About: Hello pawrents! I'm Betsy, and I'm here to offer your fur babies a home away from home. When it comes to hosting your four-legged friends, there are a few ground rules. First and foremost, I want to emphasize that our doggie friends would need to be house trained, crate trained, and non-destructive. To make sure everyone including your and my fur babies are comfortable, I would prefer dogs that can be comfortable in the same environment as my cat. Excessive barking, furniture chewing, or other unexpected surprises are like 2020, let’s leave that behind. Now, why should you trust your beloved pets in my care? Well, besides growing up in a household that was practically a Noah's Ark (complete with kittens and puppies), I've volunteered with ASPCA and Queen’s Best Stumpy Dog Rescue. I know a few things about pet care, but I am not an expert. Living with housemates who had their own mini zoo of dogs and cats taught me the art of interspecies diplomacy. I've successfully negotiated treaties over squeaky toys and mediated disputes about sunny spots on the couch. So, if you're jetting off on a well-deserved vacation or just need a helping paw when life gets a bit too ruff, I'm here to provide a loving and secure environment for your pets. Let's work together for an ameowzing barkcation! 🏡🐶🐱 I work from home so I have a lot of free time aside from a few hours everyday that I’m busy with meeting. This means that I can give your furry babies the attention they want and deserve almost all day. This also means I’m almost always available to provide updates or be reachable when you need me. Please note that even though I'm available all day, I would discuss a schedule that works best for you and your baby. Frequencies of updates, play time, and potty breaks will be discussed prior to me accepting the booking. I follow instructions if you have detailed needs for your pet. I’m a methodical person open to technology when it comes to caring. I have a detailed itinerary that I can share with you that includes a list of questions that I will ask and note down any behaviors/schedules I need to follow. I will also, at minimum, provide an update in the morning and evening that includes detail such as how they're doing.

“Veronica recently watched my 9 year old male Boston Terrier (Morgan), as she came highly recommended from a close friend. Veronica was great! Veronica is fantastic with Morgan and he responded very well to her even when she administered his eye medications. All of the instructions for Morgan's care were followed (i.e. walking times and places, feeding times, medication times, existing routines). She came to stay at my condo overnight to watch Morgan for a weekend, and left my place in the same condition I left it to her in. I felt very comfortable having Veronica take the responsibility of caring for Morgan in my absence and found her very trustworthy to stay in my home by herself. I would definitely recommend Veronica and Morgan looks forward to his next time with her.”

She checked in often, kept me updated on how she was eating and playing, was quick to respond in regards to my concern about the tropical storm that was supposed to pass through, and followed the instructions I left for her without any issues. Bunny was happy and extra sweet when I came back, so safe to say I highly recommend Megan for ANY of your pet needs while you’re away! :)”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, small to big! My dogs are currently seniors so I’ve learned to take care of elderly dogs as well. I currently work from home, so I can take care of your pets at any time according to the schedule you prefer, and if need be it can be changed just by giving me a heads up. I have a schedule to feed my cats followed by some play time. My cats love to make biscuits while cuddling so I always make sure to have a comfy and soft blanket so they feel comfortable to lay down and eventually fall asleep.
