About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was about 10 years old. I currently volunteer at our local animal shelter and have a dog of my own I rescued in college. I also rescued a cat when I was a bit younger and working in the foster system with cats. I genuinely love pets so much and have experience with older pets, administering medication, puppies, and even aggressive dogs. I’m currently working full-time for the leasing office at the property I live at. I love my job because my own furry companion comes to work with me everyday. I have completely free time on weekends to care for your furry friends and am free most weekday afternoons and can make windows of time throughout the week. My dog and I live in an apartment building and he was crate trained when he was a puppy. I would walk your dog using whatever harness/leash you prefer making sure their paws are safe and are well taken care of. I can give them enrichment time from doing training, playing with toys, or running around outside if there is a place they can do so safely.

“I was very nervous to let my greyhound have his first ever doggy day care day. After speaking with Paul prior to the stay, my mind was put at total ease. When we arrived Paul had a great setup for watching over my hound including a gated courtyard. He took the time to answer all of my questions and allow my hound to settle in, which he did quickly by exploring Paul's home. I used Paul's services for 2 days in a row while vacationing in P'town. About: I am currently a vet-tech student. I am fear-free certified. I know the scramble for pet care and how scary it can be to trust someone new with your pets. I hope to ease those fears and you can know your pet is getting the care they need. I am currently a student so my schedule varies, and I am looking for a part time job to fill in some gaps. This would also provide me the flexibility ot take on pet-care when my schedule allows so that the care level is never compromised. I will adhere to any rules or weird quirks your pet may have developed. For example growing up our dog would only eat if you made him think it was cooked the same way human food was cooked. We had to do a whole thing on the stove to seem like we were stirring it to fully cooked. I will always be mindful of any openings in yards and be sure they're closed off or that the pet is leashed properly before any door is opened.

About: If you have an athletic or active dog, we are the hosts for you!!! Trips to parks (on and off leash), running the trails, and swimming in a Lake will happen every day. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I have a very open schedule. Usually I go to the park go with my family who enjoy the day doing things outside the house. If you have a last minute appointment or you need anything on the same day I do take them I have a very open schedule one works in the morning and the other one works in the afternoon so your pet will never be alone. I had pets before they pass away. We used to love our pets so much. We took CPR classes and emergency classes for pets just in case.
About: I absolutely adore and love dogs, but I also respect all dogs. I provide lots of love, safe and stimulating play time and walks. I’ll go for a hike with your dog! I have worked with police dogs and at a high end pet resort/cage free boarding facility, Highland Pet Resort, where we board various animals-dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, hamsters, Guinea pigs, etc. We also provide doggie daycare and do play group assessments/evaluations to see if A dog can successfully play (no dog aggressive) and match dogs with other dogs based on their play style, energy level, and temperament. We also provide grooming from a groomer with her own business, where I've helped her with challenging dogs and have asked her advice on grooming and such. I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I also have worked with dogs and cats for 10+ years in various settings. I have also taken care of, primarily pet sitting walks, play time, and feedings with active and retired police dogs over the last 10+ years. Often times their commands were in different languages (so civilians wouldn't know what commands were given) so I am flexible with learning new languages. I know how to give most meds including insulin shots and am accommodating to special needs whether it's feeding, excersizing, old age, medical, physical, or a dog or cat who just wants snuggles and cuddles! No dog to big or small. I'm pretty flexible, can work around my work schedule. I also have access to resources such as grooming, trainers, etc. This is my part time job, so on my days off from my main job i have more flexibility in the frequency of dropping by and walks. The days I walk I will drop by as close to the beginning of my shift (depending on when my shift is) and definitely immediately following my shift. For in homes/pet sitting I will be there right before when I have to be at my shift and immediately following my shift. I'm trained in pet (cats and dogs) first aid and CPR via the red Cross as of November 13, 2018! With me your pet will have fun and lots of love! I’m pretty flexible. I prefer at least a days notice for drop ins so I can plan my next day with drop ins/walks accordingly to give each pet enough time for loves and pets! I do have other dog walks during the day, so for house sitting requests, pets need to be able to be left alone anywhere for about 5-6 consecutive hours a day (it’s typically about 4.5 hours a day, but sometimes I pick up extra. And also it depends on location/distance between your house and my dog walks) and traffic. I will also sometimes have a late night dog walk (anywhere from 9-1030/11 pm) so your pet would need to be ok with me leaving and returning around that time) Regardless of it being house/pet sitting, drop ins, or walks, I always provide each animal with snuggles, lots of pets, play time. I always make sure that their water bowl is filled with water before leaving.
About: I've been petsitting for almost 20 years and I was able to adopt a sweet senior mini-schnauzer in 2021 named Marty. Marty LOVES other dogs and we would love to keep your dog company while you're out of town. I'm on vacation for the summer so we would love to host your fairy friends for a visit for a day or overnight. I'm available during the summer/school breaks and on weekends during the school year (I'm a teacher). I'll have lots of time for walks, belly rubs. I live close to the rail trail and the walkway. Dogs are welcome on the couch and to sleep with me. If they are more comfortable in a crate, I've got room in for that too.

I was born and raised in a rural part of northern NJ where we always had a wide variety of animals as well as 2-3 dogs at any given time; predominantly German Shephards. (We also had fish, cats, chickens, horses, rabbits and more!) I have a strong love and appreciation for all animals, but especially dogs, and would love so very much to take care of your pet while you are away. I love going outdoors and being physically active and would love to share outdoor playtime with your pet. Why I love dog sitting I've had dogs my whole life. My family predominantly raised German Shepherds - and we typically had 2-3 dogs in our family at any given time. Dogs have always created a special connection and friendship for me that is irreplaceable! My experience administering medication Yes - so long as the owner feels that it is appropriate and manageable. My schedule is quite flexible, so I have time in the morning and mid day to attend to animals and take them for a walk, give feeding, attention, etc. - As well as flexibility in the evening to give dinner, evening walks, etc. At the moment I am not accepting pets in my home, however, I currently don't have any animals of my own so if I do board pets, they will be the only animal in the house.

I have a special place in my heart for dogs, but am a lover of all animals and have experience with cats and bunnies as well. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I am a college junior currently at home for summer break. I will be taking two vacations in the next few months, but other than that my schedule allows for extremely open and flexible hours! I approach all pets with gentleness and respect, and i make sure to provide ample time for them to get used to my presence before interactions. I follow instructions thoroughly, so detail there is always appreciated, and I like to be in consistent contact with owners in case there are questions, concerns, or updates. I understand strangers can be nerve wracking for pets and their parents, so I do my very best to earn trust and be patient!

“Chaqutia looked after my pup, Ralph, for just over a week. I was nervous about leaving him for such a long period of time especially as he was unwell. Chaqutia put my mind at ease instantly and sent updates multiple times throughout the day of both photos and videos as well as a report of how he did with his food and confirming he took his meds. Any questions I had or suggestions I made, she responded to promptly. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. She was flexible with both pick up and drop off times and really listened to our needs Her home is beautiful, large and on a very quiet secluded road which was reassuring as less traffic. Her family are truly lovely and her eldest child played with Ralph lots (particularly loved those videos) Would definitely use Chaqutia again and recommend her to others!”

“Janice was the absolute best when we left our mini dachshund Bean with her for a few days over the Christmas holiday. Bean is kind of nervous at times and requires a lot of human love and care which Janice and family provided in abundance. Usually Bean gives me the cold shoulder when I leave him overnight but he was not mad at all when I picked him up. The property is beautiful and Janice was extremely responsive including sending pictures! Would absolutely recommend Janice for anyone needing someone to care for their dogs.
