“Margaret was able to help us last minute with house sitting for our dog, Bruin. She showed up when she said she was, she was great with updates & pictures and he was happy. We plan to use her again!”

“Adams was house sitting with our two dogs for 3 days. Everything was great, we called him every day to check on them and he gave us detailed reports, also sent pictures. We would definitely want to be his repeat customers.”

About: I have a dog and a cat, both are very friendly. I trained my puppy from 8 weeks old, and he is now a very sweet and calm 3 year old little man. I love dogs of all kinds, and many friends have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they are away. I have taken several training courses with my pup and can help teach your dog some basic skills too! I am a graduate student so I have a pretty flexible schedule. Typically I can work from home part of the day, and I rarely work weekends. Pet care is already part of my routine, and typically includes a morning, afternoon, and evening walk, potty breaks as needed, and plenty of playtime. I have a friendly dog who loves to play, but will match your dogs energy. My 11 year old cat prefers to be left alone and will likely not interact much. I am happy to bring my pup for playtime/walks at your house, or leave him at home if your dog prefers solo walks. I live in a two bedroom condo by myself, there are plenty of walking paths around, but no real yard. I don't like to do dog parks, as I have had some issues with aggressive dogs in the area and don't feel safe there, but love to take my dog on little hikes at places like Red Rocks and Shelburne Bay.

About: I’ve grown up caring for animals my whole life. I raised my own dog from puppy to 15 year old senior citizen and have been taking care of my friend’s and family’s dogs and cats for years. Whether your pup needs a brisk walk or a trail run, or your cat needs company while you’re away, I bring the same care and attentiveness to pet care that I bring to the hospital. I understand how important your pets are to your family, and I’m here to treat them like my own. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, following special diets, and maintaining a calm presence with shy or anxious pets. I currently have a flexible academic schedule and I work hard to fit in pet care throughout the day. I am almost always available first thing in the morning and in the afternoons/evenings and my mid-day availability varies by academic term From walks to house-sits, I follow the simple tenants of 1)“treat every animal as if they were my own” and 2) “treat everyone’s homes with the utmost respect”. Pet owners know best what their animals need so my top goal is providing whatever care that may be, safely, and in the environment that best suits each pet and owner.

“Elizabeth was wonderful. She answered any questions I had and asked anything she needed/was unsure of. My dog Lexi was very happy when we returned and everything was great! Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with dogs for the majority of my life, and have always loved spending time with ALL animals, big and small! Additionally I have experience as a dog walker. I consider myself very caring with great attention to detail. I want you to know that your pet is in the best possible hands with me! I will will give them lots of love, pets and play time and follow your instructions verbatim! My schedule is fairly flexible, especially in the evenings! I can do drop in visits or house sit. I’m currently not able to board pets in my home. I have reliable transportation and can come to your home for a drop in, or pick your dog up and bring them for a walk or for a visit to a dog park! I know my way around many trail systems here in the upper valley and I’m always happy to take your dog for a hike!

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, horses, cows, goats, fish, peacocks, etc. I’m very comfortable with animals of all temperaments. I was a competitive horse back rider, and during that time I took care of my stables other farm animals as well. Nothing phases me when it comes to animals! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK DOGGY DAYCARE UNLESS I AM ABLE TO WATCH YOUR DOG IN YOUR HOME 😋 I am currently working freelance so I am home most of the time. I have two dogs at home so I’m not able to do in my own home care! I have experience with many different animal personality’s and temperaments. I have cared for animals with anxiety, dog aggression ,food aggression, and separation issues. I am a major problem solver so I have yet to find an issue with a pet that I cannot resolve!

Lydia S.
“I have never met a more kind and caring individual in my life. I know that sounds quite extreme, but SOMEONE has to fill that role of people that we know in life, and Lydia is literally that person in mine. She seems to be a whisperer of all strays, misfits and displaced people and animals. Whether cats, bunnies, dogs, fishes, people, she exhibits no hesitation in giving love and care and kindness. She is well organized and physically fit and patient and is a wonderful and responsible carer; making sure everyone is well exercised, fed and watered. She also has no qualms about giving loving massages to even the dirtiest and stinkiest of fur babies. Calm of spirit and nature, Lydia is not just a caregiver, she acts as family and it was a pleasure to adopt and have been adopted by her in that capacity. She is a true gem!”

“Grace has a real passion for animals, especially dogs. She is an incredible dog walker, care taker, and sitter; she has plenty experience from having her own dog as well as taking care of others! In college, Grace helped some people we knew with their dogs. She went above and beyond to help take care of them, even practically owning of classmate’s dog because she didn’t have much time for him. Grace stepped in and would care for this dog day in and day out, prioritizing his needs and making sure he was cared for. All in all, Grace loves each dog as her own. You will not be disappointed!”
