About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with dogs and cats (and birds and turtles and fish) as a child, and as an adult I have raised my own from puppyhood/kittenhood through their senior years. I am comfortable with puppy potty training, litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten/puppy energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. (I can even do baths with the right set-up, and advanced notice.) I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. You can rely on me to follow detailed instructions, keep you updated, and make sure they are as happy and well-cared-for as can be while you are away.

Our evenings are calm and cozy, ending with soft paw nudges for bedtime. To give you peace of mind, I am happy to send frequent photo and video updates throughout the day so you can see how much fun they are having. For walks, I utilize multiple leashes and harnesses to ensure every outing is secure and controlled. About: I’ve had animals, including dogs, my whole life. I’ve worked at a vet office; I was the one they always called to handle the big dogs. I’ve helped deliver puppies, trimmed nails, groomed, bathed, and administered meds. I’m also a great cuddler and love puppy hugs and kisses 😘 I work part time and have control of my schedule so I’ve got plenty of time to give your pets the best care. Your pets come first. About: I love pets more than most people but no time for one full-time myself. I love to love and give all the time and attention to the pets of others. It's one of the greatest joys in life. I currently only work part-time because I have my kiddo every other week and love to make sure I don't miss out on the younger years. I want a pet so bad, but just don't have time to have one full time myself. I would take my neighbors dog most weeks when he'd go out of town to care for him, and sadly moved away and would love to spend my free time loving on the pets of others. If a pet is child friendly, then yes to taking them when I have my kiddo. If not, I am child free every other week. I live in a safe and clean home and treat them as my own. I love to go outside, so frequent walks and restroom breaks are no problem for me. I live in a dog friendly area for walks and to use the restroom, so I can ensure your pet gets the love and care they need.

About: Hi! My name is Liv and I adore taking care of pets. I have had experience with all sizes of dogs, but I also love cats! I am currently available any day and any time besides Thursdays. I try to encourage play and interaction without making the animal feel trapped or cornered. Before leaving a client's home, I double-check that the animals are taken care of, the stove is off, and the doors are locked.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of pets since I was a child. I have experience giving oral medicine as well as shots. I will consistently walk, play, feed them as well as take care of any pet as if it were my own. :) I am currently working part time but am open to nearly any time as I can work around that schedule to fit you and your pups needs. I have a fenced yard and my friendly pup will help entertain. Can kennel if wanted or keep my pup to his room, otherwise the fur barbies will be outside playing or inside with me and my fiance.

I have been working with clients both on and off Rover for more than 10 years. Since I work evenings I prioritize spending time with and exercising your animals during the day so they can rest for the few hours I’m gone. I take into consideration you and your pets routines to create a schedule and environment we’ll all feel safe in. I will take dogs on hikes or neighborhood walks but will always keep a dog on leash unless the owner is comfortable and the dog has great recall. I will not take dogs to the dog park even if they can go with their owners just as a safety precaution. I prioritize frequent communication so an owner can feel assured their pet is being taken care of in the way they feel is best.

About: I have compassion and am understanding for animals that is hard to put in to words. I carry empathy towards all living things. I have had several dogs of my own and know how much it means to have someone you can rely on to care for them when you’re away. I am currently at home full time and don’t have plans on that changing anytime soon. I am able to work around your schedule and as needed. I have a few appointments a week but they are only one hour at a time. The rest of my time is free. I tend to take my two dogs to the park every day to play ball or run around (depending on weather sometimes). I would love to bring yours along as well. My dogs are very friendly and know how to give your pets their own space when needed. Please keep in mind that if you need a house/pet sitter, my two dogs would have to come with me as I am single and don’t have anyone to care for them. They are great with other dogs and cats. Fully potty chained. No chewing. Keeping safe distance from other animals, always leashed, never left at home alone, reassurance to help them feel safe in the new environment, treats, nap.

About: *In the Summer if you want me to Pet Sit for you, be willing to accommodate my Husky. He is well trained, tears up nothing, is completely potty trained, gets along with dogs and cats. He may look scary at first but grows on you quick, once you learn he won't hurt you. He has helped me teach other dogs who don't like new dogs how to befriend a stranger. He can easily stay in a room separate from your pets, even a bathroom, he isn't picky, he just likes A/C. I never leave him alone with pets, even if they get along. I had actually trained him to be my Service Dog. I have been a Wag Walker for 3 going on 4 weeks now, and have already been ranked Top Caregiver and in High Demand...with 37 (5 Star Reviews) so far! (Update: Over 100 Walks and 3 Sittings as of 12/28/24) From Camas to Lake Oswego and Aurora, I have been in some wealthy homes all alone, so I can assure you I'm as Trustworthy as they come :-) Google says Wag is more for Walking and Rover is more for Sitting, so that's why I'm here too now. I'm looking to add Sitting to my Schedule so I can afford to upgrade to a House and start Boarding. (Update: I just got a room in a house in West Linn, I may be able to Board in the near future). P.S. I wear a Body Cam at all times for everyone's safety. I'm a Full-Time Walker/Trainer already, I'm looking to add Sitting to my Schedule so I can afford to upgrade to a house and start Boarding as well :-) Fur Babies won't be left alone longer than 4 hours, 2 hours if requested. I wear a Body Cam at all times for everyone's safety, but I have also already been in many wealthy homes all alone; from Camas, West Linn and Lake Oswego to Aurora. I assure you I'm as Honest and Trustworthy as they come. As far as taking care of your Fur Babies, I will treat them like my own...but with even more caution because I'm responsible for someone else's lol.
