About: I am currently a vet-tech student. I am fear-free certified. I know the scramble for pet care and how scary it can be to trust someone new with your pets. I hope to ease those fears and you can know your pet is getting the care they need. I am currently a student so my schedule varies, and I am looking for a part time job to fill in some gaps. This would also provide me the flexibility ot take on pet-care when my schedule allows so that the care level is never compromised. I will adhere to any rules or weird quirks your pet may have developed. For example growing up our dog would only eat if you made him think it was cooked the same way human food was cooked. We had to do a whole thing on the stove to seem like we were stirring it to fully cooked. I will always be mindful of any openings in yards and be sure they're closed off or that the pet is leashed properly before any door is opened.

About: I really love being around animals as they bring a lot of joy. Over the years I have pet sat for various family friends, co-workers, colleagues, and friends of friends pets. While pet sitting not only have I been responsible to feed the pets, give them water, let them out to relieve themselves, clean up after the pets, and take them out for a walk but I also have looked after the house. Additionally, I have been working for a company so couples beloved dogs can attend their weddings. Previously, I have volunteered by fostering dogs and dog walking. I am available most weekends and off most holidays. I do work full time so if it is anything during the week I do not get home until after 5 pm. Anything during the week I need to know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly. I would care for your pets as one of my own. I am flexible and come to your pets home so they are comfortable in their own environment.

About: My care for animals is rooted in my nature. I have spent 28 years loving and caring for dogs, cats, and livestock like sheep and goats. I currently volunteer at the Ulster County SPCA weekly doing dog and cat socialization. I bring genuine passion, care, and patience to each pet that is in my care. I am available for pet visits and walks from 6am to 11am and 8:30pm to 10:30pm during the week. My availability on the weekends is much more flexible. Let’s chat and come up with a plan. With over two decades of animal experience, I know that trust is earned, not assumed. I take time to read each pet’s cues, honor their boundaries, and follow your established routines. About: Growing up with 6 dogs in our home at once, I have a special connection and love for animals. Working with rescues, pure breed dogs, females in heat and knowing how to whelp, has given me plenty of experience. I have been boarding dogs in my home for over 7 years. I am home full time, with the occasional errand to run. There is a place to hike, with great trails, right up the road from my home. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can run, play and hangout in the sun. I live on 9 acers, for us to explore and go for walks. I have dogs of my own, so your dog will have plenty of socialization and play time. Raw food diet or special dietary issues are not a problem. Meet and greet is required for all potential stays.

“Christina provided excellent care for our cat Odin when we were away for 2 weeks. We hired her to come in twice a day to feed him, play, and grab our mail. She sent us pictures and updates every day, and you could tell that Odin was having a great time. When we came home she had taken the cans out to the recycling, his litter was clean and he had recently been brushed. Best of all we had a happy cat who had been well taken care of and it showed. Also worth noting is that throughout the hiring and care process she she has been very prompt with communication, responding within an hour (usually less) which is a quality that I appreciate.
