About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with dogs and cats (and birds and turtles and fish) as a child, and as an adult I have raised my own from puppyhood/kittenhood through their senior years. I am comfortable with puppy potty training, litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten/puppy energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. (I can even do baths with the right set-up, and advanced notice.) I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. You can rely on me to follow detailed instructions, keep you updated, and make sure they are as happy and well-cared-for as can be while you are away.

About: I've worked with dogs, cats, chickens, horses, ducks, quail, ect. In the past and genuinely enjoying spending time with animals. I can provide safe, comfortable, and reliable pet care for you while you are away. I've done in home pet sitting, drop in care, and dog walking for family, friends, neighbors, and others in the community. I have experience with puppies, senior animals, dogs with behavioral issues, and intact animals. I currently work part time as a babysitter so my schedule is pretty open. I usually make my schedule in advance, but if I have availability I'm happy to do last minute care. I have two friendly dogs who would love to come along to house sitting jobs if you are comfortable. I have good knowledge and understanding of animal CPR and first aid.

I’ve helped deliver puppies, trimmed nails, groomed, bathed, and administered meds. She followed our overly complicated feeding instructions and sent pictures of them eating and a few of them hanging out. One of the weekend days she definitely fed them all breakfast closer to lunchtime, but I still felt like they were in good hands, and in her defense I had expressed some flexibility in their feeding time. She also went out of her way to set our cat camera back up after the cats knocked it over so we could continue spying on one of their favorite hangout spots. About: I have compassion and am understanding for animals that is hard to put in to words. I carry empathy towards all living things. I have had several dogs of my own and know how much it means to have someone you can rely on to care for them when you’re away. I am currently at home full time and don’t have plans on that changing anytime soon. I am able to work around your schedule and as needed. I have a few appointments a week but they are only one hour at a time. The rest of my time is free. I tend to take my two dogs to the park every day to play ball or run around (depending on weather sometimes). I would love to bring yours along as well. My dogs are very friendly and know how to give your pets their own space when needed. Please keep in mind that if you need a house/pet sitter, my two dogs would have to come with me as I am single and don’t have anyone to care for them. They are great with other dogs and cats. Fully potty chained. No chewing. Keeping safe distance from other animals, always leashed, never left at home alone, reassurance to help them feel safe in the new environment, treats, nap.

I try to encourage play and interaction without making the animal feel trapped or cornered. Before leaving a client's home, I double-check that the animals are taken care of, the stove is off, and the doors are locked.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of pets since I was a child. I have experience giving oral medicine as well as shots. I will consistently walk, play, feed them as well as take care of any pet as if it were my own. :) I am currently working part time but am open to nearly any time as I can work around that schedule to fit you and your pups needs. I have a fenced yard and my friendly pup will help entertain. Can kennel if wanted or keep my pup to his room, otherwise the fur barbies will be outside playing or inside with me and my fiance.

About: I have taken care of animals for the last 12 years. I've done drop ins, overnights, and day sitting. I love meeting new furry friends. I have a lot of experience taking in sickly animals and finding homes for them. When your animals are in my care they will get love, affection, and top notch sitting! Not to mention all the Pets they could ask for! I also have a new tag along! My baby girl is 8 months old and will tag along with me with walks and visits(if allowed). We love to go for walks and get out into nature, so your pup will have tons of fun with us. I live on a 13 acre lot so there's lots of room for your fuzzy friends to play. Metzler Park and Campground is about a 5 minute drive away. I am currently a stay at home mom with a toddler. I have all the time to hang out with your pup! We will give unconditional attention and love to any animal that comes into our home. Since it is summer I would love to take your pup on a walk near the few parks we have in the area or let them roam my 13 acre lot with supervision. Being so close to Mt.hood national forest, Metzler Park and Campground and other trails you can trust that your pups going to get the exercise they love.

About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life, big and small. I love taking the dogs to the river and park. I have experience will all the farm animals as well, we own chickens, goats, and horses. I love being outdoors and I’ve always been an animal lover. I am a personal trainer at a private gym in Oregon city. I am typically at work for 1-3 hours per day in the late mornings. I have a large fenced backyard for the pets and I tend to take daily walks or hikes to release the pets energy. Potty breaks are every few hours. A potty trained and house trained animal is a necessity. Lots of playing and snuggles.
