Brooklyn did a fantastic job walking our two dogs. Even when they pulled at the leash and jumped on her, she responded well to their poor behavior and didn't even complain. Definitely plan on leaving a tip.

About: Growing up in Michigan, I have had ample experience with caring for pets (not just dogs, but goats, cats and chickens too!). Since earlier childhood, I have had dogs including and most recently had two beautiful and hilarious bulldogs. I have experience with dog sitting and dog walking for friends and family back in Michigan. I have had experience with Rover as me and my sister for two years pet sat for several families in the Chicago area. I currently work during the week but am home in the early afternoon. I'm typically home all weekend which lends itself to being able to give dogs the attention, cuddles and care they need. I live in an apartment complex that has a dog park and personally love to walk, therefore can walk as much as your pet needs.

About: What sets me apart is my experience with high-energy, intelligent breeds and my calm, reliable care style. I’ve spent years working with German Shorthaired Pointers, Brittany Spaniels, and Border Collie/Aussie mixes—so I understand the mental and physical stimulation these dogs need to stay balanced and happy. I tailor every stay to fit your dog’s needs, whether it’s active play, structured walks, puzzle games, or just a calm, comforting environment. I’m also confident caring for senior dogs and administering medications, and I prioritize consistency to keep your pup feeling secure and loved. With me, your dog isn’t just watched—they’re truly cared for. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life—it’s not something I squeeze in, it’s something I prioritize. I plan my day around the dogs in my care, making sure they get the attention, exercise, and companionship they need to feel secure and happy. Whether it’s early morning walks, playtime in the yard, or quiet evenings with snuggles and routine care, I’m fully present and hands-on. Because I work from home (or have a flexible schedule—adjust as needed), I’m able to give pets consistent, all-day attention. I love creating a routine that mirrors their home life as much as possible to keep things low-stress and familiar. In clients’ homes, I’m respectful of their space and routines. I keep things as close to the dog’s normal schedule as possible, from feeding and walks to bedtime routines. I always send updates and photos so you feel connected and confident that your dog is happy and well cared for. My priority is building trust—with both you and your pet—so every stay feels smooth, stress-free, and full of tail wags.

About: I have had many different kinds of pets throughout my childhood up into my young adulthood , I have had many years of experience of taking care of them and their individual needs along with caring for family friends pets as well and pet sitting when needed!! I am a full time college student ,however I do my classes online and only work part time in retail. Leaving plenty of time for me to give your fur babies the care and attention as if I were their owner! I am off on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s as of now so that is my only availability for boarding at the moment. I would feel more comfortable if I was supplied with a leash to take your dogs out for breaks , unless they are trained , my yard is not fenced in and would hate if anything were to happen.

I prioritize safety, comfort, and personalized attention, ensuring each furry client receives nurturing and enriching experiences. My commitment to fostering strong bonds and creating positive, memorable interactions sets me apart as a compassionate and trusted caregiver at Rover. I am retired and looking for walking activities to keep me busy with the things I enjoy the most, PETS!! I love being around them as much as possible. When caring for pets in my client's home, I prioritize their comfort, well-being, and adherence to any specific routines or instructions provided by the owner. Here’s how I approach different pet care services: Dog Sitting: Daily Routine: I maintain the dog's regular feeding schedule, ensuring they have access to fresh water at all times. About: **Please note I am disabled and hard of hearing. I will always prefer texts over phone calls. **Check out what your babies get up to and the pictures/videos I didn’t end up sending on our Facebook or Instagram page, Zig Zag Wag pet care! I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, horses and livestock, rodents and reptiles, and everything from basic grooming including nail trims and baths to basic behavior training. (See safety section for further details) I have experience with basic first aid. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)
