“Allison is the best! She is a great communicator - she responds quickly and clearly. She sends lots of pictures and follows directions perfectly. She took such good care of our pups and they loved her! We will definitely use her again! Thank you, Allison!”

“Emma was great at taking care of my 3 dogs while on vacation. She made sure they got plenty of attention and belly rubs. Played fetch with my puppy and took a lot of pictures. My oldest has problems with his eyes and she took care of him by cleaning his eyes and giving him his eye drops twice a day. I would recommend her if you need someone to take care of your fur babies. I will be re-booking with her soon.”

“Sarah wasa big help in checking on the dogs so we could do Christmas holiday event in Columbus. She even made a friend with the littlest dog thst tends to be antisocial with everyone. We will be happy to use her expertise and flexibility again .”

“Misr is very personable. She came for a visit ( which was with my partner)aince it was her first time dropping in to care for the two dogs. We first video chatted and I knew I selected someone with pet experience and a real love and connection towards animals. Both of us felt the sincerity and warmth immediately. The dogs, one of which is not social both liked her spirit. Misty followed instrucions and requests to a t, was prompt and thorough. So glad I chose Misty to allow us to be gone Christmas day and not worry the dogs were in excellent care. Thank you for facilitating a break away from home and lovingly checkimg on our 2 dogs.”

About: I have had at least one dog since I was born as I grew up in an animal loving family. For the past 11+ years I’ve been raising my own pack of three rescue dogs who I’ve trained and raised to be extremely social and friendly. They love making new fur friends. I currently work a regular office job, but am fairly flexible with my schedule and am almost always available on weekends (Friday - Sunday) and evenings. I have a completely fenced in yard and three friendly fur babies of my own that would love nothing more than to befriend and play with your dog(s). I can also do house visits to come to your place and give one on one time with your fur baby and make sure they’re safe and comfortable.

About: I am a dog owner myself, having dogs throughout my whole life. I love any and all dogs and would love an opportunity to meet yours. I’ve had past experience watching both dogs and cats, where I’ve stayed overnight, fed, walked, and cared for pets in various ways. I also have reliable transportation and am willing to accommodate any needs necessary. I am eager to learn anything that will help your pet feel safer and happier while caring for them! I’m free throughout most days this summer, so my attention can be fully on your pets! Other than occasional trips/errands out, I can stay as long as you need with your fur babies! I’m very comfortable doing anything you need within your home for your pets! I can crate if needed, and I love walking if that’s something you’d like your pet to experience.
“Jessalyn was amazing with Mr. Donut. She came to meet him and took detailed notes of the instructions for his care. I felt calm being away from home and knowing she was taking great care of him. Thank you so much!”

“I have use Katrina every time I go out of town. She is the best with my cats and takes the most adorable pictures leaving me able to relax because I can rest assured that they are in good hands”

“Kerry was great! She sent us thorough updates with each visit and included pictures. She even vacuumed the areas around the litter boxes when one of the cats decided to be a "super scooper". I would not hesitate to use Kerry again in the future!”

“Laura did a great job with our kitties! She even took the time to bring in boxes from our porch. We have an older cat with an unusual no-litter situation which she was very willing to work with. It helped make our vacation less stressful knowing our boys were in good hands!”
“Andrea has been so good to my mini dachshund. My dog is sometimes anxious, stubborn, and can lash out a bit if she is triggered. But Andrea has remained patient and given me frequent updates on her visits. She is great!!”

“Elizabeth did a great job dropping in on our gaggle of kitties (mama and babies fosters added some chaos!) While we were out of town. I appreciated her being agreeable to a quick meet and greet beforehand since our logistics were a little complex and too much to type out ? She followed instructions well and kindly brought in a couple packages we received. I recommend her for sure!”

“Kayla is fantastic with our dogs. She is reliable, communicative, punctual, polite, honest, and cares deeply about making sure everything is just right with our “girls”. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and genuinely caring sitter. Kayla is a gem, we love her and our dogs do too.”

“Kaycee is our puppy’s new best friend! She did a great job, followed all instructions and rolled with our kind of weird schedule and setup easily. Kaycee was communicative all along the way and connected easily with our pup. We’re all looking forward to working with her again in the future!”

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my genuine passion and dedication to animals. Caring for dogs and cats isn't just a job for me—it's what I want to dedicate my life to. I currently serve as the General Manager of a pet lodge, where I've worked since July 2024. Prior to that, I gained valuable experience at both an animal hospital and another boarding facility. I have hands-on experience caring for puppies, senior pets, and everything in between, as well as dogs of all breeds and sizes and cats of all personalities. I am comfortable administering a wide variety of medications, including pills, tablets, insulin injections, eye medications, ear medications, and more. I take immense pride in providing exceptional care and treating every pet as if they were my own. It would be an honor to care for your furry family members, and I promise they will receive the top-notch, five-star care, attention, and love they deserve. I am currently the General Manager of a boarding, daycare, and grooming facility, where I have the opportunity to work with pets and their families every day. While I truly enjoy what I do, my long-term goal is to build something of my own. I am working toward starting my own pet care business and eventually opening my own boarding and daycare facility. My passion for animals and commitment to providing exceptional care drive me to continue learning, growing, and pursuing that dream. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I have four dogs and a cat of my own, so at this time I primarily offer drop-in visits and dog walking services in your home. This allows me to give your pets the attention, exercise, companionship, and care they deserve while keeping them comfortable in their familiar environment. Whether it's a daily walk, playtime, feeding, or simply spending quality time with them, I am committed to making sure your pets feel loved and well cared for while you're away.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in White Oak. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
