About: My best friend of 15 years and her family have two wonderful dogs, a doodle and a lab who I have taken care of so many times. I even watched the doodle when she was just a few months old for about a week during a snow storm while her family was on vacation. They’re a handful but so much fun. I have also cat-sit for up to 3-weeks on end. Giving medicine, checking for packages, and updating if anything seems off. I am a graduate student with very flexible hours. I am happy to spend time with your pet while I study or just for personal therapy. I will make time for animals no matter what. I go above and beyond noting things like if the house temperature is uncomfortable for said pet. I keep them under constant supervision and won’t leave them alone for more than a few hours unless discussed otherwise. I am very thorough and will take extra time to make sure each pet feels comfortable and safe with a new person around them. I know what it takes to be patient with pets.
About: I have cared for cats and dogs my whole life. My family had labs and border collies at home when I was younger, and I currently have two cats. I am a teacher in the Iowa City school district. About: I have years of experience with dogs, from puppies to seniors. I have trained several dogs and have experience working with dogs with health conditions. I also have experience administering dogs their medications. I am a teacher and currently work part-time in the summer. I have plenty of flexibility throughout the week, weekend, and during the school year. I have a gated off patio for dogs to play in. If they are in the yard, I will have them on their leash to ensure safety. Please provide a crate.

About: I have grown up with all kinds of animals from horses to dogs and understand the responsibility or taking care of animals and their unique needs. I understand the importance of providing a safe and stress free environment for the pets and owners! I am a full time college student at the university of Iowa. My availability is pretty flexible for drop in visits and walks! Depending on when classes are I might have to work around them! My goal is to create a stress free environment for the animal and parent. I make sure to stay attentive to needs of the animal to keep it as safe and happy as possible. By treating every pet as my own I want to be trusting and reliable for their owners.
About: I have my own dog at home who I have grown up with. I have also grown up taking care of neighborhood dogs and my uncles dogs who I have taken care of since they were puppies. I have also taken care of many of my neighbors cats and other various pets. I am currently a full time student technically but I have a lot of open times that I would love to come hang out with some pets who just need some extra loving or taking care of. This also helps me have a break from life and focus on just spending quality time with some pets who are fun to be around. I always put the pet first. I make sure I remember times I went over or left and how long I have stayed at a residence so they have enough time outside of kennels or for play time. I want the pets to feel like they can be calm and chill or be crazy and I’ll play with them or walk them when they just need some energy out.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
