About: I have grown up with pets all my life, starting at the age of 7. My family currently has three dogs (one small and two medium) that I care for regularly. I am able to walk the three on a lease comfortably and have played a large role in training them. Although I prefer dogs, I grew up with a cat that I loved and cared for. I am able to provide compassion and care to a variety of pet personalities. With years of experience caring for cats and dogs, I understand how important it is to find a sitter/ walker you can trust. Whether your pet needs playtime, a dependable routine or just company, I’m here to provide loving and reliable care. I just received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May and am currently studying for the licensure exam that will be at the end of July. My availability is open as I have the freedom to adjust my study schedule as needed. I care for pets in their home by meeting them where they are at; literally and personality wise. With three dogs of my own at home, I am unable to watch your pet outside of their home. In caring for your pet in their environment it helps reduce stress and attempt to maintain any form of routine they have. I am considerate of multiple personalities and consciously make an effort to accommodate the pets needs. With dogs I have watched in the past, I attempt to give them familiarity with their routine, within mine and their comfort. I walk familiar roads/paths, feed them on their schedule (if possible) and attain to any of their needs. I will use any devices/ equipment you typically use and will prioritize safety outside the home (using leases, collars, etc.).

“Leah was awesome and went above and beyond to make sure our pup was well taken care of the entire time. She was a great communicator and sent plenty of pictures. Would highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for a little over a year now. I had repetitive clients who I sat for. I’ve had timid dogs, needy dogs, elderly dogs, and hyperactive dogs. I’ve even taken care of 12 inch koi fish! I love spending time with the dogs and caring for them, as well as getting to know their owners and ensuring that they have someone they trust with their pets. I am currently looking for a job in Athens, so my days are completely free. I will have to have time for school, but otherwise I don’t have much else to do. I won’t be able to keep them at my home since I have roommates. However, I am able to go to the dogs to care for them. In the past, I always went to my clients home (overnight or just the daytime), and can still do that.

About: Ever since I begged my parents for a puppy when I was seven years old, I have had a huge love for dogs. I grew up helping to raise my family's first dog, Scooby. She was feisty and a diva, but she quickly became a cherished member of our family. I got to grow up with her and care for her in all stages of her life, from puppy hood to her senior years. She lived a long, happy life, and we said goodbye to her a few months after her fifteenth birthday in 2020. Our house was too quiet without a pet, so in November of 2020 we we brought our sweet new addition, Natty, into our lives. She is our pride and joy, and getting to be a part of her life makes mine infinitely better. I have such a love for dogs, I think they are incredible animals capable of love and happiness that some of us could only dream of. I can't wait to meet your furry friend! Open availability for walks and check ins. I'm in between jobs currently, so I am pretty flexible! I have limited availability on Saturdays during the fall. I will follow all owner instructions thoroughly and thoughtfully. Your pet is a cherished member of your family, and my care will reflect that. Your pet will have my undivided attention, and keeping them safe will be my number one priority. Your dog will be on a leash at all times when outside the home, and care will be taken when approaching other dogs and humans.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience working in a veterinary clinic and a senior dog sanctuary, which have given me a solid understanding of animal care, including senior pets and those needing special attention. I’m comfortable dealing with pets that have medical needs, whether it’s administering medications or following specific care instructions. My ability to stay organized and calm helps ensure a stress-free environment for pets in my care. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. Between caring for my three cats, I’ve developed a structured approach to animal care. I make sure to give them attention, check on their needs, and ensure everything is clean and comfortable. My work schedule allows me to plan for pet care around my other responsibilities, so I can dedicate time each day for walks, feeding, playtime, and cleaning. Whether it’s administering medications or simply spending quality time with them, pet care is always a top priority in my routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, safety and trust are my top priorities. I ensure that the environment is secure by checking gates, doors, and any potential hazards before the walk or visit. I make sure pets are always on a leash during walks and are kept in safe, familiar areas. In a client's home, I respect their space and follow any specific instructions they have for the pet’s care, whether it's feeding routines or special needs. I also ensure the pet feels comfortable and stress-free by providing a calm and consistent environment.

About: While I've had pets my entire life, I've professionally cared for the animals of others for nearly 10 years. While I was in the Army, I fostered for a local rescue and did the basic training and socialization for young, abandoned puppies to get them ready for forever homes. While pursuing my BS of Animal Science at ISU (Class of '19) I worked at Lloyd Veterinary Medical Hospital with equines of all ages, and spent several years as professional Animal caretaker working at the USDA with small animals. I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, as well as rodents and other small animal pets, geckos, and freshwater aquarium fish. I am semi-retired, and work my own hours part time so schedule is flexible and it's easy for me to fit your pet(s) into my daily life Your pets will be most comfortable in their own environment, and I am committed to caring for them in a way most similar to what they are accustomed to.

About: I am a lifelong animal lover with 10+ years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and everything in between. I am college student committed to providing attentive and loving care, tailored to each pet’s unique needs. I am currently working for UGA part time, so I have plenty of time carved out to take some sweet doggos on the walks they deserve. I’m looking forward to being able to serve you and your pet! I always treat my clients with utmost care and respect. With over a decade of experience, I’m here to provide trustworthy care in a calm, positive space where your pup can truly enjoy their time outside.

About: My mom and I started transporting pets about 6 years ago to different states and countries. Due to being in school, I cannot travel a lot and chose to pet sit instead. I have been responsible for walking, feeding, and bathing dogs. I even have experience with cats and other animals like bunnies. Here is my link for $20 off for first time Rover users :) https://www.rover.com/sit/annikl68174 I am currently free for the summer. I will be going back to college in mid August. I hope to also pet sit when I start classes. I am willing to stay overnight at any clients home and accommodate to the animals in your home. I’m more than willing to do drop ins or stays! :)

About: Since I was young, I've help care for a total of 3 dogs and a couple cats. I'm best with dogs that are at least one year old. I am taking college classes, but aside from that I have plenty of free time to care for your pet's unique needs. I'll only take jobs that are nearby my home because that way if they need extra help I can get there on short notice. I will only take out items that you consider necessary for watching your dog. I will clean up any accidents that your dog might leave behind.

About: I am an absolute dog lover and Rover lover! After I graduated from UGA in 2018, the first thing I did was purchase my own puppy, and she has been worth every sacrifice. Rover has helped me out so much while I have been moving between houses, and would be honored to give back by being a sitter. I am married and work full time, but am flexible as to whether I am working at home or in the office, and my husband is available to switch off with me as needed. My dog is very gentle, and loves play when with a good buddy. I am also a runner, so if your dog is high-energy, I will gladly take it for a good run (Yes- even if they want to yank my arm off)! I am diligent about taking puppies out to use the restroom. I understand (from experience) what it takes to house-train a puppy, and how important consistency is. I have a very flexible job, and already spend a lot of time with my own dog. Adding another in the mix would just be more fun for Mal Pal and I! Currently, I do three walks: morning, afternoon, and evening. I try not to leave dogs for longer than and hour if I need to leave the home while pet-sitting. When I am gone, pups stay in their crates.

About: I’ve always had dogs my whole life, I currently have a Pitt Bull Mix. The majority of my experience is with medium to large dogs, but I love all of them. I have plenty of experience with dogs! I grew up with dogs and I’ve had plenty in my life. Right now I have a very high energy Pitt Bull mix and she’s very spoiled! But, like my grandpa says, “a spoiled dog is a good dog.” I have a very high energy dog, who would love a playmate! She’s very loving and friendly! She would do well with a friendly and playful dog.

“Katie watched my two cats when we left for a vacation. One of the cats is old and has GI issues. Katie was very patient with her, keeping me informed of appetite and upset stomach via text when they occurred. She also sent me happy pictures of both cats, which eased my mind. She was willing to come over twice per day, which made a difference for the cats as I could see they were relaxed when we returned. Her attention kept them healthy and unstressed, and allowed me to enjoy my vacation!”

She's stayed over multiple times, plays with him in the yard, takes him on walks, and gives him meds when needed. Our house is cleaner than when we left and she handles any minor things (like rolling the trash can to the street) as needed. Highly recommend!”

Whitehall dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ella was wonderful, she jumped right in and took care of our two fur babies. (Lab and German shepherd). They enjoyed their walks each day and she also made sure all of their needs were taken care of. We will definitely use Ella in the future - she is outstanding.

I adopted my dog Charlie a year ago. She’s very attached to me and becomes frightened to be away from me. Sophia is very patient and gentle with her and Charlie is gaining confidence with each walk. Great communication and very friendly. I highly recommend Sophia.
