About: I can read animal's energies well because I am an empath. I like to let dogs and cats sniff me before I pet them. I know that it's important to earn their respect. Every animal has a unique personality, just like human beings. I'm not going to say that I get along with every dog and cat out there, but I am an easy-going, creative, nurturing person and I love connecting with every animal I possibly can. If we get along, we get along. There's never a guarantee. I've pet sat many times and I really learn something new with every pet and pet owner. I never want to say that I already know everything, because I don't. I love taking dogs for walks. It's a great opportunity to connect and exercise. I like to discuss the needs of every pet with the pet owner before arranging plans. Meeting, in person, is often the best way to determine whether your pet(s) and I are a good fit. 😄 I have a reasonably flexible schedule during the week + the weekend. I think that caring for others is an important mission for me to fulfill. This includes caring for your fur babies when you need a break/an extra hand. Please message me for specifics. I'm finding this interface somewhat difficult to use to specify my availability as it isn't the same every week. Tks! My living quarters aren't large enough to keep your pet(s) at my place - and my landlords don't allow cats/dogs. I like to care for pets in the ways that are best for each individual. With your input, I'll be able to learn how to help them get their needs met in the ways they are used to. They are your pets and so I want to do my best to attempt to keep things familiar for them. 😉 I am used to caring for animals in their homes as I'm comfortable doing so given that I work around them in most of my client's homes, as a house cleaner, and have pet sat animals in their homes in the past.

About: I've owned and cared for pets my entire life. I've been relied on to walk, feed, and spend quality time with the pets of friends and family, as well as my own animals that I've had since childhood. Animals are a big part of my life and are often what keep me sane in my day to day life. I'm comfortable with pets of any size, age, and training level. I work a serving job 4-5 nights a week, and have a day job that I do remotely or in-office about 10-20 hours a week. I have plenty of time during the day to check in on pets, as well as at night before and after my shifts. In clients homes, I'm responsive and communicative about visits. I’m a very tidy person, & will diligently follow house rules on visits. My top priority is to make sure your pet feels safe and secure in my presence, and doing so requires good communication with owners and good observation skills.

First time we have left our puppy with a pet sitter and we’re naturally anxious at first but felt completely relaxed and confident with Auden especially after many cute pictures and texts of Birdie and Yen playing, sleeping and on walks together. Such a relief to find someone you feel safe leaving your pet with.”

About: Hey there I’m Meghan, call on me if you need help caring for your fur babies. I Grew up on a horse farm in NC surrounded by tons of animals of all kinds and loved every minute of it! Moved to Iowa on a beautiful farm right outside of West branch and ready to spread some love to the furry friends of Iowa city and surrounding areas as well as assist the families that care for these guys day in and day out. I’m currently not working and have a pretty free schedule where I can help with all your pet needs including dog boarding, drop in visits, walks, sitting, trips to the vet, groomer, and whatever else can come up in the journey of pet ownership. I’m currently not working so I have a lot of free time to help out and care for some pets if people are in need. I live on a 10 acre farm with a massive yard great for exploring as well as a big home with plenty of space and pet beds and couches galore to help your pup feel safe content while you’re away.

About: I love all animals! My retirement dream is to spend my days with dogs and cats. I decided why wait! I have cared for dogs and cats for over 30 years. I have always had my own pets, but I have also cared for friends, family, and neighbor's pets over the years as well. During the week and the school year I work with children. There is nothing I love more than coming home from a busy day and spending time with animals. During the day I have time over lunch for dog walks or pet care. After school hours, weekends, and summers are free to spend time with pets. In my home I have a lot of area for pets to roam and lounge around.
