About: [Please note: I am back in Maryland for this season.] I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life, whether in my own house or my neighbors’. I’ve become used to both the chaos and peacefulness of pet caretaking, and I’m always ready to learn something new. In terms of dogs, most of my experience has been with small to medium or slightly large dogs, but I’ve spent time with all types and am excited about new experiences. I’ve walked dogs and pet-sat for neighbors as the majority of my paid experience, and I’m looking to expand outside of my neighborhood. As someone who goes to college in another state, I am often in Maryland during the summers and winters, where I have extra love to give to pets (there aren’t many on campus)! While back home for summer or winter vacation, I have a very flexible schedule and love to go walking, which is why dog walking and pet sitting suits me perfectly. My other job is during the school year, so it doesn’t interfere with my summer/winter schedules. That means that I am available most days of the week, and I will try to be as accommodating as possible for my clients. As someone who’s grown up with pets, I regularly help with feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up their litter box or taking them to the bathroom, administering medicine when necessary, along with any other additional care that they need. While working with clients, I write down any specific instructions they have for me and build a consistent routine, especially if I am pet sitting. I understand that different animals have different schedules and needs, so flexibility and safety is my priority.
About: From house sitting and petting sitting for neighbors when I was young, to fostering pets for the past 5 years, and caring for friends pets when they go away, I have always enjoyed meeting new dogs & cats and caring for them, feeding them or administering medications, playing with & walking them, or just sitting & talking with them, even bathing them! Saturday through Monday my schedule is open to care foe your pups! Tuesday and Thursday I am available from 12:30PM, and Wednesday and Friday from 2PM onwards. My complex has a dog park where I can regularly take them for bathroom breaks. I don’t mind dogs on furniture or beds but I am happy to adjust my style to however you care for your dogs at home. I have a trail very close for long walks and play time.

“Jim and Mary were awesome with our pup. They sent me pictures throughout his stay so I could see how he was doing. He was very comfortable with them and when we picked him up, he acted the same as the dog we had left. (we had previous experiences where he was skittish for a few days after staying with a previous dog sitter) Jim and Mary treated our Camden as if he were their dog. I would be comfortable leaving our dog with them anytime and plan to use them again in the future. I highly recommend them!”
