About: I grew up in a family that loved animals and I've had pets my entire life. I know how hard it is to work long hours or be away from home without them. I have spent the last 18 years working with dogs and cats. I have managed a doggie daycare and boarding facility and worked for a humane society as a community outreach manager and volunteer coordinator. Besides loving on all the pets, I spent my time there teaching animal safety to children and providing basic animal care and dog handling lessons to volunteers. I have fostered puppies and helped feed and care for cats and dogs awaiting adoption. I am pet CPR and first aid certified. About: I LOVE dogs and cats! Growing up my family always had big dogs and fluffy cats around the house! I adore dogs of all sizes, but big dogs will always have a special place in my heart. We owned a Rottie/Lab mix, a Great Dane, an English Mastiff, and various Doodle breeds. We also had 3 Ragdoll cats. I currently have 3 Domestic Short and Long haired cats of my own with my fiancé and I love them dearly; but I really miss having a dog around the house. So helping people care for pets on Wag seemed like the perfect way to help me hang with pups! I frequently assist my friends and family with pet sitting, dog walking, and caring for their animals while they are away. Outside of animals, I work for The Department of State as a Legal Assistant and sit for 8 hours a day at a desk. Taking a dog on a nice walk or having a play session with pets sounds like a very pleasant way for me spend my time after sitting in an office all day. I also love to read, cook/bake, do yoga, play video games, and play softball on my women’s community team! I’m currently working a full time office job from 7:30am to 4:00pm, so I can be available on weekdays any time after 4:30pm or early in the morning . I can be available anytime on weekends with enough notice to plan. As much as I would love to help people board their pets, I can’t given the size of my apartment. My home is just for me and my cats :)

Chris was fantastic during his overnight stay with Olive and Davida! He took exceptional care of both of them, instantly tuning into their unique personalities and needs. Olive was in pure dog heaven—Chris kept her entertained with her favorite activities, including playing frisbee, going swimming, and even turning on Animal Planet to satisfy her complete obsession. Davida the cat was equally well cared for, relaxed, and content throughout the stay. Chris is reliable, attentive, and thoughtful, making sure our home and pets were in great hands. Chelsea was awesome with Loki and Callie. She took lots of pictures and gave lots of cuddle time. She was a real trooper with the awful heat and weather while we were away, including having to shelter and calm the dogs during a tornado warning! Elizabeth was great! Our dogs, cats, and fish tank were taken care of exceptionally. She last minute was able to administer an ear cream to one of our dogs every day while we were gone. She also helped with watering the outdoor garden. The house was in perfect shape when we came home after a week+, and the pets were perfectly happy!
Natalie was extremely communicative and sent us photos of our fur babies cuddling with her all weekend. They clearly felt loved and trusted her completely! She went above and beyond by doing tasks like washing towels and bedding at the end of her stay along with taking out the trash - things we NEVER would have expected her to do! We will 100% be reaching out to Natalie again!
