“Wonderful experience. I have 2 large dogs who I am always very nervous to leave. They both mean the world to me. Not everyone is good with large dogs. Amanda was not only Great with both dogs. I was always notified when she was at the house. She always sent me pictures and status on how they where doing. As I work from home, they are not alone often. So knowing how they where doing was very important to me. I finally found someone I feel comfortable leaving them with one the rare occasion, I do travel or a dropbye visit when the unexpected happens. I will definately use Amanda again.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, when I got my very first dachshunds—Peanut and Sweetie. By the time I was 9, I had adopted a shelter dachshund and raised two more dachshund puppies, bringing my total to five dogs at once. Bella is 6 years old and weighs 33 lbs, while Chloe is 4 years old and weighs 68 lbs. I would love to care for your pet and provide them with a warm home filled with love, attention, and furry friends. I work from home several times a week. I am home on the weekends. While your fur baby is in my care, they will receive my full attention. While your pet is in my home, they will be loved and treated as a part of the family. They are welcome to sit or lie on the sofa, and I also have pet beds available if they prefer to use those or they can bring their own.

I know when I am away from my animals I love getting updates so I believe communication is key. I love sending photos and updates so when you’re not there you can still feel with them! About: I have been dog sitting with Rover for the last few months. Clients have enjoyed my flexibility, attention to detail, and bond with their dogs. Additionally, I grew up with a family cat, and have had my own cat the last three years. I’ve also spent extended stays at family’s houses helping care for dogs, cats, and a parrot. I love learning and paying attention to the unique ways animals communicate their needs and wants. Friends and family can attest that I can “read” my cat like a book, and have even taught him tricks such as sit, shake, and roll over. The key for me is establishing trust with the animal. With trust and reinforcement, I have been able to brush, trim nails, and bathe pets that even their owners struggled to manage. *Message me about light cleaning and household chores as well! I always change pets water and tidy toys if needed, but we can also discuss additional services such as wiping surfaces, washing dishes, and taking care of other household chores. I’m currently looking for my next job opportunity, so I’ll have plenty of flexibility to meet your pets needs. I’m available for weekday and weekend visits, any time of day - including in the early morning. With my close attention to detail, I will notice and notify you about any changes in behavior, and be sure to address any environmental hazards. Having had multiple cats over the years, I know all about pets rushing doors, or opening them in my cat’s case, and affinities for cables and small items finding their way into pet’s mouths. I keep all of these in mind when entering a new space, including my own, as I have moved several times with pets as a college student. And I understand how difficult it can be leaving your fur baby with someone new, which is why I value open communication about visits and behaviors, and pictures!

“Everything went so smoothly! I had to book Alexandria at the last minute but she was so quick to respond and easygoing about tbs late booking. Alexandria did a great job of giving Doug his meds and with keeping me informed on how the weekend went. I understand it can be difficult giving him his med since they’re time sensitive and given in a pill plunger but Alexandria was timely and easy about giving them to him. Reading the check in updates every day made me smile every time I got the notification! Great pictures too! Thank you so much for taking such good care of my cat!”
