1. Lindsey M.
“Lindsey is a very mature, reliable and professional person. She will go above and beyond what a pet owner would want her to do for their baby. She is an avid animal lover and has cared for our animals with the same love and attention we give them. She is a hard worker, punctual, and kind. Animals love her! I would hire her for sure!”

2. Auden B.

“Auden has given walks to our dog, Mochi, over the last six months. She was a lifesaver after I had a baby in January and it was harder for me to have the time to walk Mochi, especially in the cold weather. Mochi especially loved going on walks in Hickory Hill Park with her. Thank you, Auden!”

3. Shelly Q.

“I pass on my highest recommendation for any pet sitting needs you may have! I am her daughter and also a veterinarian. She has helped me care for countless animals, including many special needs pets, that I have brought home in need of love and support over the years. She has been pet sitting for several years. Shelly is compassionate, detail oriented, driven, and a bit of a neat freak. She is just the person that you would want to leave in charge and your pets would want to spend time with!”

4. Alexander K.

“Alex was great with the dogs and very punctual. Highly recommend :)”

6. Sonja G.

“Sonja is a very sweet and kind young lady. I am so lucky to have found her. She is always on time and is generous with her time. She has walked my dogs for a couple of days and did great. I can’t thank her enough walking my furbabies for I was unable to due to illness. I definitely will be a return client if needed. Thanks”

10. Elizabeth E.
About: I've been around and cared for dogs on and off since I was a young child. Currently, I volunteer regularly with the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption center and have gone through their training classes on dog behavior and providing appropriate stimulation and play. I've cleaned kennels and walked dogs as small as a Yorkie and as big as a Great Dane with a variety of quirks and behaviors. I love throwing a ball or just sitting and scratching some soft ears; whatever your pupper needs. I work a full-time, remote job that allows me flexibly to work from anywhere and the passion to shower your pet with the love they need and deserve. I work full-time fully remote during the day. I am able to do in-home, overnight, or drop in care with lots of flexibility. If you're close enough, I can drop in over breaks or lunch if necessary. I'll follow all house rules regarding your pet: on or off furniture, outdoor or indoor time, treats, feeding, and walkies. I can drop in multiple times a day, or work from your home to provide all day care/attention

11. Sara M.
“I can’t say enough great things about Sara! From the moment I met her, I felt completely at ease leaving my dog in her care. She was incredibly attentive, patient, and thoughtful, ensuring my dog felt comfortable and loved while I was away. She followed all my instructions to the letter, kept me updated with pictures and messages, and really went above and beyond to make sure my dog had a fantastic time. I could tell that my dog was happy and well taken care of. I highly recommend Sara to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

12. Rachel L.
About: I love all animals! My retirement dream is to spend my days with dogs and cats. I decided why wait! I have cared for dogs and cats for over 30 years. I have always had my own pets, but I have also cared for friends, family, and neighbor's pets over the years as well. During the week and the school year I work with children. There is nothing I love more than coming home from a busy day and spending time with animals. During the day I have time over lunch for dog walks or pet care. After school hours, weekends, and summers are free to spend time with pets. In my home I have a lot of area for pets to roam and lounge around. I have a fenced yard and I enjoy walking the trails around my house with dogs. In your home I will follow your expectations for your pet. I will talk to them, play with them, and give them lots of love.

13. Lacey T.
“Lacey has been watching my pets for almost a year now. My girlfriend and myself work long hours and just don't like keeping the dogs in their crates for that amount of time. Lacey will walk them and plays fetch with them. Would definitely recommend her.”

14. Hannah F.
“Hannah took great care of my two golden retrievers for a week while I was on vacation. She was very responsible with all the tasks given to her. I would trust her to watch my furry friends again. She made sure to keep me posted on how they were doing and has since walked them for me many times. Thanks again, Hannah.”

15. Jaxson K.
“Jaxson takes care of my very high maintenance yet adorable dogs frequently. They like him more than me if that tells you anything about the care and attention he gives them both. He is kind and patient and loves my dogs! Thank you Jaxson for being the best pet sitter ever! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs since I was in high school, from family members, neighbors, or friends! I can provide services for dogs, cats, smaller animals ect. I have cared for puppies that need help with potty training, special dogs that need extra care and help with certain needs, to senior dogs that need help getting up or walking around. I’ve also given oral medications for dogs at multiple different families. I have also been a Nanny for Iowa Elite Nannies since 2018 and pick up shifts for numerous families around the area. I am renovating a house so with all the things that’s going on at my home I’d prefer to come to you for a better safer environment for pets at this time. I am very active and love going on walks and playing with pets in anyway I can to make sure they get all their zoomies out. I currently work full time (7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday) as a dental assistant at North Liberty Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. I can provide drop-in visits before/after my work hours or during my free time or weekends. I can possibly do overnights at the rovers house as well if requested and works out with my schedule. My home is currently undergoing renovations at this time so I’m not offering boarding at my home. I will stay at the rovers house with their pet if requested. I love all animals and will treat them like my own. If the pets family has a routine for the animals or specific requests I will obviously follow that and do what is asked. Obviously food, water, and potty breaks are a necessity and I will provide that for your pets. If your pet has an specific diet, allergies, medications Id request that it be written down, so I can always make sure I’m giving your pet the correct portions/amounts.

17. Irini P.
“I have known Irini for the past 8 years. Something that I quickly learned about Irini was her huge love for animals. Irini and I lived together for 4 years and in those 4 years there were multiple animals she took care of. There were multiple cats, dogs, and even turtles that saw visited our apartment. She was always responsible. Whenever she animal-sat she made sure they were fed when they needed to and would take the time to play with them. Whether that was taking a dog to the park or playing with a cat in our apartment. My sister and I have a cat and we have left him with her plenty of times. Would highly recommend Irini!”

19. Rhyan R.
“Rhyan is one of the most educated people I know when it comes to animals. She knows what food/treats can be harmful for your pets, ways to enrich your dog’s mind, and how to successfully and properly care for reptiles and fish. Our dog absolutely loves Rhyan and we know he is in great hands when we leave them together! I recommend Rhyan to any pet owner looking for a well-educated and trusted individual to care for their pets!”

20. Megan S.
About: I am home full time during the summer on a huge farm. I am an animal lover. I have a dog and two cats myself. I really enjoy being active and running with my dog daily. I know dogs are happiest when they are interacting. I enjoy what makes a dog a dog, quirks and all. I can't watch A Dog's Purpose because I know I will cry, but the message of the story is so true. A dog just loves to see you happy and in return I love to see happy dogs. I take my dog to doggy day care a few times a week when I am teaching because I know he is being active and having fun and knowing he is happy is all I can ask for.
