About: I grew up in a small town in Northern Michigan where animals weren't just pets, they were part of everyday life. Surrounded by dogs, cats, and farm animals from a young age, I developed a natural comfort and respect for animals that only comes from experience. Growing up with American Bulldogs taught me early that strong, high energy dogs require patience and confidence, but mostly just a whole lot of love. Starting in middle school, family and friends began trusting me with their pets, and through that I've learned there's no adventure or day that isn't better with a furry friend by your side. My most hands on experience includes caring for three dogs at once with very different needs: a yellow Lab puppy with endless energy, a senior black Lab requiring mobility assistance, and a spirited Shih Tzu who was unaware of her age and physical limitations. Managing all three taught me how to balance high energy, gentle handling, and individual attention all under one roof. As an online student also working toward my Pilates certification this summer, my schedule is accommodative in all the right ways. I live on the Boulder Hill and are largely home during the day, which means I can assist your pets in a timely manner. I share a home with two other animal loving roommates and a rescue cat who mostly keeps to herself. None of my animals currently live with me, which means your animal has my full attention! My backyard is fully fenced though I enjoy accompanying your pet outside regardless to get fresh air myself. I've accommodated pets of all leisure and am happy to follow the rules you have in place. I drive a reliable truck and have the time, flexibility, and energy to give your pet the attention they actually deserve. When visiting a client's home, all of that still applies! I take your space, your routines, and your trust seriously, and having worked professionally as a house cleaner, leaving things tidy and respected is just how I operate.

About: We are a married couple who have experience raising 3 active German Shorthair Pointers. I’m a teacher and my husband, James, works his IT job remote which allows us to have flexibility with letting dogs out and walking at various times of the day. We have experience with administering medication to dogs and caring for senior dogs as well. We love exploring the outdoors while camping and fishing. You can catch us on the water any chance we get. We also love spending time at home with our fur babies, Striker and Daisy. They keep us on our toes and make life fun! I’m a teacher and my husband works his job remote which allows us to have flexibility with letting dogs out and walking at various times of the day. I have availability all days and times during summer months and after 4:00 pm during the school year. James has more flexibility and is available to help any day and most times. We provide drop in services and dog walking. Our dogs are friendly but we’d leave them at home and focus on your pups while you need us. I am allergic to cats so prefer homes without just to be on the safe side.

About: I have helped owners with dog sitting/walking in the Traverse City area. I've had my dog and cat business for 5+ years and I spend my time with special dogs and cats during the day, overnights or on weekends. I cared for my two dogs until they passed away. Now I have time to devote to other pets who need my support. I have time in my life to care for your lovely dogs, walking them during the week and watching them for overnights on the weekends As my yard is not fenced in, I prefer to go to clients home to help out. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have hands on experience for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities! Growing up, my mom trained dogs professionally, which gave me early experience to dog behavior and proper pet care. Throughout high school, I regularly helped care for up to 10 dogs at a time, assisting with daily routines, exercise, feeding, and general care. I also grew up with a cat, and have always loved spending time with cats just as much as dogs. I understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort level, and I strive to make them feel safe and comfortable in yalls home. During college, I worked as a nanny for a family and was responsible for walking and caring for their two Great Danes. This experience gave me great confidence in handling larger breeds, and reminded me how important it is to be consistent and reliable. I bring responsibility, attention to detail, and genuine care to every pet I work with. Whether it’s a walk, a drop in visit, or overnight care, I will treat your pet just like family and provide you with updates, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8AM-5PM at the Community Mental Health in downtown Traverse City, but have some flexibility. I am available for dog walks and drop in visits for an hour any time between 12PM-2PM during the week. I am available from 5:30PM-11 PM Monday-Friday, and have open availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Your pets safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with a beloved family member is a big decision, and I take it seriously. When caring for pets in their own home, I strive to keep their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether that means feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication routines, or just spending quality time together, I know that consistency helps pets feel secure and comfortable while their parents are away. I am always respectful of clients’ homes and will always follow care instructions carefully. I pay close attention to detail, keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets, and communicate promptly if any concerns arise. My goal is to give you and your pet a stress free experience and peace of mind that comes from knowing they are being care for by someone dependable, attentive, and genuinely invested in their wellbeing. Every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care.

About: Coming from a background of puppy breeders, I have more then enough knowledge in not just caring for pets but understanding them as well. I have a genuine love for all animals, and have grown up with dogs, cats, farm animals and everything in between. Animals adore my company and high energy and the time I take to ensure they’re safe, fed, comfortable and have had plenty of time for exercise. When it comes to animal care I am definitely the person pet owners would seek out! Pet care works into my schedule in many ways! Essentially I’m available any day or time as I own a snow removal company and am really only busy on the days it snows more then 3” which for me is typically one to two days a week (maybe). How I take care of my puppy, well my dog is served food twice a day about 2 cups of dog food. She is my buisness partner as I work alone, so she rides shot gun everywhere I go when plowing. We have an underground fence although she has been very well trained that she wouldn’t run off even without a collar. My dog can sit, bow, lay down, roll over and I’ve trained her to off leash walk. Everywhere I go I am complimented on how well minded she is. And as a black lab shepherd mix that’s impressive considering the level of engergy she has. In my clients home I will tend to my clients specific instructions as I know every owner to puppy relationship is defferent. I will care for their animal just as they would. And ensure a easy going, safe, and happy environment for the best sitting experience possible.

About: I’ve owned and cared for my own pets since I was 10. Taking care of animals is my main passion. I used to work at a dog boarding kennel and was in the FFA at the career tech center for a year in high school, where I raised baby sheep and grew chickens. I am currently studying to be a zoologist where I hope to go into a career of taking care of animals! I own many pets myself, so I care for them daily and once a week I do a deep clean of all their cages, tanks and enclosures. Caring for animals is part of my daily life routine. I am attentive and have always been good at understanding what animals need/ want. I will never leave ur pets side unless they want alone time. I can play for hours with your puppy or just sit and cuddle your cat or dog. I really enjoy being around animals so it’s a treat just to meet new furry friends.

About: I have been fostering for almost 13 years and have taken care of cats, dogs and horses growing up my whole life. I am familiar with giving meds and special needs for dogs and cats as well. I have dobermans so I understand high energy dogs! I am working part time to spend more time with my kids and dogs and my kids also love new companions we take in and care for. I have just been wanting to care for more animals in my area. I have a fenced in yard and 2 dobermans and a doberdoodle. They are all dog and kid friendly. My dogs are vetted and up to date on everything. My dobermans are the reason I started fostering as they love new friends! My doberdoodle was my foster fail that I love dearly. I do have a couple kennels but if your dog does better with no kennel I do that as well!

I work part time so I have lots of availability to help with your pets. I can visit before or after I have work. And it helps that I am available on most weekends! I have a dog and 2 cats and they are spoiled. Rotten. I have gotten my dog lots of extra training and I work with my animals all the time. So they're always tired out by the time it's bedtime and everyone gets to sleep.

About: I have been watching dogs since I was in high school for neighbors but recently took up watching dogs seriously in the last year or so. I worked at a private country club in California for the last year and was very involved in watching members dogs. This included taking them for walks, stopping in for daily visits while owners are away or spending multiple nights, sometimes up to a week staying with dogs. This has included many different breeds ranging from schitzus to giant poodles. I am comfortable with multiple animals. I work from home as a freelancer in the golf industry so my schedule is completely flexible to your needs. I am available for morning walks, lunchtime walks and evening walks. I follow clients directions very carefully and can play with, walk or entertain your dog as long as you request. I love caring for animals.

About: I've used sitters through this site in Michigan for my little girl, Kiera Marie.-It was great! I've done lots of dog sitting and dog fostering too. Living in beautiful Northern Michigan, I can't think of a more beautiful area to dog walk! I'm available to take your dog for walks-let’s set up a schedule! I'm also happy to dog sit in either one of our homes. I am always willing to fit a furbaby into my schedule. I have experience with large and small breeds. I am also comfortable sitting for multiple dogs. I have worked with restricted diets and behavioural issues. I have a soft spot for all dogs and I look forward to talking with you soon! My husband and I both work part-time, so one of us can always be with the pups! We will adhere to any feeding schedule that your family is accustomed to.
