They were super attentive with my little spoiled brat (and I say that with love 😄). He was always wagging his butt and happy to go back, which says it all. I really appreciated how they noticed he was picky with food—he wouldn’t eat there, but they still checked in and made sure I knew. He had plenty of playtime and always came home happy and tired, which is a win in my book! I didn’t want him going on walks because of his reactivity to cars, and they totally respected that—he got plenty of backyard play instead. Bonus points for being flexible with my chaotic work schedule. Highly recommend! 🐾”

About: I have grown up with animals, long before I can remember, and love being able to provide attention for my friend’s pets when out of town! I treat all animals as if they are my own with lots of love, activity, and treats! I am currently working part time as a nurse and have plenty of time to play with your furry friends on my off days! I live near trails and love going on walks, hikes, and getting outdoors! My schedule is very flexible and can accommodate last minute needs! I am new to Rover! But while I live in a dog friendly apartment and do not have my own fenced backyard, I live near plenty of walking trails and love to get outside myself. I have a sweet fur baby at home to keep yours company and will be present at all times to ensure they are safe and comfortable. I live in a two bedroom apartment and can separate my dog if needed.

About: 2 years experience as a vet assistant, 8 years Husbandry and Zoo volunteer work: caring for over 1,500+ animals. Dedicated, reliable, patient and safety oriented. Can administer medications depending on the dog. Loves animals and have been in care related fields for over 10 years, I know what to watch out for! I am available to come check on pets and walk and sit at your home- I cannot sit at my apartment. I will do everything I can to create a schedule that works for both you and me! I have a car so travel is easy. I have a flexible schedule with a few work trips through out the summer. Just give me a heads up and we will make something work! Your home is your safe space, I will always treat it with the respect it deserves. I am there for your pet and everything they need so that is as far as I shall reach, unless you request for some help cleaning around the house- I can absolutely do that no problem (for an additional charge).

About: My family had a number of dogs ranging from Saint Bernards, to Border Collie/Australian Shepard mixes, to tiny Terrier cuties. I have experience with big and small dogs, calm and the fun crazy. I’ve also lived with many cutie cats, young to old, and fuzzy fluffball to sleek softies. I love using positive reinforcement and praise to encourage animals when they’re struggling to learn or if they feel uncomfortable with something such as a first meeting or a sudden sound. I’ve recently lowered the amount of classes I had been taking on so pet sitting and walking fits perfectly into my week, it fills my extra time with lovely animals and productivity while giving me enough flexibility in my schedule. In clients homes I’m respectful of your space and things and solely focused on your fur babies and their care and love! In my home the animals live life as usual, just a different environment, I make sure they stick to their schedule and get everything they need or could want, I do my best to make the space most comfortable for each pet by having owners bring their own pet supplies (food, bed, crate, toys, etc) to make my home feel as close as it can to their own.
