About: I've been taking care of so many animal friends since high school. My first job was working for a veterinarian. I was the kennel caretaker, making sure everyone was fed and walked (for dogs) and played with and such. The "cat room" was always my favorite. I would make sure the kitties would all get attention. It was the highlight of my shift. And I continue to bring joy to the kitties and puppers (as well as myself) through my pet-sitting duties. Now that I am back in Fairmont, I am free with a decent amount of notice for most pet care needs. My schedule is extremely open and flexible--I just need enough time to secure transportation. At home, I have a sweet and needy tabby named Billy Porterhouse. He is very easy and likes to sleep and eat treats and "patrol" the house. My parents' dog Madde is a black lab who puts up with Billy, as best as she can. I have been a trusted sitter for my close friends back in NYC and have gotten close with their dogs and cats. Always respectful of their space and am trusted with multiple keys and key codes, as well as feeding and medication schedules.

About: I have cared for friends and families dogs often over a five year span! I am affectionate and patient and love to entertain with all kinds of pets! I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I’m available in the evenings and the weekends and I’m not opposed to staying overnight to keep your fur baby company. I have reliable transportation, and I am friendly, and patient and have a huge heart for animals. My children are college age now and I have more time to on my hands and live animals so this was a natural fit!

About: I’ve been caring for family dogs my entire life, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and personalities. I handle everything from daily walks and playtime to vet appointments, grooming routines, and maintaining proper diets. I’m patient, dependable, and treat every dog as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I work full time, but my schedule is very flexible and I’m usually done by 3 or 4 p.m. This gives me plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. When caring for pets in their own home, I always make sure to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or medications—and give plenty of attention and affection. I respect your space, keep things tidy.

He responded immediately and we were able to arrange a meet and greet the same evening. Lucille is a large/strong dog and can be difficult on walks, but Kayden handled her well. He updated with pictures on each visit. Kayden also noticed when my cat was out of food and took the extra time to feed her. I will definitely use him in the future!”

About: I’ve been a dog mom for almost a decade. Have two pups of my own and enjoy playing with them in our big open yard. I am currently a stay at home mom so caring for dogs is already built into my day because I have two of my own. We treat dogs as part of the family. About: I’ve been a kennel attendant for 5 years, also have 6+ years of veterinary assistant/ technician experience. I graduated with a two year animal science degree in may of 2009, I’m comfortable doing daily medications, such as flea and tick pills, insulin, antibiotics, any topical medication, etc... animal lover of every kind, big and small. My pets include, a 14 year old lab, 7year old Chiweenie, 3 year old dachshund corgi mix, 16 year old chihuahua, 6 year old German shepherd,2 year old mini dachshund, 1 year old mini dachshund, and a 4 month old pit bull. I also have 3 cats in my home, 5 year old mainecoon , 3 year old Sibirian Ragamuffin mix, 4 year old domestic short hair calico. who are very spoiled and love company. I work well with potty training of puppies. Also do well with older pets who need extra time and love. My pets enjoy the company, and also help me with play time and potty breaks through out the day. Please consider me. I’m currently working full time at a local veterinarian, so my schedule varies but I always make time to care for your pets like they’re my own. I have a flat yard that is completely fenced in with 4ft high chain link. Potty breaks often as every 2 hours, plenty of toys and treats, kennels if needed for night time and if I need to leave my house for any period of time.

About: I have been a pet mom for a long time. I have 3 dogs of my own but I am also able to help with snakes, hamsters, and cats. I currently work as a scribe for WVU medicine. My daughter and I are partners in our dog walking business so we will be able to meet your needs. Your pets will receive the love and care I’d give my own pets. I have been employed full time in the veterinary field as an assistant for almost 4 years and have truly found my passion for caring for our furry, scaled, feathered, and hairless friends. I'm trained in all kinds of care and truly love what I do. Pets comfort and happiness mean the world to me and being able to care for them has beena. dream come true. If you are looking for someone who will provide your pet with fun and safety while bringin you comfort while you are away you've come to the right person! Currently I am working full time in the veterinary clinic and due to emergencies and surgical schedules my schedule can be a little weird. For this reason I am not always available on the same days. But I keep my calendar updated so if I am marked open feel free to book! If ever there is a scheduling conflict I will reach out with ample time so you can find another sitter! I believe in fear free care for animals and let them tell me what they’re comfortable with me doing. I personally own two dogs that are behavioral cases. One being very high energy with severe anxiety and the other an aggressive dog with unpredictable tendencies around strangers. Because of this and other animals in clinic I have become very aware how to read canine and feline body language and know when they are telling me "no!" I believe if an animal does not want to do something they never should have to unless it is for their own good. Your pets will never be put into dangerous situations!

About: Hi! My name is Kayla S. I am a recent graduate from WVU with a B.S. in Animal and Nutritional Sciences, as well as in my second semester of veterinary school. I have had a dog my whole life, and had shadowed/assisted at a veterinary clinic for 3.5 years! I took a service dog training class, so I know a bit about training dogs. Also, I have given my dogs, as well as some of the dogs at the clinic medications before. Unfortunately, I can not work from my home because of my two animals. I am willing to go to someone’s house based on the times that work and be with the dog! I can do walks, dog park, interactions with some of my dog-loving friends (if the dog is comfortable with that, etc. Currently, my schedule is very open. I am available every day of the week, at any time (excluding some appointments in the future , etc.) I care for other people’s pets based on how the owner would like me to. Everyone has a different level of comfort they feel for what they want their animals doing or not doing.

About: I am an experienced and responsible pet owner and I realize pet owning is a life long commitment. I consider my pets as members of the family that are spoiled. I am a special education teacher so I am available to offer pet care Monday-Friday in the evenings and anytime on Saturday and Sunday. I am also available for pet care on holidays. I own approximately 2 acres that allow pets to run in a safe environment. I also live on a country road that is perfect for dog walking. I can also crate your dog if needed. I allow my small dog on the furniture and in my bed. My big dog has a large bed that she loves. Lastly, I understand how much you will miss your pet while you’re gone so I’ll send daily pictures and updates.

About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for 4 years. I offer many in home services, more than just pet sitting/walking. I offer nail trims, anal gland expression, ear cleaning and more!
