And "cared for" Chrissy and family did! She sent me photos of him every other day and I got to see how normal life stayed for him while I was gone. Another reason I felt comfortable with Chrissy is that she has the vet tech background. Mr. Miyagi has allergies and can be a little high maintenance. I wanted someone who could recognize his allergies and respond accordingly if needed. Chrissy was great! I give her 4 "dog thumbs" up!”

About: I have two special needs cats myself. They both require different types of medication to be administered daily on a regular schedule. They also have varying levels of intimacy needs. About: I have fostered over 70 animals the past four alyears. Puppies, adult dogs kittens and cats. Also bunnies and guinea pigs! I have tons of experience with house training and crate training puppies. I volunteer at our local animal shelter weekly and have developed a strong bond with the rescue community. I also have experience administering medication. During the past two years I have met many animals , all with a different type of personality. I have been able to adapt and learn how to handle each unique personality. My time as a foster and shelter volunteer has really showed me what my true passion is! My schedule is very flexible and I'm usually able to accommodate last minute requests. Unless I have another client , my schedule is almost always open. I volunteer at the shelters on Tuesday mornings but I can always rearrange my volunteer days. My home is fenced in and I have crates for my own dogs, also extra crates for your dogs. My dogs have multiple play styles so I can adapt to just about any personality. I only ask that if your dogs are boarding in my home they are animal and kid friendly. If you're nervous about your dogs being around dogs you don't know, I understand. I can easily rotate the dogs time so they never even have to interact, as I have baby gates to keep them separated. I have a big fenced in yard so your dog will get plenty of play time. If you want boarding in your home I can do that too. I can provide plenty of love and play for them. Whatever you are comfortable with in your home just let me know! I also always will send tons of pictures. If you have puppies I can absolutely help with potty and also crate training if they aren't crate trained yet.

About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dog(s) whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely!). Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are the 3 days I have classes and I'm always home after that! Tuesday and Thursday I have a 2-hour class, and Saturday is my long day with a 10 hour clinical so my bookings will be closed for that specific day. The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate for your animal, you can bring that as well for me to use if I must leave for a short time.

About: I am over the top when it comes to animals. I typically go above and beyond in play and in care. I love to groom them, go hiking or on extended walks and cuddle! I am currently a nursing student who is trying to make extra money so I can stop working during clinicals. Also I have a small child that I could always use extra money for! About: My family has had dogs since before I was born! I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and know how to take care of fur babies of all ages :) Almost four years ago I adopted my first cat. Fast forward to today, I am now a mother of two orange special needs kitties. They are my world 🌎 ❤️🐾 I currently work part time and go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On school days, class starts at 9 and I will have an hour and a half between classes to let a pet out to go to the bathroom, feed them, or give them medication. Then I have another class from 1-3. After that, I will be totally free to assist any pets. I also work part time 3-4 days when I do not have school. These are usually 6-8 hour shifts, but I can adjust feedings/walking/medication administration around these times. And when in doubt, I have several well regarded Rover friends that are willing to help out on my longer shifts, with client approval. :-) I have space to keep a crate for overnight visits and live in an apartment complex with some green space to walk and explore. I am also only a few minutes away from five different parks, so lots of options to check out. I have two cats that are dog friendly, but can be separated if the dog is not cat friendly !

Also, I'm not sure how my cat would act if I brought your pooch to stay for the day. I have no problem caring for your pet in their own environment.
About: I have owned dogs/cats since I was a very small child and have cared for them like they were my siblings/children every time. I currently have an 11yo cat, Diesel, that is my heart and joy! My long term bubbie was a Rottweiler/husky mix that was with my family for 14 amazing years, and we have cared for countless foster dogs since then. In addition I care for friends/coworkers/others dogs regularly and get glowing reviews the dogs are relaxed and at peace when the owner returns home vs experiencing separation anxiety. I am a teacher, my summers are free giving me the availability to be attentive to your furry loved ones during this time while you vacation! I am very affectionate with my cat and ensure all his needs are met the moment he makes me aware of them. Same for my clients’ pets, the slightest whimper or upset sound I will tend to them and figure out what has disturbed them until we’re able to settle back into a comfortable space in the home. This is usually when I do overnight stays and the pets get anxious.
About: I have fostered over 70 animals the past four alyears. Puppies, adult dogs kittens and cats. Also bunnies and guinea pigs! I have tons of experience with house training and crate training puppies. I volunteer at our local animal shelter weekly and have developed a strong bond with the rescue community. My schedule is very flexible and I'm usually able to accommodate last minute requests. Unless I have another client , my schedule is almost always open. I volunteer at the shelters on Tuesday mornings but I can always rearrange my volunteer days. My home is fenced in and I have crates for my own dogs, also extra crates for your dogs. My dogs have multiple play styles so I can adapt to just about any personality. I only ask that if your dogs are boarding in my home they are animal and kid friendly. If you're nervous about your dogs being around dogs you don't know, I understand. I can easily rotate the dogs time so they never even have to interact, as I have baby gates to keep them separated. I have a big fenced in yard so your dog will get plenty of play time. If you want boarding in your home I can do that too. I can provide plenty of love and play for them. Whatever you are comfortable with in your home just let me know! I also always will send tons of pictures. If you have puppies I can absolutely help with potty and also crate training if they aren't crate trained yet.

I have a cat now that needs to take oral medication daily so I have experience there, and work from home so I’m fairly flexible on how I can care for your babies while you are away! I work from home, and at a restaurant on the weekends. So my availability is very flexible. I take my dog out every few hours to walk and smell around the neighborhood. I’m very active so if you have an active pet that’s great! But I can also take it slow if that’s what your senior baby needs.
