“Wonderful experience. I have 2 large dogs who I am always very nervous to leave. They both mean the world to me. Not everyone is good with large dogs. Amanda was not only Great with both dogs. I was always notified when she was at the house. She always sent me pictures and status on how they where doing. As I work from home, they are not alone often. So knowing how they where doing was very important to me. I finally found someone I feel comfortable leaving them with one the rare occasion, I do travel or a dropbye visit when the unexpected happens. I will definately use Amanda again.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, when I got my very first dachshunds—Peanut and Sweetie. By the time I was 9, I had adopted a shelter dachshund and raised two more dachshund puppies, bringing my total to five dogs at once. I personally trained all of them, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding dog behavior, especially with independent or energetic breeds like dachshunds. Throughout middle school and my teen years, I helped neighbors by dog sitting, walking, and doing drop-in visits, often just for playtime and companionship. One of the dogs I cared for regularly was a sweet senior named Duke, who I’d take outside and spend time with while his owner was away. These experiences taught me how to adapt my care for both high-energy pups and older dogs who need a gentler, more patient approach. In addition to my pet care experience, I am also a dancer, choreographer, and educator. Through years of teaching and working with students of all ages, I’ve developed strong skills in patience, attentiveness, and understanding individual needs—qualities that naturally carry over into the way I care for animals. I also have years of experience caring for cats—both my family’s and now my own sweet cat, Tom. I understand feline behavior, how to earn their trust, and how to create a calm, safe environment where they feel comfortable while you’re away. As a stay-at-home mom to my 2-month-old baby, I’m home often and have a flexible, attentive schedule. I truly value creating a calm, safe, and loving environment—for both pets and people. Whether it’s puppies, seniors, small breeds, or shy kitties, I bring patience, love, and reliable care to every visit. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. He had Gremlin be a lap kitty (which he isn't usually, unless he'sstressed) and gave him extra love. It was Gremlin's first time w/o his people since he lost his housemate Dany.
