of course I will send pictures and updates!!

About: I’ve had small and big dogs my whole life. Including other animals. I currently have 2 dogs, 4 cats, and a bearded dragon. I have worked in a dog daycare and boarding facilities, so I have experience handling cats and multiple dogs with different temperaments at once. I truly love animals of all kinds. My schedule is flexible and I am able to work with you for your pet sitting needs. anytime I get to spend with animals is welcomed! I show an excessive amount of attention and affection. About: I’m a Doodle Mom that has had dogs and cats since I was young. I’ve had the pleasure of house sitting for many dogs over the years and love making my dog’s day by introducing him to new friends! My 20lb mini goldendoodle goes everywhere with me, loves to play, and is socialized and very well behaved. I’ve taught him various commands, place, to rings bells to go out, and to use an auto ball launcher. I’m happy to work on these types of things with your pup too. Above all else, I’ll treat your fur baby like I treat mine - with lots of love! 💕 I’m in school four days a week with three day weekends; however, I am typically free during evenings and weekends to pop in or come stay and help care for your fur babies. Note: I can do 1:1s with dogs for walks and check-ins; however, for overnight stays I’ll have to bring my dog with me. I am happy to come to your place and let your dog out in your yard or take them around the neighborhood or to a nearby dog park. If you have a cat that frequents the outdoors, I am happy to meow or use their preferred car call to lure them in for food. Note: I can do 1:1s for walks and check-ins; however, for overnight stays I’ll have to bring my dog with me who is friendly with other dogs and cats.

About: I specialize with big dogs and elderly dogs. I'm a taller guy with a longer walking stride so larger dogs can get more for workout. My schedule is daily throughout the whole day. I normally like to plan 24 hours in advance but if my schedule is open I don't mind same day or last minute. Tuesday -Thursday from 11am-3pm I am not available I currently have no pets right now at my home I do have a rather large backyard. At the parents home, I do make sure that the pets are well fed and hydrated before leaving unless otherwise told. Disclaimer: If there issues at the home during my time at your residence and not disclosed before booking such as but not limited to: proper running water, working AC/HEAT, controlled pest infestation, power outage, violent pet(s), unsanitary conditions, health concerns without proper insurance you will liable for the vet bill and transportation cost or all day 24 hour care with a pet(s) that can not be alone for 3-4 hours than will incur with an extra inconvenience charge of $100 or more and/or cancellation with the help of Rovers support team.

About: 💗 If your pet needs someone who’s going to do more than just feed them and head out, I’m your girl!! I genuinely love getting to know each pets personality whether they’re the clingy type who follows you everywhere, the zoomers at night, or the pet who pretends they don’t like anyone (until they secretly do like my orange cat which is now super affectionate). 💗I have two cats of my own a boy orange cat who keeps me entertained every day and a girl black tuxedo cat who’s basically my little shadow. Having my own pets has taught me how much trust it takes to leave them with someone else, so I never take that responsibility lightly. I treat each pet I care for as I would my own. 💗 I’ve been pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors for around five years, caring for everything from fresh new born kittens/puppies to older cats/dogs who just want a quiet companion. I work as a travel home caregiver too, and actually a lot of my clients end up asking me if I can come back just to spend time with their pets when they’re away. I think animals can sense intentions from humans and want company for the ones who actually care and show them love. 💗 I’m a very patient person, so I don’t mind taking things at your pet’s pace. If they’re nervous, I’ll let them warm up to me. If they’re full of energy, I’ll match it. If you’re working on basic training or trying to keep them on a routine, I’m happy to help stay consistent while you’re gone. 💗 I know every pet is different, and that’s honestly my favorite part. Earning a pets trust and make to them feel comfortable is my goal. I want you as a pet parent to come home to a happy pet who was cared for and needs were attended as if you never left. Most mornings start with the gym or a run, then I meal prep before heading to work. I’m a Med Tech, GNA, and travel home caregiver, and I’m also studying Computer Science with a Nursing minor at Morgan State. On my days off, I’m usually reading with my book club, playing my PlayStation, or having a movie night. I keep a pretty balanced routine, so I always have the time and energy to give pets the attention, patience, and love they deserve. I look forward to pet sitting, it’s always the highlights of my week. I follow each pet’s routine closely, making sure they feel comfortable and secure in their own environment.
