I love spending time with animals and making sure they get all the love and cuddles they need! I work hybrid, so I'm typically available after working hours (around 5pm), but two days a week I can also have more flexibility while I'm at home. Weekends are also generally available! About: I've taken care of my family's dogs since young, One Samoyed, one Husky, and one Chihuahua. I was always the one spotting heath concerns and training them because if I didn't, no one would! Firm believer in positive reinforcement techniques and keeping all animals enriched. I love surrounding myself with and working around animals. They are very therapeutic to me so I make sure my day revolves around their care! Always more than willing to spend an entire day with an animal to make sure they're tended to. I make sure my dogs are able to go the bathrooms frequently as they need, and look for behavior cues in order to understand what they want. I also make sure that if two animals don't get along, they are separated and given ample distractions. I also make sure to give food at a certain time and get animals into a routine so that they aren't constantly eating and gain wait. Exercise and enrichment is also big to me.

About: I’ve taken care of almost every kind of dog since I was young! I’ve grown up with a golden retriever, an Australian Shepard, and a mini papillon! At most I got into the office twice a week so I am very flexible! I live in apartment building that allows pets, has a lounge area and green space all around building. Around the building is the town in Mineola and Garden City so great for walking dogs and super dog friendly area! Super safe with young working people so walking the dog around the town and grass will be no problem. If the dog must stay at my apartment we have lots of space so the dog will have enough space to roam and feel comfortable.

Megan M.
“I’ve trusted Megan McCaffrey to care for my two dogs—a lively white shepherd and a sensitive, selective pitbull mix—and she’s been nothing short of amazing. Both girls have very different needs, and Megan handles them with grace, patience, and genuine affection. She keeps my shepherd active and engaged while offering calm, reassuring care to my pit mix, who’s often anxious around new people and just in general. Megan’s ability to read their moods and respond with the right energy is something I deeply value. My dogs adore her, and I always feel at ease knowing they’re in her care. She is also fantastic with her own two high maintenance cats! Megan is reliable, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful.
