“Sarah is caring and compassionate with us and our dog. She provides us updates on how our pet is adapting to his new environment. Our dog loves being with her pets. It’s like a play date for him.”

“This was our first time boarding with Amber and we couldn't have been happier. She was extremely accommodating with our timeline and provided pictures & feedback throughout our girls visit... this put our minds at ease allowing us to focus on a family matter. Our girl came home happy & tired!!!”

“Megan did a fantastic job caring for Stevie. We had a thorough conversation beforehand about her needs, expectations, and what to bring, which immediately put me at ease. She sent regular updates and photos throughout the stay, and it was clear that Stevie was happy and well cared for. She absolutely loved spending time with Megan and her dogs, and I’m sure he’d be thrilled to stay with them again. It truly felt like leaving him with a trusted family member rather than a sitter.”

“Melanie and Eric were so loving and caring with our anxious and reactive boy Walter! It was Walter’s first time away and I knew he was in good hands. They sent updates and were very responsive to messages. Couldn’t be happier!”

“Took great care of Khoda; Spent time with him, took him for walks, kept me updated daily with photos of him, he definitely did not want to come back home lol Thank you again for taking care of my dog and ensuring his attention-needs were met. I'll definitely be in contact for future trips/vacations, I know he can't wait to come back and see his human and dog friends again!”

“Brandi really gives me a comfortable and carefree vacation! When my kitties come back, I see them really happy and cheerful, growing big for a little bit. I know they must have a great time there!”

“Mark has watched my two dogs countless times now, and they always recognize him and run up to him like he’s one of their favorite family members! I always feel confident and comfortable that they’re in great hands while I have to be out of town! I will ALWAYS trust Mark to be the one to watch my dogs in the future when he’s available!”

“Jessica is amazing! She has walked Luke many times in the past and we always had a great experience with her. This time we were going on vacation and took Lukie to her for boarding. She was really great! Kept me updated the entire time and sent me pictures and videos, Luke had an amazing time and even became friends with her kitten. I would definitely recommend her. I was at ease knowing Lukie was well taken care of. She treated him like if he was her own pup.”

“Tiffany was amazing taking care of my Tinkerbell. She was super responsive and provided frequent, daily updates. I never went without photos of Tinkerbell the whole week she stayed with Tiffany, which I appreciated very much. Tinkerbell clearly became comfortable very quickly in the new environment. I would highly recommend Tiffany with her caring, compassionate demeanor.”

“Michelle and Luke were the best! This was our first time leaving Lucy with anyone and their warm hearts and great communication helped calm me down. They really cared for Lucy like she was a part of their family and she was very well taken care of during her stay at the farm. We will definitely use them in the future!”

“We had Amber watch our dog for our daughter’s wedding weekend! It was the first time she met Stella. We were very pleased with Amber and her family. She was kind enough to communicate with me over the 3 nights and she even sent pictures to us. It was a huge relief to know our dog was being taken care of so well ! We will DEFINITELY be booking again with Amber!”

“I have tried another local, highly recommended boarding place. My dogs would come home traumatized. I went on a search for a new place that would show patience and love towards my dogs, as my dogs do not trust people quickly. Christina and Daniel meet that requirement. From the get-go, they showed the extra patience and love towards my dogs. Christina & Daniel were very good at sending updates and pictures of the dogs. I could see from the photos that my dogs were happy. They were very good at responding to my questions, which gave me peace of mind to enjoy my vacation. I highly recommend Christina & Daniel. This is my new favorite boarding place for my dogs.”

“Jen was awesome! Our doggie Noel had so much fun! I love that she kept us updated the whole time. She also works with you on drop off and pickup times, changes in schedules, etc. She helped make it a pleasant first experience for us and for Noel. Her home is a perfect setup. We couldn't have been happier. We highly recommend her for future clients. We will be using her in the future for sure.”

“Solar and his roommate Calvin are incredible. They took the best care of my senior dog who has a lot of special medical needs. I felt so comfortable with both of them watching him!”
“Nicole was absolutely wonderful taking care of my older & impaired dog, Pepper!! I could not ask for a more caring & loving person to help me out while I was away for over a week! I highly recommend Nicole and will definitely be using her again!”

“Lauren & Taylor did a wonderful job caring for my dog. They sent pictures and updates each day, took her for walks and she was a happy pup when we went to pick her up!!! Really appreciated them!!”

“Joni is so kind and a wonderful caregiver for our dog. He’s nervous arrived new people, but she is patient and made us all feel comfortable. He was all smiles at his stay there.”

“Brittany is so nice and caring! She kept my fur baby Addie for the night while we were out of town. Brittany gave me updates and sent me pictures so I knew how Addie was doing. Addie lost her rabies tag in Brittany's yard but Brittany found it and sent it to us! Brittany and her family took good care of Addie :)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, & ages since I was old enough to remember. Friends and family have always relied on me when it comes to taking care of their fur children. I have a yard which my dog enjoys playing frisbee in, he’s never leashed outside at home as he listens better than most humans I know. I’m well aware of leash manners too if your dog is better on the leash in new environments.

“She was able to watch my dog on very short notice and willing to give meds not noted on my profile as they were only temporary. She sent lots of photos, was very responsive, and it looked like she treated my dog like her own. 10/10 would have her watch my pup again - thanks, Sophia!”

About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.
