“Christy took wonderful care of our girls while we were out of town for a long weekend. I was nervous as it was our first time using a dog sitter but she was so easy to work with it put my nerves to ease. We got daily pictures/ updates and they were so happy when we arrived for pick up. They were definitely very well loved and cared for while with Christy.”

“You want to use Bailie!! We were so happy with our boarding experience!! We had originally booked our dog with another sitter and had to cancel because they couldn't make time to meet us first. Bailie saved our trip. From the start she was very quick to respond and was able to accommodate Kinzie on short notice. We were able to meet with her prior so that we could familiarize our little dog before we left her somewhere unknown. Our meetup was great, the doggy hotel they have created is beautiful and cozy!! Bailie is very kind and sweet, very clearly a dog-lover. Kinzie seemed very content with her digs upon arrival. This put us in ease for our trip. We were provided updates every day, complete with pictures of our photogenic poodle having fun on her vacation while we got to enjoy ours. She really seemed to enjoy her stay, and didn't seem to care to come home all that much LOL. We were happy she was in good and safe hands. Bailie will treat your pet like her own. Thank you again Bailie!”

“Awesome place for my 6 month old puppy to spend the week. He had lots of friends to play with and so much room to run around! Daily pictures and videos made being away from him a little bit easier. He almost didn’t want to come home!”

“Huri was absolutely amazing with my little Nelly! She made sure that Nelly was well socialized, active, and loved. I also got some lovely picture updates on Nelly during her stay.”

“Angie was great! She sent a lot of pictures and was always quick to respond. You can tell she just has a passion for caring for dogs. We will definitely continue to book with Angie if she is available!”

“Juniper had such a great time with Lisa. Her property is beautiful and spacious and so peaceful. You can tell that everyone is well loved and cared for. When I arrived to pick up Juniper she was running around and playing with all of the other dogs. Highly recommend!!”

“Chris was a fantastic sitter from start to finish. He communicated quickly and frequently, and sent pictures to me almost every day of my dogs 10 day stay. Drop off/pick up was very smooth and my dog had a great time. Would recommend Chris to anyone!”

“Alexis was great with my one stay with Roxy. She took the pup on a walk and gave her lots of love and treats. She has a very loving and welcoming home that my dog felt immediately at ease. Home was clean organized and well taken care of! 5/5 will book again.”

“Lavar and Amber are literally a second family to my baby. They love him so much and really care about him, which always makes me feel comfortable when I leave him in their care. Thank you both for loving Copper.”

“Ryder really enjoyed his stay - his tail was wagging when I dropped him off and picked him up. It was great to know I could enjoy my trip since he was happy to be where he was.”

“Mo was absolutely amazing. Kept me informed with videos and pictures once a day. She kept me updated about how he was doing as well. She had a very nice big fenced yard for him. Would definitely recommend!”

“We loved having Penny stay with Ritch! He sent the sweetest pictures and was great at communicating throughout her stay. I could tell she had had the best time and had been loved well when I picked her up.”

“This is my second time having Robin watch Sadie and she is just absolutely fabulous. She takes Sadie on walks and send photos and videos and it’s just been so kind. On top of that I asked her last night at the last minute if she would keep Sadie overnight and she without hesitation said of course she would love to. I would definitely recommend Robin and I will continue using her without a doubt!!!”

“Brian and his family were excellent caregivers for Rex while we were gone. They sent frequent pictures and text updates to let us know how he was. Plus, Rex loved them and wanted to be by their side, which is a great sign! The large piece of property was perfect for Rex to run around and get some exercise. We would definitely choose them to watch him again! Highly recommended!”

“Marcus was the perfect choice for keeping our senior dog. He was so attentive. He cared for Rex like he would his own dog. He sends pictures and updates frequently. When issues arose, Marcus reached out immediately and asked for guidance and offered assistance. I was able to fully relax and enjoy our family trip knowing that Marcus was keeping Rex exercised, fed and cuddled.”

“We are new puppy owners and boarded our dog for the first overnight stay with Marissa. Marissa was wonderful and so caring to our sweet puppy who had some separation anxiety. Would 100% referral her to others as drop off/pick up was easy and her communication was fantastic. We are using her again in a few weeks so now will be a repeat customer.”

I was so happy to find Christy for boarding. I knew my dog was in safe and reliable hands and I didn’t need to worry about how she was doing while we were gone or that she would be in a crate for most of the day. My dog had a lot of fun with her new doggy friends.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
