What sets me apart is my experience with specialized care; I currently look after a special-needs cat, which includes performing daily eye treatments. My daily routine is entirely structured around my pets. We start the day at a sharp 8:00 AM for morning breakfast and plenty of outside time. Because I work from home with a flexible schedule, your pet will receive constant companionship, frequent potty breaks, and interactive play throughout the day. Our evenings are calm and cozy, ending with soft paw nudges for bedtime. Whether your pet needs a strict medication schedule or just someone to be there for afternoon naps, I have the time and dedication to make them feel right at home. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I provide a secure environment with a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play. To give you peace of mind, I am happy to send frequent photo and video updates throughout the day so you can see how much fun they are having. For walks, I utilize multiple leashes and harnesses to ensure every outing is secure and controlled. Whether in my home or yours, I maintain a vigilant eye and follow all specific care instructions to keep your furry family member happy and safe.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals of all sizes all my life. I can take your pals for walks, jogs, runs or even hikes! While always keeping safety in mind. I currently have a completely open schedule to walk and hangout with your furry friends. I do have a dog of my own that I also take out for walks throughout the day. I will always be respectful of your home when talking your dog or dogs out. And will keep not only mine but your dogs safety as a top priority. I am more than happy to cater to your dogs needs.

About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with dogs and cats (and birds and turtles and fish) as a child, and as an adult I have raised my own from puppyhood/kittenhood through their senior years. I am comfortable with puppy potty training, litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten/puppy energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. (I can even do baths with the right set-up, and advanced notice.) I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. You can rely on me to follow detailed instructions, keep you updated, and make sure they are as happy and well-cared-for as can be while you are away.

About: I’m a mature lady with a can do attitude. We have had dogs and cats (and a variety of other critters) in our home through the decades. Nothing better than bringing your dog along for that countryside hike/trail walk. At one with nature. I do have the attitude that I’m the boss on the walk and our dogs are part of the pack. I like it best when our dogs have opportunity to be off leash. Not that will happen with your dog unless we find a dedicated off leash park and permission from you. I offer dog walking and pet visits in your home and boarding at my home BOARDING. I require to use a crate at times I’m gone as I live with my disabled adult daughter and care staff. I don’t mind the weather unless it is exceptionally hot or cold for your pet. I’ve got all weather gear! I am available most weekdays from 8am-ish (depending on travel time). I can do some weekend walks depending on length of notice. (my other job is a carer to a person with disabilities) I have a fenced in yard). Crating is an option should any fur baby feel the need to 'get away'. (Our own dog passed over the rainbow bridge in May) I require a meet and greet with new clients prior to accepting a new client. I just want to make sure we’re a good fit all around. This is best done 48-72 hours prior to any booking. A boarding client gets at least two walks a day as well as plenty of yard time if they desire. We have a good sized fenced yard. If I’m gone, your dog will be crated for a short while in a comfy spot. I consider crates as a sanctuary/ a place of safety for your fur baby. I am returning to Rover after some medical issues that needed my full attention. I am now easing back into care services. I am available for the odd walk. I am NOT available for regular daily/weekly scheduled walks. Dog care is part of my regular activities which include yoga, tai chi, volunteer work and care for my adult daughter. Pets in my care enjoy plenty of outdoor time and typically two walks in the daylight hours. They may accompany me on my own appointments when they are pet friendly. I prefer only one pet at a time, but will consider two from same family.

About: I’ve had animals, including dogs, my whole life. I’ve worked at a vet office; I was the one they always called to handle the big dogs. I’ve helped deliver puppies, trimmed nails, groomed, bathed, and administered meds. I’m also a great cuddler and love puppy hugs and kisses 😘 I work part time and have control of my schedule so I’ve got plenty of time to give your pets the best care. Your pets come first. I stay at people’s homes and follow all their instructions and routines as best I can. I love pet cuddles and try to make them feel loved and taken care of while their humans are away. 💜

About: I love pets more than most people but no time for one full-time myself. I love to love and give all the time and attention to the pets of others. It's one of the greatest joys in life. I currently only work part-time because I have my kiddo every other week and love to make sure I don't miss out on the younger years. I want a pet so bad, but just don't have time to have one full time myself. I would take my neighbors dog most weeks when he'd go out of town to care for him, and sadly moved away and would love to spend my free time loving on the pets of others. If a pet is child friendly, then yes to taking them when I have my kiddo. If not, I am child free every other week. I live in a safe and clean home and treat them as my own. I love to go outside, so frequent walks and restroom breaks are no problem for me. I live in a dog friendly area for walks and to use the restroom, so I can ensure your pet gets the love and care they need.

About: Please Note that I am not currently watching any pets that eat raw food due to the risk of pathogens including h5n1. This includes raw food, freeze dried raw, raw coated kibble, raw toppers, raw egg, and raw milk. I've worked with dogs, cats, chickens, horses, ducks, quail, ect. In the past and genuinely enjoying spending time with animals. I can provide safe, comfortable, and reliable pet care for you while you are away. I've done in home pet sitting, drop in care, and dog walking for family, friends, neighbors, and others in the community. I have experience with puppies, senior animals, dogs with behavioral issues, and intact animals. I currently work part time as a babysitter so my schedule is pretty open. I usually make my schedule in advance, but if I have availability I'm happy to do last minute care. I have two friendly dogs who would love to come along to house sitting jobs if you are comfortable. I have good knowledge and understanding of animal CPR and first aid.

She followed our overly complicated feeding instructions and sent pictures of them eating and a few of them hanging out. One of the weekend days she definitely fed them all breakfast closer to lunchtime, but I still felt like they were in good hands, and in her defense I had expressed some flexibility in their feeding time. She also went out of her way to set our cat camera back up after the cats knocked it over so we could continue spying on one of their favorite hangout spots. Cats were happy and healthy when I got back.”

About: I love dogs. My husband and I are empty nesters. We have a labradoodle and no cats. I work remotely at home and in the veterinary field. I currently work full time but have a home office and work from my home and have a flexible schedule. Your dog will have lots of attention. I have a large fenced in yard. We have a 9 year old neutered male Labradoodle, Charlie. Lots of dog toys and treats to share.

About: I have taken care of 4 dogs at once. 3 big, 1 small. They required a lot of attention. I also had to give medication to 2 of the dogs. I enjoy spending time with dogs and fitting to their needs I have school during the weekdays from 8-9 am to 2 or 3. I am able to spent the night at peoples houses and change my schedules to fit the dogs needs. I am able to do anything that fits the owners needs. I make sure to watch the dogs often and give them attention they need.
