“Victoria is without a doubt the best sitter we have ever had for our cats on Rover! No disrespect to any of the other sitters we have had, but Victoria’s care for our cats paired with her thoroughness of making sure all their things are good to go is top tier service! For the first time in a long time I will feel comfortable leaving town for a bit if Victoria is our sitter and you better believe I will be rebooking with her when that time comes! If I could give her 10 out of 5 stars I would! I know our cats will be excited to see her again too!”

About: I have taken care of neighbors’ and grandparents’ dogs as well as my own. I love dogs more than most people and would do anything to protect them and keep them happy. As a college student away from my fur babies at home, this fits perfectly into my schedule. I have a lot of time on my hands until I start grad school this summer! I will just be taking the fur babies for walks as I am in an apartment that unfortunately does not allow pups. I will use safe paths or neighborhoods as well as any parks or fields that allow us!

About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I am socially awkward with humans, but I love animals. This will be therapy, a true gift, to me. I also need to exercise more and would like to be able to afford any kind of home, some day. My family has had pets since I was in kindergarten. I volunteered with Faithful Friends in High School, through which I also fostered kittens. I have taken care of my neighbors' & friends' pets while away over the years, which I equate to a collective total of ~2 years. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. I'm also happy to take care of a pet in your home, if preferred.

About: I’ve cared for small dogs my whole life — from playful puppies to sweet senior companions. Growing up in a home full of small dogs taught me to be patient, attentive, and in tune with their needs. I also help care for our big family dog, who’s a senior but still loves his walks and belly rubs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or giving medication, I provide reliable, loving care that helps your pet feel safe, relaxed, and right at home while you're away. I have free time most evenings and can also make time in the mornings. Since I care for my own cat daily, pet care is already a natural part of my routine. I'm happy to be flexible and work pet visits into my schedule — whether it’s morning feedings, evening walks, or check-ins throughout the day, I’ll make sure your pet gets the care and attention they need. I don’t offer pet care in my own home, as I have a cat who’s a bit territorial. However, I’m more than happy to care for your pet in their own home where they feel most comfortable and secure. I always prioritize safety, follow your instructions closely, and aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible when it comes to walks, feeding schedules, or just spending time keeping them company.

About: My experience is personal. Our family dog was aging and experiencing lose of bowels, not eating well and stiff limbs. I took special interest in her care until the end🐾 My calm demeanor is an asset in dealing with animals 🐾 I am usually busy with my own personal schedule after 4pm but I am also flexible if I am needed after 4pm. Advanced notice is appreciated. I have two dogs, a sheepadoddle and a shih tuz yorkie mix. I feed and walk them probably 4 times a day. Keep them clean (wipe them down after each walk) and make sure they have clean water.
