About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and truly treat every pet like part of the family. I’m a fourth-year medical student finishing school, so being responsible, attentive, and communicative comes naturally to me. I also have two very friendly dogs of my own and understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone you fully trust. What sets me apart is the amount of love and attention your pets will get while you’re away. Dogs are welcome on the couch, cuddles are guaranteed, and if they’re used to sleeping in bed with someone, I’m happy to keep their routine as normal and comforting as possible. We also have a great yard for playtime, zoomies, and getting energy out safely. I know being away from your pets can be stressful, so I make it a priority to send daily updates and lots of pictures so you always know your furry family member is happy, safe, and loved. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, medication routines, and of course kitties too! I’m currently working full-time from home during my research year before residency, which means your pets will get lots of attention, supervision, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. My schedule is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate walks, potty breaks, feeding routines, medications, and plenty of one-on-one time. Since I’m home most of the day, pets are rarely left alone for long periods, and I love keeping owners updated with pictures and messages so you can feel comfortable while you’re away! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I offer boarding in my home as well as drop-in visits and walks at your home. Since I have two dogs of my own, I currently only take up to two guest dogs at a time so every pet gets plenty of attention and supervision. At my home, dogs have a fenced yard for playtime, cozy indoor space, and lots of supervised attention throughout the day. We use leashes any time we leave the yard or go on walks. My own dogs are friendly, well-socialized, e-collar trained, and have strong recall, but I always do slow introductions and monitor play closely. I’m also happy to crate your dog if that is part of their normal routine, especially for meals, sleep, or downtime. My goal is to keep your pet’s day as familiar, safe, and comfortable as possible.

About: I worked at a cat rescue for 11 years and can provide references. I loved taking care of the cats, and I started IV's for hydration, administered transdermal medication, and pills, when necessary. There is a dog park I can take them to across from my building and I love doing pet photography for the owners. I have a lot of experience dogsitting through Rover and have trained a 1 year old Pitbull puppy. My schedule is very flexible. I am able to take on sitting gigs with very little notice. I really enjoy looking after the cats and dogs. I love taking the dogs to the dog park at my apartment and can also take them on hikes with me if that is allowed. I don’t own any pets of my own but I do love taking care of the animals and can send frequent updates. I keep treats on hand and give them filtered water.

“M.K. And their partner are always fantastic! They are always so accommodating to late requests and time changes. Sprout has stayed with them for day care and boarding when we were out of town. I plan to use them when we go on a Europe trip later this year. While I do think there could be a bit better communication I also recognize that M.K has a life too and I think that a lot of these reviews fail to see M.K. as a human just as we her clients are. So ultimately I don’t see any negatives to having my boy, Sprout, stay with them. I really cannot say enough high praises about M.K and their partner. Sprout is always super excited to see them! He always comes home well socialized and exercised. I know he is getting plenty of enrichment and love while there, and so so much fun! I love the photos I get everytime he’s with them, especially when he’s boarded there while we are out of town missing him! The daily photos really gives us assurance. Sprout is a very energetic dog and I truly feel that they are able to help him get all of his energy out in a healthy fun way. I’ve tried other dog day cares before and sprout always came back filthy and TOO exhausted, it was worrisome. He’d come back with wounds as well. I never have to worry about any of that with M.K. They are able to help my boy pace himself and take rests when he needs them. I really feel that the negative reviews are harsh. I cannot recommend M.K. Enough and I am incredibly grateful we have found them! We and Sprout will definitely be a life client!”

I would love to take your dog on walks, visit the park, play with them, take care of them! I am currently home full-time and am available for drop ins or house sittings when needed!
