About: Craig and I have had a dogs since age ten. As an adults, we have continued to always have a dog (Spike, 7 lb). We also foster for Bonaparte's Retreat, 42 dogs and counting over the past 22 years. We have fostered special needs (blind, deaf, surgery recovery, special medical needs: pill schedule. We only take small/med breeds. Never more than 2-3 dogs at one time. We like them to have plenty of individual care and attention. They have the run of the house. We are retired and home with our pet guests. We have 5 acres for long walks and a large fenced in back yard. We even have a ramp for pups with issues going up/down stairs to the back yard. Staying with us is like going to Gramma's for the weekend. (some even choose share our bed at night, and that is ok) Available 7 days a week, we are retired. Enjoy walks, play time in the secured/fenced yard. We enjoy time on the porch on nice days barking at the squirrels and having treats. Pet sitting in our home. We have a 14 year old boy, 7 lbs, Spike. We have 5 acres for long walks, stairs and a ramp for pets to get to the fenced back yard area. We are retired and home with our pet guests during their stay. They have the run of the house just like they would at your home. Sleeping in pet bed or our bed with us if they prefer.

About: I have experience caring for cats, including those with anxiety and overgrooming. I currently care for my own cat and focus on keeping a calm, consistent environment. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box care, medications, and paying attention to behavior changes. I take time to build trust with each cat and always provide updates and photos. I also grew up with puppies. I have experienced walking, going potty, and playing! Pet care fits naturally into my routine, especially in the evenings and on weekends. I have a consistent schedule and am available Wednesday through Friday in the evenings and Saturdays during the day. I already care for my own cat daily, so feeding, cleaning, and spending quality time with pets is something I’m used to. I plan my schedule carefully to make sure each pet gets reliable, on-time care and attention. In a client’s home, I follow your cat’s normal routine to keep things as stress-free as possible. I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and playtime or quiet companionship depending on your cat’s personality. I take a calm, patient approach, especially with shy or anxious cats, and never force interaction. I also monitor behavior, administer medications if needed, and send regular updates with photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.

I’m also usually home on the weekends and days I work from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I understand how important consistency is, so I do my best to maintain your pet’s normal routine with feeding, walks, exercise, and lots of love. You’ll also receive regular photo and video updates, so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I live in a pet-friendly apartment that is pet-proofed to help provide a safe environment for visiting pets. My community is very dog friendly, with a fenced dog park and plenty of sidewalks and green spaces for walks, exercise, and enrichment. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special care instructions before their stay. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, crate training, or favorite toys, I’ll follow your instructions closely to help your pet feel comfortable and at home. About: I have grown up with at least one dog in my house at all times, and did a lot of dog sitting/walking in my hometown throughout middle and high school. When the pandemic started, I finally adopted my own, Roxie. She gets along great with other dogs, we go on many walks/runs, and also love to just lounge on the couch. We’d do the same with your doggo. I work from home most days, so the dogs rarely need kenneled during the day. It also means extra walks/bathroom breaks and play time between work meetings! I am happy to have your dog at my house or to come to yours. I have plenty of space and a fenced-in turf backyard, too.
