About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. Safety and security are always at the forefront.

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me and remains one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I currently have my own dog, who I adopted as a puppy while I was in college and is now 4 years old. Raising her has given me experience with training, building routines, and understanding different stages of a dog’s development. I also have experience walking dogs that pull and can confidently handle strong or high-energy pups while keeping walks safe and structured. As a medical student, my schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to thoughtfully plan pet care into my daily and weekly routine. While there are periods of time when I am less available, I’m committed to clear communication about my availability and will always work to accommodate your pet’s needs as best as possible. Time management is extremely important to my academic program, and I bring that same organization, dependability, and attention to detail to pet care. I take pride in my work and practice compassionate, attentive care in everything I do. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and value the trust you place in me to care for them. In my home, I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I currently live in an apartment located directly across the street from a dog park with both large and small dog areas, which allows for convenient, safe, and appropriate exercise based on your dog’s size and temperament. The neighborhood is safe and very pet-friendly. I’m attentive to maintaining each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications or special care needs. I make sure pets receive both physical activity and plenty of attention and affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize consistency and respect for your space. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and maintain your pet’s usual routine to minimize stress. I’m also willing to travel or make special trips if your dog attends daycare, has a preferred park, or enjoys a specific walking route. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable and cared for as possible, wherever they are.
