“Sammi was absolutely spectacular!! Our Mini Aussie and cat are very iffy about strangers. Getting our dog to not only allow her to take him out but to get our cat to make an appearance we can only assume was magic! She certainly knows what she’s doing and took good care of our animals like they were her own! We will Certainly will be booking her in the future and can not speak highly enough!!”

“Payton was prompt and on time for all of the scheduled visits. She was great to work with and did a super job caring for our 12 year old dog. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Stephanie is great with our older kitty who has health issues. I feel comfortable leaving our baby when I have to travel because I know she’s well cared for, and Stephanie’s updates keep me in the loop. Highly recommended!”

“Skyler was great! Extremely friendly to both me and Daisy (the pup) when we all first met! You could definitely tell she loves what she does. With the pictures she sent me while on the walk, I could tell Daisy was very comfortable by how she brought one of her stuffed animals with her outside. I highly recommend Skyler and I will be reaching out to her again and again in the future!!”

“Marissa does a great job handling my 5 girls. 4 take medication and 3 are terrible about eating when mama isn’t home. She takes on the challenge and my girls seem very happy with her! I will continue to rebook as long as she is available!”

“This was my second time booking a cat-sitting with Savannah. Great communication and fabulous updates/pictures on how my cat was doing while I was out of town. Would highly recommend! My cat loves hanging out with her!!”

About: My big sister was a Dalmatian my mom had before I was even born. My first cat was at age 3. Since birth I have been around and cared for many different types of animals. They range from the dogs and cats in my family, my grandparents horses, to the various small, furry, AND scaly critters I've kept over the years. Currently have a dog, cats, fish/shrimp, a frog, a snake, and geckos! Let my love and encyclopedia of animal knowledge be used to your advantage! Currently work through the week at 11am and am usually home by 8pm. Off Sunday and Monday, so weekends are perfect! Willing to do walks in the evenings and morning check-ins throughout the week. Large yard, not fenced, walking distance to dog park. Clean, respectful, and trustworthy when in other's homes. One dog and 3 cats coexisting happily at home. Experienced with caged animals and reptiles/amphibians as well.
“My pit mix can be a little weird with strangers, but Alaska handled him so professionally and was so great about letting Max out and updating me. Definitely would use her again!!”

“Katy was great and did an excellent job of watching my cat Gaia while I was out of town for a few weeks. She communicated well, was thorough, shared pictures of Gaia and made sure everything was in order. I would definitely recommend her and have her watch my pets again!”

“McKenzie took wonderful care of our dog Nala while we were away for the weekend. She communicates well, responds quickly, and sends lots of pictures. Absolutely will be booking with her again for our further trips. You can trust that your fur babies are in excellent hands with her!!”

“Alicia was incredible and took amazing care of my cat Gumball. This was my first time leaving him for a while, and he was well fed and happy every time he got a visit!”

About: I have experience taking care of kittens/puppies and senior cats (21 years old). Have an exotic pet? No problem! Raccoon, rabbit, bird, chinchilla, etc. I’m willing to take care of them. I am available after 4 pm every day and love to do drop-in visits! I can do home sitting on all weekends since Friday night. If you want to board your cats at my place, I can have a separate room just for them. No kids, no dogs, no smoking, big home with fenced backyard. I have 3 super-friendly cats myself, and they get along well with other cats. If your furbabies are shy, I can set up a separate room for them. If they love making friends, my cats will keep them busy.
About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and have owned cats for nearly 8 years. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to check in, feed, walk, and spend quality time with their pets. I pay close attention to each animal’s personality and energy. Some pets want play and need lots of attention, while others need space and patience. Rest assured, I’m comfortable adjusting to both! I also have hands-on experience giving medication to both cats and dogs, including daily care for my diabetic cat and my dog with her regular medication dosages. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and, of course, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to help with walks, playtime, or just keeping them company! I have a very flexible schedule right now, which allows me to be available for drop-in visits, walks, and extended care throughout the week and weekends. I am currently taking classes, so my routine is consistent but adaptable. I’m able to plan my day around your pet’s needs and stick to their usual schedule. Whether that means regular walks, feeding times, or check-ins, I make sure your pet gets reliable and consistent care. I focus on providing drop-in visits to keep your pet comfortable, and I am very dependable with schedules to make sure your pet stays on their normal routine.
“I had a great experience with her as Bobby’s sitter. She was thorough, attentive, and followed all of my care instructions. It was clear that she genuinely understands cats and their behavior. Bobby approached her almost immediately and quickly took a liking to her. He loved playing with her, and I really appreciated that she spent quality time keeping him company during each visit. Knowing he was getting attention and interaction—not just food and litter care—gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. She also went above and beyond by helping feed the feral cat that regularly visits my front door, which I really appreciated. After every visit, she left detailed notes and updates in the Rover app, so I always knew how Bobby was doing. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and knowledgeable cat sitter.”

“Arabella was great! She was conveniently close to where I lived and was amazing with my pup Leo. She also was helpful and willing to clean his crate out when he had accidents. I know that’s expected/part of the job but still can not be fun obviously.”

“Taylor was amazing with my two dogs, Lucy and Mia. She was very in tune with their needs and recognized when Mia was feeling anxious and immediately let me know that Mia was a bit stressed out. She did an amazing job. I highly recommend her!”

Payton was perfect! Our dogs and cat were in great hands while we were on vacation. Our pitbull, Bella, is a little nervous with strangers and Payton and even came out to our house to meet her before we left town. Bella warmed up to her and I think that just shows how good with animals Payton is. She came to the house 3 times a day just as we discussed! Would definitely hire her again🩷

Katy is professional, knowledgeable and dependable. She always does a great job handling our 3 cats. She is able to meet them at their various social levels from super friendly youngster, to mostly friendly teen to our older "seen it all and not impressed" cat.

Morgan responded quickly to my inquiry and was happy to help. When I needed to drop a day due to sickness she was accommodating and so nice about it. She was patient with me as I hadn’t updated my instructions like I meant to and still took care of everything I needed her to. I definitely will be hiring Morgan again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
