About: While I've had pets my entire life, I've professionally cared for the animals of others for nearly 10 years. While I was in the Army, I fostered for a local rescue and did the basic training and socialization for young, abandoned puppies to get them ready for forever homes. While pursuing my BS of Animal Science at ISU (Class of '19) I worked at Lloyd Veterinary Medical Hospital with equines of all ages, and spent several years as professional Animal caretaker working at the USDA with small animals. I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, as well as rodents and other small animal pets, geckos, and freshwater aquarium fish. I am semi-retired, and work my own hours part time so schedule is flexible and it's easy for me to fit your pet(s) into my daily life Your pets will be most comfortable in their own environment, and I am committed to caring for them in a way most similar to what they are accustomed to.
About: I am a veterinary student beginning this Fall at UGA, and also have been a veterinary assistant locally for the past 3 years. I have plenty of experience in basic care such as potty breaks, but can also administer medication and watch out for concerning symptoms! I have dog-sat for the veterinarian I work for, and many friends! I will be in veterinary school with a full-time schedule during the week. I am happy to provide morning and evening checks, but a 3rd visit is not guaranteed during the week. I am very available on weekends! I won’t be providing care in my home, however, will provide gentle care in my clients homes. I have set a radius close to my own house, so there will be minimal use of anything in yours other than caring for your pet!

I’ve taken care of a diabetic cat as well as kittens. I am a full time student at UGA but I am available to take care of your pets on weekends and during the weekday after 4pm. I have a fenced in yard with a nice big house. I also have a roommate who will love to spend time with us and give your animal lots of love while you are out and about. Your animal can sleep in my room or in a crate if that’s what you would prefer. I am open to however best your animal needs care.

Although I am a full time college student, I have quite a bit of flexibility in my schedule ! I’m willing to work holidays and weekends if needed. Occasionally I have other obligations but I will let you know if there is any conflict ! I really value respecting an animals boundaries and keeping them on a routine. This means regular feeding, playing and down-time to make any animal in my care feel more safe and comfortable !

Sara goes above and beyond each visit. Our dog fell victim to an illness and Sara was the first to identify. She prompted us immediately which allowed us to take action and take our pup in to the vet. Sara continued to provide care for our sick pup and clean up multiple accidents for us and provide us updates. Sara is someone that you can trust to ensure your dog or cat is provided with the best care.
Elisabeth was super quick to respond to my initial request and was very personable. She took very thorough care of my boy and made sure to send pictures of the visit. She played with him, cleaned his litter and made sure he was fed and watered for both drop ins. She was also able to give him his asthma medicine which was awesome! He's pretty finicky about it so I was super happy. We got home this morning from our first full day away from him and found him very happy and relaxed, no signs of stress. I'll definitely be rebooking with Elisabeth in the future.
Ashlyn was easy to communicate with during the booking process. During our meet and greet, our puppy felt comfortable immediately! She dropped into our house 3 scheduled times over two days and it was so helpful for us and our pup. I would hire Ashlyn again in the future!
Calvin joined our family about a month ago- my dog Charlie, as well as son Sidney, and I have all grown accustomed to and enthusiastically welcome Calvin's presence in our home. Charlie looks delighted every time Calvin comes over, and the pics he sends to me of he and Charlie playing brings a smile to my face knowing that even though I can't be there myself all of the time to play, I find comfort knowing that Charlie has grown to love Calvin in my absence. And...the fact that Calvin served in the US Army is an additional bonus, as I know he understands the importance of responsibility as well as accountability.
