About: I have owned dogs from a very young age on and I worked at a dog kennel for 5 years! I have experience in potty training, training puppies, oral medication, and more! I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and have owned both small and large dogs. I currently work from home M-F 9:30-5:30 pm (as well as most Saturday’s)! I am able to give your pet the attention required so we can have the best stay together! Your pet does not need to be crate trained, but I do ask that they are okay in a home for max of 2-3 hours if I need to leave in the evening for errands. If you have a puppy or special requirements, just let me know ahead of time!🩷 I live in a townhome directly next to our dog park! I am able to take your pet on daily walks as well as play with them to get out any energy. I can exercise your dog as much or as little as requested! I do have one dog in the home, Haven, who does amazing with all dogs. If you have a dog with aggressive tendencies, I do ask we discuss it before booking! I want to ensure my dog’s safety as well as yours!

“Lane is great with our dogs and so sweet to accommodate a last minute booking when we unexpectedly couldn’t take our dogs with us on a short trip. Our dogs love running and playing with his dogs in their large fenced shady back yard and I love that they are treated like one of the family at Lanes. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I have always had a dog since the age of 5. I have trained and taken care of dogs basically my whole life! About: I love animals! I was raised around animals all of my life. My parents had a hobby farm, complete with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, cows, emu's, sheep, ducks, pigs, etc. We bred and raised dogs of all kinds: huskies, dalmatians, chihuahuas, beagles, labs, golden retrievers, pugs, and so on. Since my childhood, I've helped feed, care for, and even administer medicine to our animals. I moved to Lexington KY in the Fall of 2010 and decided to take care of others' furry friends while they're away. I started and ran my own dog walking and pet sitting business for 7 years. I ended up closing down to do some traveling. But I sure miss getting out and spending time with my furry friends. Whether you're at work, on vacation, or just out for the day, it will be my Joy to take care of your pets. From midday walks and home visits, to puppy breaks and house sittings, I'll treat your pet as my own, and make sure they get plenty of lovin'. “Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you.” That’s what I try to live by. And I’ll bring that ethos with me everyday to Caring for your seeet fur baby or babies.

My commitment to fostering strong bonds and creating positive, memorable interactions sets me apart as a compassionate and trusted caregiver at Rover. I am retired and looking for walking activities to keep me busy with the things I enjoy the most, PETS!! I love being around them as much as possible. When caring for pets in my client's home, I prioritize their comfort, well-being, and adherence to any specific routines or instructions provided by the owner. Here’s how I approach different pet care services: Dog Sitting: Daily Routine: I maintain the dog's regular feeding schedule, ensuring they have access to fresh water at all times. Exercise and Play: I engage the dog in activities they enjoy, such as walks, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep them active and happy. Comfort: I provide cozy resting areas and ensure the environment is safe and secure. Medication: If required, I administer medications according to the owner's instructions. Dog Walking: Safety First: Before the walk, I check equipment like leashes and harnesses to ensure they are secure. Exploration: I take dogs on stimulating walks in safe areas, allowing them to explore and enjoy their surroundings. Hydration: I bring water for hydration, especially during warmer weather. Positive Reinforcement: I use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior during walks.

“Our dog was extremely comfortable rather quickly. She seemed to do well. Aimee responded quickly and was great.”
