“We absolutely are very satisfied with Makayla! She leaves notes for us as well as pics of Tucker! She really gets the whole missing our puppy during the day. Tucker is happy with her too!”

“Cheryl took excellent care of our dear old cat Angel. We appreciated the daily reports and pictures! When a kitty is almost 20 years old it’s pretty easy to worry about them, Cheryl sure eased our minds.”

“Michele was wonderful. I’m so glad I found her! I’m new to the area and scheduled a last minute trip to visit family and she was available with such short notice and was extremely flexible. She got my little scaredy cats to come out of hiding which is a feat for new people. Michele will be my go-to be when I need help!”

About: I’ve had three ferrets of my own, so I know just how playful (and mischievous!) exotics can be. I’ve also cared for rabbits, birds, fish, and even snakes for friends and neighbors. Before I moved, I horse sat regularly and honestly feel most at home in a barn—feeding, grooming, mucking stalls, all of it. Cats, though, have always been my comfort zone. I understand their quirks and routines, and I adjust to each one’s personality, whether they’re shy or clingy. I’ve given oral meds, handled picky eaters, and I always keep things clean, calm, and consistent. Whether it purrs, hops, slithers, or gallops—I’ve likely cared for it and loved every minute. I’m a teacher with summers off, so I have full availability right now, and during the school year, I’m available in the afternoons and evenings. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions to a T and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved—while also keeping your home just the way you left it. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely at ease.

“Abby did an awesome job watching our 2 cats! She was thorough with the reports and included pictures and videos of them while we were away. She also made sure that any of the messes the cats made were cleaned up too! I highly recommend her for watching your fur babies!”

About: I have experience with Elderly dogs as well as puppies. I have some experience with training and am able to assist with simple commands like sit, stay and heel. I have experience with reactive dogs as I used to have one of my own and am very good at soothing stressed animals and keeping them under control. I am a University student and will be leaving Wilmington on July 10th. However I do regularly return for holidays and will be back in December. I am a very diligent caretaker always keeping an eye on the pet and taking time to determine what they need when they express distress. I am very active and love being in nature so I am happy to take as many walks as might be necessary!

About: Whether I’m dropping in for a quick potty break or offering personalized attention and comfort, I bring over 10 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. Always making sure your furry family feels safe, happy, and truly cared for. I currently work several flexible part-time jobs, which allows me to schedule pet visits around your needs. I’m available afternoons, evenings, and weekends with advance notice. Your pet’s routine matters, and I’ll do my best to match it. I provide attentive, loving care for your pets and respect your home like it’s my own. I offer drop in visits during the day and reliable dog walking to keep your furry family friends happy.

“Miranda was an amazing cat sitter for my cat Zoro! She didn’t mind the drive to my house to pick up and drop him off with our changing schedule. She was super friendly, and made the whole experience stress free. Zoro had his own personal space at her place but also warmed up to her quickly, which says a lot about her care!! She kept me updated with regular photos and videos and communicated clearly throughout. I’d definitely rebook with her again!! I highly recommend her services!”

“Jennifer was amazing. She arrived each day promptly and sent many photos of our kitty. He loved her and her sweet kids. I appreciate her attention to detail and her compassion for my CleoPatrick. I will definitely use her in the future. I highly recommend her for your pet care needs.”

About: I have taken care of animals of every kind, from chickens and rabbits to dogs and cats. I own 4 cats and a dog of my own which are all rescues. Neighbors, friends and family have all relied on me to check in, walk, feed, and play with their pets. Let me take care of your fur baby too! I’m currently not working but anticipate this to change. Right now I am pretty flexible with caregiving then it may move to nights and weekends or very early mornings, dinner time and full availability on the weekend I live in an apartment now so the best option for care or pet sitting would be to care for them in their own home, which would provide them a familiar, safe and comfortable environment. If needed I have a fenced in dog park I can take them to run and play in!

“Matilda is excellent! This is the second time she was kind enough to take care of Sammi ... for an extended period of time. Sammi's disposition remains as if I never left. No readjustment period! Matilda's a wonderful Cat Step-Dad!!!”

“I highly recommend Miranda to care for your fur babies! I had 2 cat sitters visiting at different times and when my usual cat sitter was sick Miranda took over her visits last minute. This was such a relief to have someone reliable!! I’m glad I found Miranda and will be using her services again. She was amazing with my ? and took great care of him! It’s not easy to trust someone with your pet and no regrets with Miranda. You should hire her!”

About: I have been around animals all my life. I have helped my friends and family with their pets ever since I was a teenager. I have full experience with both cats, dogs, and their needs. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of availability for your pets needs. Weekends are always good for me to be flexible with scheduling. Your pets safety is my top priority and always making sure they are on a leash. Also I have no problem picking up after them.

About: Did you know wolves travel anywhere from 10-30 miles a day?! I believe that a tired pup is a happy pup and I am always up for an adventure. My pet care experience includes a variety of species in a variety of environments. I am a native to Wilmington so I know the area well and can give your pup the adventure they crave if you so choose. My family has a history of working with k-9s so handling them is something that comes naturally. I am focused on gaining the respect and trust of every species I encounter. Affection, it comes in many forms and I am here to offer them all; toys, treats, belly rubs, you name it. I'm versatile, accommodating and I look forward to meeting your four legged family! I am a stay at home mom and spend my days taking care of little humans while also loving and meeting the needs of our loyal companions. If your home is fenced then we will spend time playing in the sunshine at their own pace. During the summer I will only walk your dog(s) in the morning or late afternoon. I don’t walk dogs during the peak heat of the day for their safety and mine. I am well seasoned in body language and dog psychology so you can trust that I will be in tune with their likes and dislikes. In the future I plan to offer boarding in my home but we are working on home improvements before that is possible.

About: Farm raised & veteran first responder. I’ve worked with working, energetic, reactive, calm, and aggressive dogs. All personalities welcome, please don’t hesitate to reach out! After 10 years of being a first responder, I’ve decided to pursue my dream of working with animals full time. My passion is here. I am available 24-7 depending on my current clients. I’m a dog mom to two german shepherds, a Belgian Malinois, a Labrador, and a Dachshund Morkie cross (he’s the boss, small but mighty). I have a small farm with goats, pigs, ducks and chickens. My shepherds and Malinois have been trained for flock protection, and boy do they love their job. I’ve always had a natural instinct with animals, they are a light in my life. That brings me here today! While attending classes for dog training, I’d like to get out here and put in some good work. I have experience with other pets as well (Reptiles, cats, small mammals). I am willing to work with challenging pets, so please don’t hesitate to reach out. Let me bring you some peace of mind that your companion is in good company.
