“Kayla did a fantastic job caring for my 5 cats, 1 foster cat, 5 fish, and even 3 snails! It gave me peace of mind having her stay in my home giving love to my babies while I was away for the week. Knowing they weren't alone let me enjoy my vacation even more. She is a sweet and caring person and even sent pictures of my babies while I was away :) I'll definitely being calling again! Thank you Kayla!”

About: I have grown up my entire life with dogs. I am a huge animal person and seem to get along with every animal I meet. I have experience taking care of many different types of animals so nothing really throws me off. I am a full-time student but am currently not working. I have plenty of time to give your animals the care and attention they might need. I have two dogs of my own so I do not allow others in my home but I take dog and cat attention very seriously. They need much attention so as not to become bored or under stimulated. I will follow instructions to make sure your fur baby has everything they could need.

About: I’ve always had animals growing up, including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish. I have a very strong love for animals, especially dogs. Dogs seem to love me, and I love them right back!! I work part time, and I also am a full time student. I will always make time for your dog, no matter how busy I am. I think dogs are humans.. lol When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a comfortable space to relax, provide regular exercise, and give them plenty of love and attention. If I'm caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their instructions and maintain their pet's routine as closely as possible. Safety and well-being are always my top priority! 🐾❤️
13. Julia P.
About: Hi! I'm Julia and I am a 23 year old recent WVU grad. I was raised on a farm in Virginia and have grown up with dogs, cats, and a variety of animals. I have years of pet experience and love pets of all shapes and sizes! As a pet parent, I understand how hard it can be to trust another person caring for your babies. I am a firm believer that pets are just another member of the family and should be treated as such! I work full time and my schedule varies, however, depending on your needs I have some flexibility! I am mostly unavailable in the afternoon during the week but am available early morning and evening time. Just reach out about my availability and we can figure something out. You will always find your home just the way you left it! I will always follow your instructions and treat your pet just like they're one of my own. I am also happy to send you pictures and updates if desired!

17. Benjamin S.
About: Growing up with dogs and cats, I have always had four-legged friends underfoot. For neighbors and friends, I have taken care of dogs, cats, parrots, finches, rabbits, and a few others including scaled friends. I know how important regular exercise is for animals and enjoy taking my own dog to a few local parks for solo hiking. If your animal were interested in this I would be happy to drive them (with a dog-friendly seatbelt) to similar parks. As an adult pet owner, I have gotten used to administering oral medication. I am open to learning to administer injection medication, as well. My own dog is reactive and I have a couple of friends with reactive animals, so I am open to meeting others, as well as learning everything you do to take care of your own. While I have not taken care of snakes or spiders/insects myself, I am open to learning and have worked in a college biology lab where we took care of turtles, frogs, and a few other critters. with being in school, I am mostly free, except for weekday evenings. My mornings always start with feeding my cats and taking care of their space and then tending to my dog before I get started on my own tasks. While I won't take care of animals at my own home, due to having my own pets, I would be happy to either house-sit, walk, or check in on yours. If you choose to, I'd love to take your dog out to the local parks and walk trails with them. When watching your pets I will do my best to keep them on the same daily schedule that they are used to. Regular picture updates are a promise too!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, & ages since I was old enough to remember. Friends and family have always relied on me when it comes to taking care of their fur children. I work as a RN full time, doing 3 12 hour shifts a week and I love playing with my own dog during my off time. I have a yard which my dog enjoys playing frisbee in, he’s never leashed outside at home as he listens better than most humans I know. I’m well aware of leash manners too if your dog is better on the leash in new environments.
19. Emily K.
About: I’ve taken of small, medium and some large breeds of dog and many cats over the years. I have been responsible for feeding, walking, kenneling, and caring for pets overnight (if needed). I have evenings and some weekends free and can provide care as needed while you’re gone from home. I’m willing to let your pets out and provide them with love and attention. I can easily crate your dogs if needed or make sure they stay in designated areas. I am also comfortable walking your dog on a leash or playing in the yard.
20. Martha S.
“Martha’s compassion for animals is unmatched. She has been, & continues to be, very patient & gentle with my more anxious/reactive pup for the last 8 years. There is no one else that I trust more with my two dogs than Martha!”
