About: I have 2 of my own dogs that are very much like children to me! I have been around dogs my whole life and have always loved them like they were my own. I have also taken courses on dog training and understanding their behaviors. I will give your dogs a loving and relaxed experience just like I would want for my own! I currently stay at home full time with the dream of having my own dog boarding business so you will never have to worry about your pets being alone! I am a huge dog person so my dogs get treated almost like humans and so would yours! We have plenty of area for your dog/s to roam and be relaxed. I am also able to separate my dogs from others if the situation requires it.
“Kandace watched our two very spoiled dogs while we were away for almost three weeks. She sent pictures of them at play and kept us updated throughout. We knew they were happy and active. Our return flight kept getting delayed and she was flexible and kind. She had everything ready to go when we arrived. We would gladly use her again! She’s great!”

“Denise and her family were great in takng care of our cat Shelby. She answered all our questions before dropping her off and expressed totally understanding of Shelby special needs requirements. This was our first time using the Rover service and Denise and family made it a very enjoyable first experience. Would definitely book with her again if needing someone to watch Shelby again!”

“This was our 2nd time in 2 weeks using Jennifer to watch our 2 small dogs. Im not sure our dogs were ready to leave when we picked them up!! It's obvious that Jennifer & her husband love dogs, plus they have a fenced yard. We won't take our dogs anywhere else!!”

“Loved her, she was really nice. She took care of my little maltipoo for 3 days and she was the best. She sent updates about her every morning and pictures. Definitely book her!!!! She’s great and she’s definitely gonna be my go to sitter.”

“Miranda was amazing with my Hazel. She sent me pictures and videos while I was on vacation and always made me feel that my little girl was safe and happy. Don't hesitate, send your fur baby over to Miranda for a mini vacation or extended stay. Shes the best”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs basicly all my life. I currently have an Australian Shepherd that is five years old. He is good with other dogs. He has separation anxiety, so I know how to take care of that as well. I work full-time at the University. I go on daily walks with my own dogs. I’m pretty free after work. You’re dog will feel at home:) I have a fenced in yard and I live in a house, so I have plenty of space for your pet. I also make sure that they get plenty of exercise.
“Great communication and our dog had a great time! Olivia made our dog feel so comfortable and she came back home very happy. We will definitely use Olivia's services again.”

“Definitely recommend!!! Very considerate and prepared! Thomas made a great impression on me from the moment I met him at the door with my pup. He carried himself with confidence and handled my energetic and stubborn boy well which made it easier for me to leave him in full confidence that Thomas could take care of him. My dog can be a handful and I knew he needed a confident handler who knew dog behavior and was capable of taking the leadership position while I was away…Ryker does not listen to baby talk and only responds to people who take authority. From what I could tell, Thomas provided this structure and Ryker responded well to him. Thomas also took the time to walk Ryker again before I picked him up because he knew we were going on a long road trip. Would definitely book with him again!”

“James was amazing! He kept me updated about my dog while I was out of town and took very good care of him. James is very trustworthy and I will bring my dog to him anytime I need someone to watch my dog.”

About: I have a large, fully fenced backyard and work from home, so your dog will get plenty of attention, playtime, and easy potty breaks throughout the day. My friendly 70-pound Golden Retriever loves to play, too. Your pup may even make a new best friend! I do have a 4 year old daughter who loves dogs. Please let me know what your dogs temperament with kids is. I work from home and make sure my own dog gets at least two walks every day, but more often three or four. Between walks, there’s a huge, fully fenced backyard for fresh air, playtime, and room to explore. Your dog will get plenty of exercise, attention, and company from my playful Poppy, too! I provide a warm, attentive home environment where dogs get lots of company and care throughout the day. I work from home, so I’m available for regular potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles. I am able to crate if that is needed. I make sure each dog gets the attention, exercise, and care they need.
“Natalie was amazing with our pup! You can tell she truly loves what she is doing. I would not hesitate to ask Natalie to watch our pup again, as she will be our go-to sitter.”

“Alexis treats our girl like her own and we love her! She communicates daily and shares pictures of their adventures. We absolutely love Alexis, thank you for keeping our girl safe and happy!”

“Christin was absolutely fantastic with my dog, Lucy. She was incredibly flexible with both drop-off and pick-up times, which made my trip much less stressful. Communication was outstanding throughout the stay, and she sent plenty of photos and updates that gave me complete peace of mind. Lucy had recently undergone surgery, so she required extra attention while wearing a cone and taking medication. Christin handled everything with great care and compassion, and I could tell Lucy was in excellent hands. Her home was clean and welcoming, and the large, fenced backyard gave Lucy plenty of safe space to explore and play. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Christin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive dog sitter!”

Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Slayden.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
