About: I’ve had a dog my whole life but I do not currently have one. I dog sit when I am home for college of all sorts. I currently work a part time job in my home town monday-wednesday. In july I will not be able to do anything 3-6 due to school. I build trust through gentle handling, clear communication with owners, and attentiveness to each pet’s needs. I currently do not have a dog of my own.

I have experience with all kinds of temperaments and sizes, and I’m confident in administering oral medications and reinforcing basic house training. I also have two cats of my own, so I completely understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy and compassionate looking after your furry family members. I briefly worked at Blue Pearl Vet Hospital in Pittsburgh as a kennel assistant so I have some experience on the medical side as well. I am a proud dog mom to three beautiful doggies. I have a very flexible schedule Wednesday-Sunday and am available morning, afternoon and evening. I am not available Mondays and Tuesdays. I can adjust my schedule to your needs! Safety and care is my number one priority. Both of my dogs are rescues from breeding at awful puppy-mill like circumstances so I really had to work with them to gain their trust. Kristen responded to my request immediately and was willing to drive 30 minutes after work to take care of Bogey. The visit was flawless, she followed directions perfectly, and we returned to a happy dog. His bully looks were no issue for her either. I also appreciated the pics she sent. We felt comfortable leaving his care in her hands and would do so again. Maybe with more than 7 hours notice next time ?”

About: I cared for 2 of my own dogs their entire lives. Puppies to elderly. I miss them so much. Now I have the time to help care for other fur babies who need it.
