About: I grew up with dogs (mostly German shepherds with the golden retriever or terrier thrown in there). My husband is not a dog person, but I love them so I'm hoping to be able to get my dog fix by helping people who find themselves away from their fur babies for extended periods. I will play with and love on your dog while they enjoy the comfort of being in a familiar environment. I will give your dog the same level of care that I would expect for my own child. My kids are getting more independent, leaving me with lots of time during the day to play with your pups! I am an avid runner and would love to give your fur babies lots of love and exercise. About: I’ve been around animals for pretty much my entire life! My family got our first dog, a Chihuahua puppy, when I was about 3 or 4, and I got my first cat when I was 7. Since then, I’ve helped care for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, along with fish, birds, rodents, and reptiles. I currently have a medium-sized mixed breed dog, four cats, and a bearded dragon of my own. I have experience with puppies, high-energy dogs, senior pets, and pets that require medication or special diets. I’m comfortable with basic commands like sit and stay, cleaning litter boxes and accidents, feeding reptiles and fish, and following detailed care instructions. I’m also happy to provide plenty of exercise, whether that means playing fetch, going on a longer walk, or even taking an active dog on a short run. What really sets me apart is how seriously I take caring for someone else’s pet. I’m very detail-oriented and will follow your instructions closely, and I’m happy to send plenty of pictures and updates while you’re away. I truly see pets as part of the family, and I’ll treat yours with the same love, attention, and care that I give my own. Pet care is already a big part of my everyday routine since I have a dog, four cats, and a bearded dragon of my own. I’m used to planning my day around feeding, walks, playtime, litter boxes, and making sure everyone gets the attention they need. My schedule also gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week for walks and drop-in visits. I’m happy to work with each pet’s normal routine as much as possible, whether that means a certain feeding time, extra potty breaks, longer walks, or just some extra playtime and cuddles. I will care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, where they can stay in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I’ll closely follow any instructions you provide for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and any other special needs. I’m also happy to spend time playing, cuddling, or simply keeping your pet company depending on their personality and what makes them comfortable. I’ll treat both your pets and your home with respect, clean up after them, and make sure everything is secure before I leave. I’ll also send pictures and updates so you can see how your pets are doing while you’re away!

Housesitting: I’m being hired to keep the critter(s) company, and that’s what I do. Nana comes to visit and keeping the house safe and the animal(s) safe and happy is my primary duty. My habit is to bring my own supplies, so when you get home, everything is how you left it. I have a ukulele and I sing familiar covers, so I’ll mention it now in case the neighbors mention something about it. (I have yet to have a dog howl as I sang, though the huskies were very talkative.) Drop-In: Depending on our discussion during the Meet & Greet, I will swing by your house according to the schedule we’ve set up. I will make sure the water is fresh and the food bowl has plenty of food. (My job is to make sure the animal(s) know they are being cared for and that they don’t have to stress about whether or not they will starve to death - I’m thinking of cats especially here who see the bottom of the food bowl and start to panic. Not on my watch!) Walk: I’ll be at your house at the time(s) we’ve discussed, put on the collar and leash, and set out on the adventure. My habit is to sing as I walk so that any other critter has a chance to get out of sight - a lesson learned by startling a skunk. It is important that I know if the neighborhood is friendly or if folks keep to themselves. Do(es) the dog(s) visit friends on the trail? or should I keep them on their own?

About: I have taken care of many rescues and have housed many dogs and cats. I have always been the go to when it comes to watching people’s pets! I also enjoy long walks to the park! I am currently on break from school, and I only work part time in my day job! I am free in the mornings and at nights to assist with animal care! I can stay all day on the weekends and come see them for an early morning walk and be back by 4pm for another walk and some cuddles! I have three senior dogs! They all have arthritis and are very old so I’m not able to take them out for long walks, but I do push them in a wagon so they can get fresh air! One of my senior citizens is blind and deaf so having another dog around him might spook him, but I can watch the home and pet for you!😆❤️
