“Thank you sooo much! Vinny was well cared. Eileen sent photos and specific details about what Vinny did and the time frames she was with him. I'm so excited to know that Eileen is such a great pet sitter!”

“Christine took wonderful care of my 3 cats and she kept me informed about their daily activities. These were drop-in visits to my home for 16 days while I was on vacation. Would definitely use her again.”

“Justin and Stephanie are great! They are super punctual and you can tell they really care for the dogs. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy petsitter while you're away!”

“Mason was a phenomenal pet sitter. She was able to fulfill my need for a pet sitter during a holiday weekend, given less than 2 weeks notice. Mason gave prompt reports on my cat and even fed my aquarium fish and watered my indoor plants. She was patient with my feisty indoor cat, responding mindfully to my cat’s communication cues demanding space. I highly recommend Mason! 5/5 stars”

About: ⭐️ Meet and Greets with new clients ⭐️ DETAILED updates with photos/videos ⭐️ Extra Cuddles and Playtime ⭐️Seasoned in professional pet care Hi! I’m Savannah 🤍 your pet’s new favorite sitter (and probably their future bestie 🐾) I’m new to Rover, but I’ve always had a deep love for animals and truly enjoy being around them. At home, I have a sweet cat named Athena, and have always been raised around dogs so i definitely understand each one is different. I’m also a stay-at-home mama to my daughter—so I have a very flexible schedule and lots of time to give your pets the love and attention they deserve. I don’t just “check in” on pets—I take the time to learn their personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for. Whether they’re playful, shy, or need extra patience, I meet them where they are, giving them love, attention, and playtime so they feel happy and at ease while you’re away 🤍
About: I’ve have always had a dog & cats since I was a child. I love all pet cuddles! And meeting new friends. I have one dog and two cats at the moment. I've dog sat for my friends and coworkers when they need someone to be with their babies for nights away or random drop ins to check on them. I'm looking for a fun way to make extra money and i couldn't think of anything better then spending time with dogs & cats while doing that. I work four days a week but it’s flexible! I’m available everyday after 2pm and if I have a good enough heads up I’m available 24/7 I can give you references of people I have house/pet sat for in the past. I’m comfortable crating your pet if needed. I’m easily available on my cell phone when I am pet sitting. And I can send updates whenever you would like.
About: I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. I currently own two standard Goldendoodles and foster cats/kittens for the Hero Rescue. I have been an animal lover since I was a small child. I have patience with pets that need some time adapting to a new person in their area. I work full time so pets that are crate trained would work best for boarding in my home. If you would rather me come for drop ins I can stay and make sure they are fed, have water, get play time, and plenty of love while I’m there. Dogs in my home would have a fenced in yard for supervised potty breaks and play time. I also have enough space to throw a ball/toy for fetch inside for extra exercise. They would have my 2 Goldendoodles for company but any boarders would need to be crate trained so I don’t have to worry about them getting into anything while I’m at work. I also have cameras in my home so I can check in on everyone throughout the day. Drop ins would get attention, love, and play time while I’m at your home with them.

About: As dog owners, we understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pets. We have two dogs and truly enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds. We know that pets are family, and we strive to provide dependable care and regular updates so you can have peace of mind. We look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐾 I currently work in HVAC but there are 1-2 days a week I typically have off so on those days I would have a good amount of availability. Also have weekend availability and holiday. I don’t plan on transporting or bringing dogs to my house but I can do any care plan you would like at your house.
“Marian did an incredible job watching our two large dogs. She was incredibly prompt in her responses from pre booking through every check in. I appreciated the level of detail she wrote with the check in reports and all of the pictures! Of course I’m a worry wart, so I was pretty nervous the entire time but with Marians excellent communication skills, I was quickly put at ease. I’m very thankful to have someone I wholeheartedly trust to watch our dogs in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for about 10 years now. Whether it was a neighbor, family friend, or anyone who reached out for assistance, I love being able to help them out by taking away the stress of finding someone to watch their beloved animal. I’ve also been volunteering at the Williamson County Animal Shelter! I always make sure to do everything asked of me above and beyond while taking care of another’s pet just as if they were my own. While I love taking care of other’s animals, I also have 2 of my own that I love deeply!! Their names are Dakota and Kristof! Because I would want to be able to have a strong reliability on someone while watching my dogs, I will without a doubt make sure you can rely on me to do the same for your animals! I will be as flexible as possible working with your schedule with communication. I have school and work a part time job, but I’m still available early mornings, most of the afternoon, and weekends. As long as you communicate with me, I will try my absolute best to work with my schedule for you. I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your animal company. I will make sure to keep an eye on your animal wherever we are to make sure they are the safest they can be!
About: I'm a dance teacher who loves animals! Doesn't matter the size or amount of floof, I want to meet and care for your furbaby. I treat all pets with the love and respect they deserve. Know that when you leave them in my hands, I will do everything I can to make them feel happy and at ease in your absence. As a pet owner myself, I understand the amount of trust you give over to me and I will strive to exceed your expectations for excellent service. I have owned pets most of my life, unfortunately I can not have any dogs where I live, but I have started walking dogs within the last year so that I can meet as many as I can. I look forward to meeting your sweet pet.

“Both our dogs liked Lillian from the first meeting, and that helped us dog parents deal with our separation anxiety. Lillian was always prompt to arrive at the appointed times. Our dogs were healthy and happy when we got home. We’ll ask for Lillian by name next time!”

“Cassandra is wonderful! She did a meet and greet with us and our cats prior to the appointment. We had her drop in for our cats while we were away and she took great care of them. - 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
