About: I started pet sitting when I was 11 years old. I cared for my neighbors dogs for many years along with many other neighborhood dogs. Recently, I went to a professional canine training school where I learned to train competition obedience, scent detection, tracking, agility, and many other things. I’m currently working full time but I generally have the weekends free so I’d be happy to check on your pet while you’re out enjoying life! I have a fenced in yard and a pet dog. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, spending time cuddling with senior dogs, and playing with puppies! I am currently a full time student at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. I have a few hours during the weekdays for potty breaks and feeding, and I am available on the weekends. I am willing to pet sit overnight in your home on weeknights, as well as weekends. My apartment is not pet-friendly, so I am not allowed to bring your pets to me, but I will drive to your home to care for your pets there. I’m an educator, so my summer is free to take care of your pet! I have a vehicle, as well as a mini golden doodle who loves to play with other dogs. I am able to come to your home with my car, and I love going on walks anywhere. I play with cats and dogs with toys, and I make sure to talk to them and give them snuggles.

About: I have owned many dogs in my life time. I can deal with dogs who don’t do well on a leash as well as senior dogs. I am located in Iowa City I am starting a new job in the beginning of July so in the meantime I’m free every day for drop in visits or boarding. Once my job starts I will only be free Friday-Sunday I live in a safe apartment complex with a pad lock on the front door so your pet will be safe. Experience with many types of dogs.

About: I have been the go-to neighborhood dog sitter ever since I was in junior high. Now I live in Iowa City with my husband and field retriever, Oakley, and am ready to continue opening my home to your pets! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I work from home, so I am here all day for your pet. My typical routine with Oakley includes a lunch time walk and a post work hike at Hickory Hill. I’d love to bring your pup along for these adventures but can also cater to your pups individual needs/preferences and adjust as needed! We have a fenced in yard as well for the pups to run around in. I work full time from home, so I am able to attend to your dog throughout the day as needed. I typically play fetch or tug or something or the sort with my pup in the morning, take her for a walk ~1 mi walk over lunch, and for a 1-2 hour hike after work. I can adjust the level of activity as needed to match what you’re looking for! I have a fenced in yard (standard chain link so not suited for high jumpers) and an active pup for your dog to play with! I am comfortable crating your dog or leaving free roaming, whatever is your preference and your routine!

About: I grew up with 4 dogs - all different sizes and breeds. One of my dogs takes medicine twice daily for seizures. Because of this I have experience in giving dogs medicine if needed. One of my dogs is 16 so I also know how to take gentle care of senior dogs. I also have experience volunteering at the Animal Rescue League in Des Moines, Iowa. I love dogs very much and will do everything I can to make them feel happy and healthy. I’m currently working part time but I still have plenty of time throughout the week to help with your pets. I am available all day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I am also available on Weekends. My schedule tends to change but I am very flexible and can make almost anything work! I currently live in an apartment right next to a dog park. Inside the apartment I have one cat that gets along with anyone! I can easily crate up your dog or cat inside as well. Within others home I will be very respectful and follow your guidelines to a T! I will also try to be there as much as I can depending on what you and your pet need!
