We were coming from out of town and headed to the beach but visited family for a couple days who doesn’t like dogs in the house, so we needed to find a place for our dog for a couple days. Nadine sent pictures everyday to let us know how Milly is doing. She has an amazing backyard and her pets were very friendly with her. Milly isn’t crate trained and Nadine was more than willing to accommodate that and let her sleep in the bed. Will definitely use her again when we come to town!”

“Blessed finally someone I can trust Eileen and Rich found me on Rover. They were looking for a sitter for there pup as their beloved long time sitter had moved. Rich came to my place with piglet for meet and greet with my 3 smalls . He shared with me how much anxiety he was having trying to find the exact right fit for piglet. I have 3 dogs. Doyle is my fear dog (He has come ALONG ways in 5 short years. He immediately ran up to Rich and put his feet on his legs so he could pet him. They watched the pack for me one day and it was the first time I had ever left Doyle with anyone and even tho I was a little nervous that Doyle would try to escape to come find me I knew they would be watching him like a hawk. Just a short time later I received a photo from Eileen comfy on the couch with all the dogs (even Doyle!) Laying on her and snuggling. About: I’ve been rescuing animals for over 22 years-I’ve cared for big, slobbery Rottweilers to tiny, judgmental cats, fish who pretend not to notice me, and guinea pigs that somehow eat like linebackers. I’ve handled rabbits with attitude, a special needs Yorkie who runs the house, and our Texas rescue Lucy—who I’m pretty sure thinks she rescued me. I have a designated bedroom with a ring camera just for my furry friends! We can keep the pets isolated in their own space the entire time, or they can have free roaming of the house. Options for those pets who need less sensory and more quiet and privacy. I work full-time at a hospital Monday through Friday, so my availability for more hands-on, all-day care is best on weekends. During the week, I’m still happy to offer overnight stays, I just like to mention that-because on weekdays, there may be up to an eight-hour stretch without potty breaks while I’m at work. I live in a fantastic walking neighborhood and can happily meet you in yours or bring them to mine. Can never get too much exercise in! Plus, my big fully fenced in yard is at their disposal.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11, from pet-sitting friends dogs and cats, to helping out at the shelter, though my pride and joy is my shelter pup Maggie, who I had the pleasure of training, and had been my buddy for 13 years. She was the absolute best, and I miss her so so much. Since Maggie passed, I now have the pleasure of raising and training yet another shelter pup, who is a great dog with lots of spunk. About: I have compassion and am understanding for animals that is hard to put in to words. I carry empathy towards all living things. I have had several dogs of my own and know how much it means to have someone you can rely on to care for them when you’re away. I am currently at home full time and don’t have plans on that changing anytime soon. I am able to work around your schedule and as needed. I have a few appointments a week but they are only one hour at a time. The rest of my time is free. I tend to take my two dogs to the park every day to play ball or run around (depending on weather sometimes). I would love to bring yours along as well. My dogs are very friendly and know how to give your pets their own space when needed. Please keep in mind that if you need a house/pet sitter, my two dogs would have to come with me as I am single and don’t have anyone to care for them. They are great with other dogs and cats. Fully potty chained. No chewing. Keeping safe distance from other animals, always leashed, never left at home alone, reassurance to help them feel safe in the new environment, treats, nap.

“Can I give more than 5 stars??? First time taking our dog, Bobby Lee, to a sitter and we couldn’t possibly be any happier…and Bobby Lee too! Elizabeth kept us updated daily on how he was doing, sent pictures, and communicated and a professional and prompt manner. Elizabeth was great with Bobby Lee, even teaching him some new tricks (really it was manners). She took great care of him as if he belonged to her. We are very grateful we found Elizabeth and will continue to use her to care for Bobby Lee whenever we are out of town.”

“I would highly recommend Steve for caring for your pets. Our family went on a last minute trip and lucked out with finding Steve to watch our dog Arlo. We set up a meet and greet beforehand and he and his wife were so kind and hospitable. Arlo immediately felt at home. I received many photos and updates while we were away, and he was spoiled and loved on every moment with them! He didn’t want to leave when it was time to say goodbye. The best part is that we made some wonderful new friends and knew that Arlo was in good hands!”
