About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am currently on summer break from graduate school, but I take five- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. I am attentive and responsible for my pets needs, and take pride in ensuring that the animals I care for are happy and healthy. I have a nine-year-old mixed breed dog who enjoys her daily walks and sunbathing on the deck, but does not enjoy the company of other dogs very much.

About: I'm an empty nester specializing in large breed dog care (along with everything in between❤️) I offer early morning, late night, and weekend availability and lots of flexibility. I have over 20 years of regular early morning walks with my own dogs and my clients’ pets. I understand and value the importance of being outside with our best friends. Our pets are part of our family and would treat yours the same. I currently have two Shiloh Shepherds, Echo and Arya, along with my “Granddog”, Zorah, a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix, with all three of them weighing over 100 pounds. I treat them with the best care and travel with them whenever I can. I have a home in the woods with 13 acres along the Monocacy River. It is a dog heaven for our pets where we hike, walk, and play in the water and in our the woods every day. I have a totally flexible schedule that allows me to housesit and do daily drops ins and walks throughout the day, week, and weekends. I’m an experienced dog walker walker with a regular pet schedule that allows me to work around your needs. I can handle any size dog and any age pets. I’m reliable to adhere to your pet’s need and schedule. I know the importance of being outside every day and of providing a consistent and enhanced life experience for our pets.

About: As the go-to person for friends in need of dog-sitting, I recently figured "Why not expand?", hence my decision to register with Rover. Setting dogs and their people at ease brings me joy! I've had two dogs over the past 20 years: one slightly demonic and requiring special precautions, and the other a big, gentle galoot. Both absolutely stole my heart. I work from home and am available for walking (give me allll the exercise) and sitting (give me allll the cuddles). I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I'm around to give attention as needed, 7 days/week. I'm an early riser (6:30 give or take), so early walks or breakfasts would be no problem. I have a fenced yard that would be secure for all but the most accomplished escape artists. Your pet would have full access to all parts of the house (including furniture). That said, if crating, furniture restrictions, etc. work better for you and your dog, I would happily honor your typical rules and routines.

About: My experience and education ensures the safety of animals of varying temperament levels and backgrounds. I enjoy the process of building trust and confidence with animals through approved training methods/mental enrichment activities and using non verbal cues in a playful and meaningful way. Because I don't own any pets of my own I'm able to assist pet owners when they're away from home. I often accept requests up to 3 months ahead of time but, if possible, I will accept same day requests. Many clients value how I communicate and ask if I'm a trainer (I'm not certified yet) because I handle animals so well. You can expect detailed observational updates twice a day accompanied with photos and videos.
