About: Hi there! I’m Courtney – lifelong animal lover, seasoned pet parent, and your pet’s next favorite human. 🐾 From fluffy kittens to wise senior pups, I’ve cared for just about every kind of furry (and finned!) friend you can think of - cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits… basically everything except the slithery and scaly crew (sorry, lizards and snakes, you're adorable but not my specialty!). With a lifetime of experience and a current household that includes four cats and two dogs (yes, it’s as wonderfully chaotic as it sounds), I’ve seen it all - from zoomies and belly rubs to insulin shots and joint supplements. I’ve raised pets from their earliest days through to their golden years, including those with special needs like hip dysplasia and diabetes. Administering routine meds and providing compassionate, attentive care is just part of the package. I know firsthand that pets are family, and when you're away, you deserve peace of mind knowing your beloved companions are safe, happy, and well cared for. Whether your pet is a snuggly couch potato, an energetic explorer, or a quirky little character with special routines, I’ll treat them like one of my own. Let’s make your time away as stress-free as a sunny nap in a windowsill. ☀️🐕🐈⬛ I have a flexible daytime desk job, allowing me to set my own schedule and typically wrapping each day by 5p so my evenings are free. I'm happily married and my husband also works a flexible day job so he is able to hold down the fort with our pets and teens so that I can take care of your family when you're away! I'd love to provide your pet with drop-in care that suits their individual and unique needs, whether that's going for walks, playing in an enclosed yard, or hanging out for a bit for belly rubs, cuddles, and treats. I'm flexible to each pet's needs and want to be sure they feel loved and cared for in your absence. And of course, it's important to me to be sure they are in a clean, safe, fed environment during the times that I'm not there - whether that means making sure water dishes are full, messes are cleaned up, doors are secured, temperatures are comfortable, etc. I've worked with pets who prefer crate-training to those who are allowed free reign, and am comfortable with whatever YOUR structure is for your pet. If they're happy, I'm happy.
“Jonathan and Jen did a great job once again watching our dogs with a last minute request. Great at communication, timely visits with photos and most importantly, the dogs are always happy upon our return. Highly recommend”

“Andra was awesome and took great care of our 2 cats while we were away for six days. I don't even think our cats even missed us. We would definitely use her again for our next trip. Highly recommend!”

“Noah came to our house and checked on our two dogs three times! He was respectful of our home, and so sweet to them, and took amazing care of them and gave them tons of love and attention. He was on time, in no rush, and fulfilled all of my requests and more. Noah was so friendly and kind—We would 100% have him care for our dogs again!”

“Kelly did a fantastic job of taking care of my cats while we were away! She took great pictures of everything while she was visiting, contacted me right away when she had questions about some things, which I greatly appreciated, and even pulled packages and mail inside so it wouldn't pile up while we were away. She's super reliable, very friendly, and so easy to communicate with! Highly recommend!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Westminster
Courtney was a perfect first-time Rover experience for our family! She sent frequent updates and went above and beyond with our cat's care. Courtney even went as far as to offer to check on the house after a particularly nasty storm. Thank you so much for your care and attention!

OH MY GOSH!!! Even though I have extensive experience caring for animals, I have never hired anyone to take care of mine. I had a unique situation and was desperate for help. If I was not able to find care, my daughters and I would not have been able to attend my brother's wedding. I found Sam's profile pretty quickly and didn't need to look any further. I see why she has all 5 stars and numerous repeat clients. She was timely with communication, thorough, considerate, compassionate, on time, responsible, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. If I ever hire through Rover again, Sam will be the person all others will stack up against. My brother's wedding was wonderful, and Sam made our trip possible. THANK YOU, SAM!!!! :)

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Westminster. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 93% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
