About: I have had dogs on my own for 10 years. I have been around animals (cats, dogs, ducks, fish, gerbils) since I was born! I have always helped take care of every animal. I am an animal lover. I am a teacher so I am off during the summers! I will be able to come to the house to take them on walks, feed them, play, etc. for multiple visits a day or just one random time. I am flexible and understanding! I can take dogs on walks or play with them!! I can relax with them, feed them, and entertain them with toys and treats! Keeping them happy and comfortable is the main goal!

Emily K.

“Emily was excellent! She took extra steps to ensure our dogs were well taken care of while we were gone. She went out in the yard with them and threw the ball, which is their favorite. She also updated us about how each visit went and attached pictures. When she left, she left goodie bags for the dogs which included their favorite things. I highly recommend Emily and will use her again in the future.”

About: I’ve grown up with all sorts of dogs (energy & size wise) my entire life. I know how to deal with all different personalities. I also work full-time as a dog bather at a pretty popular dog grooming place around my area, so I have my fair share of dog experience! I am available for the given days on my profile- but can make accommodations given the circumstances. I currently work 9-4 on my available days at the dog groomer. I am always available to stop by and check in if needed. Although I do bartend/waitress most weekends- if need be- I can accommodate, though it is usually longer days and nights where I will not be available. We have a huge fenced in back-yard and a doggy camera (that also dispenses treats!) to check in when not home. Our golden now also loves car rides- so my car is set-up for a car ride if your dogs enjoys those.

About: I have been around dogs and cats almost my entire life. We currently have 2 dogs. A rescue Beagle named Natalie and a purebred Deutsch Drahthaar hunting dog named Roscoe. I am a stay at home parent, so my days are mostly free to stop in and care for your pets. I also have the ability to house sit, should that be needed. I am comfortable walking and exercising your dogs. I have experience with crate training, training collars, and smart fencing. I am comfortable with giving medications, preparing special diets and some lite grooming.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 10 years! I took care of my own German shepherd/lab mix growing up, I’ve dog sat for neighbors and friends, I’ve done drop in for potty breaks, feedings and walks, and now I have 2 fur babies of my own! I’m currently working a full time job and a part time job, but both jobs are M-F. I’m available most weekends. I do going camping every now and then and have a few more trips planned but otherwise I’m available! I do not have a fence in my yard. I have trained both of my dogs to stay close by using an e-collar. If your fur baby would like company, I have two VERY energetic and VERY friendly pups that love playing and making new friends! We love the dog park if you are comfortable with it!

Kathleen C.

“Kathleen was very kind and patient with our reactive dog. She was honest with how our dog reacted to her and made sure not to push her so she didn't make her uncomfortable. We would highly recommend Kathleen.”

Marian C.

“Marian was wonderful! She was super responsive and is one of the best sitters we've found on Rover. Despite our needy kitties, she didn't seem to have any issues (and we got a lot of great photos each visit).”

Desirae S.

“Desirae was wonderful with our dog! She arrived early and followed all directions with great communication. She even took cute pictures. Highly recommend her!”

Cassandra N.

“Cassandra was a wonderful sitter who is motivated to connect with any pet and make them as comfortable as possible. Her communication is excellent, and always provided detailed updates on how our pet was doing without us. She also provided photos with every visit which was extremely helpful. We would definitely reach out to Cassandra to watch our dog again!”

Christine P.

“The most wonderful experience with Rover I’ve ever had - it was truly a blessing finding Christine. I almost feel hesitant to leave this review, only because I don’t want her to be too busy with other clients so I can keep her for myself ? LOL! From the bottom of my heart, I can express nothing but the truest gratitude for how well Christine cared for my two dogs and cat. She sent me pictures and descriptions of each drop-in visit, and even went as far as cleaning up their anxiety- driven diarrhea mess from the carpet and taking our garbage to the curb. If you’re looking for someone to truly care for your animals, this woman is the real deal and I honestly cannot recommend her enough! Thank you beyond words, Christine, for loving our babies as your own.”

Jefferson T.
“To Whom it May Concern: It has come to my attention that Jefferson is being considered for employment at Rover.com for home care of pets. I cannot possibly recommend him highly enough. And here's why. I first met Jefferson in 2004. He was tending bar at my local restaurant that I visited regularly. As is not uncommon in NYC, we chatted frequently and grew to know each other. He shared that he was seeking to adopt a dog. As a veterinarian, I certainly had a lot to say! "Adopt, don't shop!" And he did! He rescued the most beautiful of pups. As they grew closer, so did I and Jefferson. Over time, Jefferson and I became more than 'bartender' and 'patron'. We socialized, we ate, drank, shared our time, thoughts, and friends. He has spent many a holiday meal at my table. One day he shared with me that his beloved, Zsa Zsa, needed her nails trimmed. Not only that, Zsa Zsa had been to, er, many local groomers AND veterinarians for this simple procedure and been denied subsequent services in the future. Evidently, Zsa Zsa was, to put it kindly, a BIT stressed. She absolutely HATED anyone touching her feet, let alone trimming her nails. Jefferson asked for my help. So, we gave it a go. I came to his apartment and did the absolute unthinkable: "NEVER LET A PET OWNER HOLD THEIR OWN PET". Do you know that this simple act is the most commonly pursued and most successfully won legal act against veterinarians? Yet here I was, doing just that, not even within the protection and support of a veterinary practice, with assistance, but with this random guy and his dog in his own apartment. Yikes. Well. Between the two of us we were able to calm little Zsa Zsa enough to trim her nails, give her treats and offer her post mani-pedi comfort. Jefferson never batted an eye and fully held up his end of the bargain. From then on, I arrived at his apartment for doggie mani-pedi duty once a month. His calm demeanor made all of this possible, safely. Since then, I found myself in need of care for my own pets. As you might imagine, as a veterinarian I am not only a bit selective, but of course I have pets with special needs. Special diets, prescription medications needed in food as well and given orally directly, specific needs in potty/litter box care, you name it. Not only was Jefferson able to handle all of these specifics, he did it with empathy and care so that no need was overlooked and additional comfort was provided and accepted by nervous pets. He has the touch. He has the care. He has the experience. And he has the X factor that allows him to successfully communicate with even difficult pets in order to help them. I cannot support Jefferson enough in his endeavor within your company. If you need to reach out for any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Best regards, Mary”

“Lauren did a wonderful job taking care of my two high maintenance kitties! She went above and beyond cleaning vomit, scooping my litter box and even noticed when my flowers needed a watering.”

Cynthia M.

“Cynthia is awesome! We needed her for an extra day and she was totally there for us. She kept us informed about Happy with each visit including pictures.”

Jessica N.

“Excellent service, very friendly and took good care of my 4yr old rotti. Will use again.”

Theresa P.

“My girls (cats) were happy and playing like idiots when I got home. I didn’t get the cold shoulder or any angry surprises. That tells me Theresa and the girls had a great time and I wasn’t missed. Thank you Theresa for being so awesome !!”
