After meeting with Justin I was more at ease..till drop off day..then it all hit..Justin kept reassuring me that stratus would be fine and I felt better..but when I got the 1st update and I saw him playing with other pups and that goofy husky tongue hanging I knew he was ok. “Superb experience in all aspects. Initial inquities, booking process and all communications were expedient and clear. This was the first time boarding for our 7 month old puppy (song with his 4 year old "sister". Alexandra having experience with Great Danes was so very helpful and made our fur babies feel welcomed and loved. They especially enjoyed time with the girls! Unfortunately (for the sitters) the weather was rainy throughout, but Alexandra and daily were up to the challenges of wet pups with muddy paws. In addition, the younger one's night separation anxiety required some medication and thoughtful handling, all of which was accommodated and communicated with ease. The dogs were extremely well cared for and loved, and we received regular updates. Simply put, we couldn't be happier and will definitely use their services again whether for short or week long needs in the future. We recommend them with absolute highest praise and confidence!”

I do not have classes until fall 3 days a week however my class times allow me to care for animals before, in between and after classes I have two cats and two dogs in my home. I request the dogs be crate trained as my dogs are and will sleep in their crates at night. I also have leashes and a big neighborhood to go for long walks if staying with me. If I come to your homes I am very cautious and will leash the dog in the house before even going to the door. I always check the outside before opening doors incase other animals are near. If you have a fenced in yard I always stand outside with the animal to keep an eye on them.

I came home to find my fur kitties happy & in great condition after a 10-11 day vacation. The house was exactly how I left it. Lauren even went above & beyond for items not expected. I was happy my cats didn’t have to go to a small daycare cage & could be out & about relaxed at home. Plus I didn’t have to worry about them picking up any issues at daycare from other animals, haul them all in their carriers back & forth or stress them out. I have multiple kitties and one with allergies who needed individual feeding attention. My one super shy cat had a tooth concern the night before we left & Lauren was even able to check him, which we were surprised because he lets few close enough. When Lauren came to the house for the first time my usual friendly fur babies came right up to her & were happy with her presence. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. There has not been a time I have not had a dog. I help out in a dog kennel sometimes bathing and playing with the dogs. I do not have a job right now so I am home most of the time. I do leave the house in the morning and afternoon to care for my horses. I have a big back yard that is fenced in. I make my own schedule every day so i am pretty much free Monday through Sunday each week. I will make sure I update the time slots that are booked as clients start scheduling their appointments. All small and medium-sized dogs will be more than welcomed to roam freely around my living room kitchen area and are allowed to sit and lay on the couches as well. The floors are hardwood so even if they have an accident of pooping or peeing on the floor it will be alot easier for me to clean up on the hard floors than the carpeted areas. They will be allowed to come into my bedroom or any other room as long as I am in the room supervising them. I will take them outside to potty every 2 hours timed from the time they arrive until their scheduled time of leaving. You can feel free to bring their favorite toys they love to play with but I will also be purchasing brand new toys that I'm sure your dogs/cats will love to play with.

I've raised puppies, cared for kittens, and even handled medications when needed, so I'm no stranger to what animals need to feel safe and loved. I come to your home so your babies can stay in their own space, in their own routine. Every animal is different and I take the time to get to know them. Big or small, they all get the same gentle, attentive care. I just genuinely love animals, and that's something you'll see the moment I meet your pet. I'm always happy to set up a meet-up before booking so we can connect, your pet can get comfortable with me, and we can make sure it feels like the right fit for everyone I recently graduated from Arcadia University with my Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. While I study for my boards and prepare to move back home to Washington, I have time on my hands and want to spend it doing something I truly enjoy. Right now my days are completely open, which means your dog gets my full attention. No rushing off, no squeezing them in between a busy schedule. I'm there as long as they need me. As the mom of two very needy rescue dogs, I completely understand wanting your babies to have someone around as much as possible, and right now, I'm in a position to give exactly that! Since I will be in your home, my first priority is to respect whatever routine and rules you have in place for your pet. I am happy to provide as much or as little entertainment, snuggles, or space as your fur baby needs. When it comes to walks, I'm no stranger to dogs that pull on the leash or get reactive around other dogs. I've handled strong, reactive animals before and I feel confident and calm managing them.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life from small pets to large dogs and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I grew up helping friends and neighbors with their pets, which gave me a solid foundation in handling dogs of all sizes and personalities. Now, I have a 1.5 year old Lab named Knox who’s full of energy and love. He keeps me active, patience’s, and always on my toes! I also have a 9 year old cat named Levi, who brings a calm, loving balance to our home. I have empathy for those who having to leave their animals so safety is a top priority for me when pet sitting. I work my primary job from home so my schedule is able to adjust pretty well to accommodate all of my client's schedules and needs. I do not over book myself to avoid issues with emergencies, other visits running over time, etc. I do start a timer at the beginning of the visits, but I do not intently stare at it or scramble to leave as soon as the time is up. I have a questionnaire that I ask all current and future clients to fill out. It asks about feeding, schedule, behavior, quirks, exercise, hiding places, trash bins, etc. to ensure that I can be prepared to handle anything that comes up. For example, I follow your instructions to the T with regards to feeding, whether it's wet, dry, raw, mixed, home cooked, or something in between.
About: I’ve been around animals all my life, & I can’t wait until I’m in a situation when I can finally have my own dog again. I’m knowledgeable about pet care & animal behavior, have great attention to detail, & enjoy learning more. I love every critter I meet (although I am partial towards chihuahuas & pits) & I have yet to meet a dog that didn’t like me. My family always had dogs growing up, & I have experience caring for a variety of dogs of different ages. I’ve only had two pet dogs that went through their entire life cycle with me, & my most recent doggo was a shitzu who came to me when she was 11. I spent her last few years trying to make her as comfortable & happy as possible. That’s the goal for every animal I care for. While this is obviously a job, & I do need the money, I genuinely enjoy getting to be helpful, to make someone’s life easier, & to, of course, spend time with dogs. I figure if I have to have a side hustle, it should at least be rewarding!! Thanks for reading!! I am a waitress- I usually work full-time, but it’s the slow season & we have a server surplus at the moment. I’m currently only scheduled for 3 night shifts a week, so my schedule is pretty open. Even on the days I do work, I would be able to check-in & care for the dogs before I go in, & can check on them afterwards as well if needed. Basically, I currently have plenty of time to fit in pet care. I am comfortable staying at someone else’s place; it would be nice to have a change of scenery every once in a while. Of course, I will treat your house with respect & be sure to leave it as it was when I arrived! If they wanna chill & sleep, that’s fine with me, but if they’re really active & need to play, I will play fetch & tug-o-war for hours on end. I have a car & supplies to take care of a dog if it is needed (snacks, poop bags, leash, blankets, first aid kit). I’m familiar with dog breeds & behavior & am aware of different training techniques so I’m not worried about being able to manage any dog- like getting them in their crate at the end of the night, or establishing a relationship with them, etc. I will care for your pet the way you want, but above all I will always care for an animal with the utmost respect & love, 💕
About: im very passionate when it comes to taking care of animals. i also read a lot when it comes to how to take care of a specific pet. however, i can’t say im an expert but i am also willing to go beyond my limit by learning more through experience. i also take notes when it comes to what are the do’s and don’ts of each pet since they are also like human beings that have specific needs. i have experiences in dogs, cats and even rabbits. i currently have a cat at home and 3 rabbits that i personally take care of and i love each and every one of them. rest assured that i will also give the love and safety you’re pet deserves in my care
About: Growing up I was always involved with the care and grooming of my mother's AKC American Cocker spaniel kennel and quickly fell in love with dogs. I've helped deliver 3 liters of puppies ensuring every fine detail of the process was done properly. I've assisted and led many rescue missions for strays and wildlife. I currently care for three rescue rabbits Layla, Monty, Zuko and one beagle/JackRussell mix, Copper. I'm lucky to have all my pets in my life and they truly enrich our lives for the better. After meeting with Justin I was more at ease..till drop off day..then it all hit..Justin kept reassuring me that stratus would be fine and I felt better..but when I got the 1st update and I saw him playing with other pups and that goofy husky tongue hanging I knew he was ok. “Superb experience in all aspects. Initial inquities, booking process and all communications were expedient and clear. This was the first time boarding for our 7 month old puppy (song with his 4 year old "sister". Alexandra having experience with Great Danes was so very helpful and made our fur babies feel welcomed and loved. They especially enjoyed time with the girls! Unfortunately (for the sitters) the weather was rainy throughout, but Alexandra and daily were up to the challenges of wet pups with muddy paws. In addition, the younger one's night separation anxiety required some medication and thoughtful handling, all of which was accommodated and communicated with ease. The dogs were extremely well cared for and loved, and we received regular updates. Simply put, we couldn't be happier and will definitely use their services again whether for short or week long needs in the future. We recommend them with absolute highest praise and confidence!”
