About: I currently work as a veterinary technician and have been in the veterinary medicine field for six years. Growing up, I had a feisty miniature dachshund and a goofy golden retriever. When I moved out, I got my own dynamic duo over the years- a chihuahua mix (Brulee- like the dessert crème Brulee) and three years later an Australian shepherd mix (muffin). Brulee was a very opinionated and particular girl while muffin is a gentle soul and afraid of her own shadow. I am fear free certified and have been since I entered the vet med field, it is something that is very important to me and I practice it with every animal I interact with. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages. If they have special needs, behaviors, or quirks please tell me everything- I want to know all about your pet! Their comfort as well as yours is of the upmost importance to me. I love taking dogs on walks and hikes, allowing them to set the tone and pace- if they want to speed walk, we can do that or if they want to take a leisurely stroll sniffing every blade of grass that is fine too. I will keep your dog leashed the entire time we are out of the house, unless we are in an enclosed backyard. I do not take dogs to dog parks, unless have a well-established recall and if you request me to. However your pet wants to play, I am game- we can play ball, tug of war, hide and seek, or treat puzzles- whatever gets them excited! I am happy to medicate and feed your pet as needed. I prefer to meet you and your fur baby beforehand to ensure safety and it is a good fit! I currently work from home full time and pick up shifts at clinics when I can. My schedule hours vary so I can be available at normal or obscure hours. As long as we can find a window to make it work, I am happy to be flexible for you and your fur baby! I will care for your pets and home like I care for my own. If your pet has specific needs or if you have special requests, I will do my best to fulfill them to keep you and your pup happy, safe, and comfortable!

About: Pets have been in my life since I was a little kid. My family has always had a dog and I have a cat that I take care of like she’s my baby! I’ve always loved animals and being around fur babies. To me pets aren’t just animals you have they are an extension of your family! I work a part time job at the kenwood mall during the summer/seasonally and am a student at UC studying education in hopes of becoming a teacher! My availability is pretty flexible during the week Monday, Wednesday, Friday I only have one class from 11-12:10 so I will be readily available for virtually the entire day. Availability for Tuesday/ Thursday varies because my classes range from 11-2 which isn’t ideal for potty breaks or feedings but am able to negotiate if you have a specific situation that would fit my schedule on those two day. During the weekend im free whenever and can do mornings, overnight care, potty breaks, special feeding care, etc. While at home I let our dog out, give treats, feed, and clean the cat's littler box, feed the cat, replenish the water supply in their fountain, etc. I have a senior dog so playing isn’t in her cards anymore but I’m happy to sit with senior dogs and play with younger dogs.
